the corgi in this pisture is the Buick cop car, cost me $4

This would be the latest Corgi addition to my collection, the Bizarrini Manta in near-mint shape, cost me $5

A lot of your collection is in very good condition, and I'd be happy to pay those prices for such good examples - these cars are around 25 years old after all!

@wolfdragon97

How much are they in Morrisons? Sainburys near me don't stock any, so may try Morrisons 👍

They're about £1.20, maybe a little more... no more than £2 though. Morrisons have both Hot Wheels and Matchbox. Well, the one near me does anyway... lol.

I check Tesco, Sainsburys, Wilkinsons and the local pound shop weekly.
Every couple of months I'll also stop at Asda, Morrisons and Argos.

Prices for basic Hotwheels usually range from 97p to £1.29, though WHSmiths are a rip off at £1.99 for a tiny selection of 2 or 3 year old cars.

I've also recently noticed the appearance of the blind bags for £1.99 at Tesco and Wilkos.
Why would I pay twice the price for a blind bag where I cannot be 100% sure of the contents, and more importantly can't tell if the car inside is damaged?

Hi guys,

I've taken note of the mass abduction of my cars and will be looking to pick them up again should I see them in stores the next time I visit. Some of them I won't bother because I didn't even like the car anyway. If anyone is curious as to what cars went missing, here they are:

:scared: Looking at that list I sincerely hope that you discover them in a shoebox hidden at the back of your closet / under the bed / in the attic etc.. That kind of disappearance is not accidental - they must have been deliberately packed away for some unknown or forgotten reason.

I do remember taking them off the wall shelf, I just don't remember where they went or what they went in for that matter.

I've declared them as "long-gone" already. The space I use around the house isn't big and I usually don't forget where I store a massive amount of things like this, but this case just happens to be an exception.

Hey Guys:idea:

I'm not gonna lie....... if I saw that at the store, I'd buy it.

I have no idea what it is......................but yeah I'd buy one.

Hey wilson3a10, i have 1 of those (but i prefer the flame job on your's, and the metal base)
Can't really tell from my crappy pic, but the engine is awesome (think it has 2 turbos).

The thing is called Ground FX and is supposed to portray a land speed racing car; At 1ness, you do prefer the flame job on Wilson's car, but not the metallic base. Wilson's version doesn't have the removable body feature. My favorite version is the Mooneyes livery:

But sadly, it doesn't have the removable body either. Still, greatest paintjob to ever adorn this car.

I was hoping somebody knew what that thing was. And I think I do agree with you; flame was cool, but the yellow Mooneyes paint job is simply kick ass!

It is. And it was pretty difficult to find, at least here. I only saw mine and other I got for a friend, and that was it. Suposedly, a friend of mine has another one for me, but he's like 150 kilometers away but may come to Mexico City this year, so I'll wait. I want it to swap in a removable body-enabled base which I have lying around somewhere.

Yeah, distance totally kills trading. Right after posting, I started looking around for the Mooneyes & the flame one. Too bad the bodies don't come off, but I just had to have them. :P Very weird, as I usually don't even look at fantasy/made-up cars. Here are the Mooneyes I just found and bought. I didn't want two, but for two, I thought it was a decent price, and I wouldn't have to wait for the auction to end.

I have to have the flame one, still. I'm gonna go look around s'more. :dopey:

Ugh, yes. Johny Lightnings and a few Hot Wheels.

EDIT: Didn't see this.

Have you broken your losing streak yet?

Yes. Yesterday I got two HW Garages, three rare variations of construction equipment and a blue Falcon XB for 8 bucks, shipped.

That woodie is so kick butt. I'd like to get that. Falcon looks very cool. If I ever see one in a store, that might be something I might like to get. Construction stuff, I couldn't care less. Sorry Cano and Photonrider.
One is in pieces at the moment.

Care to explain? Project?

oh screw you, haha. Dude, those were cars I played with when I was a brat, I've loved that kinda truck stuff since then. And they're all pretty hard to find, afaik the yellow tractor and street cleaver are only playset deals, the cement mixer is just old.

Somewhat off topic, somewhat not. Anyone else remember these videos? (Maybe I'm just old...) I had the whole collection, and each VHS tape came with a Limited Edition Hot Wheels. I would kill to know how much these would be worth to some people today. Too bad mine are probably ancient relics by now, though.

Yes, I do remember and I have two of the limited edition cars, the pink Shadow Jet and, I think, the white Speed Shark or whatever it was called. A guy in the recent club get.together was selling a still-sealed tape with a Porsche 911 for like $15.

I've never seen it, but looks like something I would have gone nuts over as a kid.

Edit: Seems to be missing an engine.
I think you are being serious, but it sounds like comedy.

Cano: I'm gonna get that Passion Woodie(har har). I know I'm not going to find the kind of deal you found, but are these still current "Garage" series? Can I expect to find one of these in stores?

Yep, remember both of those. The pink Shadow Jet was also the protagonist car of a few of the movies.

Nevermind on the Passion Woodie, I just ordered this color. More my cup of tea. The car looks so awesome(one left!).

Would it be possible to post more pics of this car, Ben? It looks beautiful from the side. I wonder if the front & back is equally as good? 👍

Ah, I was gonna tell you to instead get the Since 68 version:

Purple_Passion_Woody_-_B6633df.jpg

but too late I guess

I don't get it.... is that one worth more? I like the one I bought for the cool flames, and dark purple(they also call it black?) paint. The one we have here, the "wood" looks all messed up and everything. :odd:

See, this one I like. :embarrassed:

haha, no, I just like the Since 68 version more because of the whitewalls, color, and lack of flames. It would have been cheaper, too.
