I don't think I've posted in here yet, so here goes...

Fresh from all the way in Canada!

A friend of mine was nice enough to send me this... after I found out, supposedly, the Ken Block HW Fiesta is only available in the US and Canada... and right after I'd sent my details to him, we found one in Morrisons. Ah well, looks like I'll have to have two... ;P

I think I'll open this one... the other one I found in Morrisons will remain in the packaging though. I've only just recently started leaving my HW/MB in their packaging... mainly because all the other unboxed ones have just got too dusty or scratched. Here are my still packaged ones:

The Ken Block Fiesta found in Morrisons by my eagle eyed mother;

Camaro ZL1, also found in Morrisons, on the same day;

Copo Camaro, found in Morrisons, same day;

Matchbox Oldsmobile Vista Cruise, found this in Wilkinsons and immedietly grabbed it. It has a For Sale sign in the windscreen, with 'dogs not included' on. It also has dogs in the back. Obviously.

Ford Gran Torino Sport, from Morrisons;

And finally, an Impala;

I have looaadds more, but... they're tucked away and I'm lazy.

Gosh i was so happy when i found that ken block car until last week there was hundreds of them in the 75C clearance bin =( thank god i have a white one!!!!

Drum roll please...

Went to the Dollar Tree at the mall today for the first time...and guess what I found!

First time I did a small hoarding in one shopping run. I just HAD to get the Kenmeri Skylines! Also found the Evora from 2011 and some other 2011 Hot Wheels. A lot of 2011 models at the Dollar Tree along with several Maisto cars I never saw anywhere else. I think I'll be going there again.

Nothing too interesting at Toys R Us, but I did buy the Classic Rides 5-Pack. My first 5-pack that I've ever bought. Not counting the Ferrari 5-Pack my cousin gifted me years ago.

Pretty much I wanted all of these models! Speaking of which, I found an offroad 5-pack (can't remember the exact one) with three of the five cars on their side. An error? Or were they just too big to place on their wheels in the package.

I've taken note of the mass abduction of my cars and will be looking to pick them up again should I see them in stores the next time I visit. Some of them I won't bother because I didn't even like the car anyway. If anyone is curious as to what cars went missing, here they are:

Probably a stupid question, but would Walmart be open on Easter Sunday? Looked it up online and for some reason it says it's always closed on Sunday, which it shouldn't say that since I always go there after work on Sundays. Unless it was updated to tell people that it was THIS Sunday it would be closed. If it is, I won't be able to do my Hot Wheels run...

That depends if the Walmart is a tourist attraction. If it is, then it's definitely not closed. My store, a dollar store at that, is a tourist attraction and we're never closed unless it's Christmas Day. How sad is that?

Where I'm from(Japan), and where I live(U.S.), Disney Land is a tourist attraction, National Park, Mount Fuji, historical buildings, beach, etc. Department stores, no.

Edit2: I forgot, I guess there are world's largest mall-type stuff in Canada, though only one I've heard of is in Toronto. But if it's one of those, I guess they do qualify even by our standards.

Edit: Opened up my 5-pack! Only to find out that the Oldsmobile Vista Wagon had a broken front fascia...

Should have looked closer into the package before I bought it... Well, have you're laugh.

The front left side is slightly bent downwards. Apologies for the quality of the pictures...my camera's awful. Tried my best. Up close it's actually a bit worse than it looks in the pictures. :/

Funny enough, I was just talking with my brother and he also said the same thing about how surprised he was that Walmart was closed.

Are you sure your car isn't the "Light Fender-Bender Edition"? Of course, I never took mine out of the packaging, so I shouldn't laugh. Too hard.

I agree - I would buy several if they were available - specifically so I can mod one to look like the Bentley Speed 8. It's not a Keaton Batmobile or a hard-nose, though for a second there I thought it was - is it really a very dark blue, Wilson? Your ninja edit (the suspense must have been hilarious) provoked me to think - who stole what idea from whom?

As for the Civic - I have two - not sure how many more are there without actually wading through the swamp that is Google - so can't bother.

Here's something else to ponder; tricky packages. These are untouched, not tampered with, and are factory sealed. Identical numbers, but with a colour and wheel variation. Both 2012s from the HW Performance Series. The only difference in the packages are the Indigo stripe Vs the Blue stripe.

Yeah, some stores are open in Las Vegas during Easter also. Mostly around the Strip area. Those stores are always open 24/7 .

But in certain neighborhoods or broughs out here, finding a store open on a holiday can be kinda tricky. Espically in nicer or newer areas. I live out in Southern Highlands area in Vegas, so some stores will be closed on major holidays.
