and a closer look at the K.I.T.T

Over all a good night , i have heard that the KPGC110 can be hard to find but there is a big stock of them at my wallmart every now and then, must be that only some locations get them

Walmart's tricky, as most of the stores are open 24 hours. I think I left home around 4am this morning. Ridiculous. I love it. :D
and yes wallmart is a tricky place most cars are always taken but i do some early runs before school and get lucky , that is how i found my first super TH

Ugh! Very jealous right now, been looking for that and the 2000 GT-X I really want. :grumpy: Unfortunately I started a year late on collecting hot wheels...

I've been going through my local Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. But one place I do want to check out is the indoor flea market in my town. I'll just have to look harder. :ouch:

i have found some in some outdoor markets but not any more :indiff: just try harder

I like how dc just comes home, and already has KITT.

We've been calling them Kenmeri Skyline, and they are WAY overstocked around my town too, today.

Have you checked grocery stores? Place I shop for grocery carries Hot Wheels, and someone here mentioned Safeway, too.

Yea this is why I went just for the T.I.T.T. It seems that there is lots of collectors were I live but most of them look for the THunts and not the regular cars this is why I find lots of good cars but no THs :(

That misspell was funny.
Also - while technically it’s K.I.T.T. (remember K.I.T.T. vs K.A.R.R. when Two Thousand took on the Rover?) even the producers eventually opted for just KITT. KITT’s so much easier to type!:)

a6m5 - you may be right about KITT - could turn out to be another DeLorean dump. I’m a little weary of seeing the past in the present - enough Back to the Future! Anyway, that makes me a little better about not finding one yet.

My collection of MBs grows insidiously - I must have over 200 now, most in packages. The Work Vehicles, Commercial Vehicles, etc, fascinate me, and if I see one I don’t have, I pick it up right away. I bypass the HW Fantasy cars most often - I prefer to work with reproductions of real cars; yet my collection of ’odd’ must-have fantasy cars keeps growing.
That’s how this hobby takes over one’s space. Let alone time.:)

Here are some of the MBs (you may recognise the one from which Cano stole the luggage rack):

I'm not gonna lie, I like the water bottle truck. I don't know why.

That Yamaha ATV/Truck thing, I came so close to buying it many times, I'm not sure if I ever did. I don't think I did. :boggled:

sssscrew AAAAAAAAALLLLLLLL OF YOU who have Boulevard cars in supermarkets.

SCREW.

YOU.
what about me there is the same car there everytime at mine I've seen it doubled but never gotten it

But I DID get an Aurora from 2012 muscle pics soon

Have you guys ever considered trading cars amongst each other to help each other build their collection? For example, different regions will get certain cars more likelier than other places. Just in the past 2 days I'm seeing people post pics of cars (in multiple amounts) I have yet to find here.

Obviously it wouldn't be worth the money to ship one car at a time, but you get where I'm going with this? I almost want to start some sort of trading system (not here though).

Might head out to the local indoor flea market to see what they have. :D If not, I'll just check it out next weekend.

What's that 2nd red one?

The top left red one is the Stingray Concept and the one below the white Pontiac Firebird is the 2011 Dodge Charger R/T. Apologies for the sun glare.

EDIT: I know I keep posting about this flea market, but having never been to one before. Is there any suggestions of things to look for or avoid?

A photo from their facebook page about two months ago... They didn't really take any clear pictures. X_X

I saw pictures online of my local indoor flea market, I saw so much garbage that nobody would want there, including no hot wheels, I decided not to bother.

P.S. I swear I didn't take that picture. I think it's even more blurrier than my pics!

That is a lot of cars. Yeah, I think it's a good idea restraining your hot wheels habit, at least until you are married. Then you can start lying & sneaking around to your family members like some other people in this thread. :sly:

Just kidding, of course. Sorry, I couldn't resist it.

Shipping is a pain in the butt though, and I think arranging something like that can be nearly impossible at least on a regular basis.

I've thought about selling each other cars at cost before? But even then, what if the cars get lost, or payment fall through, etc.

Perhaps there will be occasion for something like that.

You never know what to find, so I might go there anyways before work and look through those pegs with the possibility of something hiding in the back. I'm mainly going after real cars so I hope to find something or a model of a year that I missed. :( Rather curious as to how the person could take such blurry pictures. Seems as if they were running around the store quickly. But yeah, I saw some pictures of larger scale models so I'll look at those as well. Could have possibly changed up the stuff. <_<

I wasn't suggesting a business thing nor did I suggest anything to be done daily. :odd:
It's more like a forwarding service, helping each other build on our collection, if one region tends to get stuff that I don't for example, I can ask that person to buy one for me, and send it to me, and I'll pay them back for the car and shipping.

Shipments can be lost and stuff, that can't be helped, but it's not like fortune went to waste since shipping a tiny toy car can't cost a whole lot.

With that said, I almost want to buy a Hakosaku off one of you guys.

Oh wow it's about time I found this thread. I've been officially collecting these since December 2009, and as of now I currently have 158 cars, and 151 of those are actually licensed ones (I focus on those for collecting). Some possibly interesting details of my collection are that I have 19 Speed Machines (2010 series), 4 2011 HW Garage, 1 Vintage Racing, 4 IndyCar Series (2 from 2009, 2 from 2011), and 1 Ferrari Racer edition cars. The rest are either mainline HW/MB, or Greenlight 1:64 (Motor World/Hot Pursuit Series), as well as a Shelby Collectibles '10 GT500.

ooooooooo I'd go there RIGHT NOW, I already see three cars I'd have in my hands already. Tell you what, take pics when you go and I'll take a look and tell you which ones are worth getting.

and yes I saw the updates, Frosty. The new series to which the Aurora belongs is pretty cool, the only one I've managed to snatch is the yellow 65 Mustang with Minilites... and it's still on the mail.
