Thanks for the info guys... I walked into a toy store yesterday... (Oh Joy ) and looked at the bin they had there, but no GT-R :( Did find a yellow Ferrari 250 LM though.... ;)

So I am having second thoughts of doing the decals on the GT Academy cars. I can't seem to get them "right", and my crappy printer makes them a bit blurry. I might just have to purchase the laser printer decal paper and have a local printing shop do the transfer.

God you guys still managed to get the R35 whilst it's already out of stock here :(

Now I have to play the not so best game ever... The waiting game.....

While I agree its not the best game ever, it shouldn't really be that hard since this isn't the first thing you've had to wait for *looks at Sony*

Picked these up over the weekend at a garage sale

I have that Purple Passion and loved it so much I was bothered to make a copy on Midnight Club 3.

Looks like crap, but bah, oh well.

So how is everyone? I see there have been some serious great finds lately. 👍

What year did Hotwheels make the R-32. I might have to try and track one down. I picked up a Camaro ss in red with sweet as stripes and a green Plymouth Superbird today.

2002 they first made it. But you should be able to find a 2009 version at shops.

I only recently started this, was stopping at Echuca to get petrol before the next slog of 5-6 hours of driving north to Sydney before New Years with my fiancee. I was bored standing in line inside the Shell Servo, and I looked back and saw a '08 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR (red). Immediately in my head it was OMG! Then underneath the Viper was the 2010 Mustang GT with the new body shape, second OMG!!!

So since then I've been back into Hot Wheels after a hiatus since I was about 8, lol.

This is my collection to date (from top to bottom, left to right). The Speed Machine ones are better quality but hard to find the ones I like:

Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
'09 Nissan GT-R SpecV
'06 Viper SRT-10
'07 Ford Shelby GT500

The GT-R and Ford from the U.S., for like $2, as opposed to the other two I bought for $6 @ David Jones.

2009 Corvette Stingray Concept
2009 Corvette ZR1
Corvette C6 Convertible
2010 Camaro SS
Pontiac? something
2008 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR
Lamborghini Murcielago
Lamborghini Gallardo
Bugatti Veryon
2009 Nissan GT-R
2009 Nissan 370Z (the paint job on these are really bad)
2010 Mustang GT
2010 Ford Shelby GT500
2009? Dodge Challenger

Matchbox
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Mercedes SLR McLaren
Audi R8

Nice one... thanks for the links... Do they ship internationally?

-edit: Nevermind, I'll see where they ship to when I look at them ;)

Well actually I saw a Black Gallardo there earlier in the day but when I got there earlier tonight, the car is gone. I believe one of the collector has taken it... Well not my luck but happy with what I have so far :)

The Veyron looks like quite a nice little model actually. I might have to find myself one of those.

It is really nice in fact. Just that I'm a bit dissapointed with the detail around the front grille. Nevermind, because these cars are cheap :P Get one for fun!

They are really nice. I have one of the first ones (in the black and red paint) and it's sweet. Mine actually is really nice around the front grille detail wise, maybe I just got lucky. My brother's blue one with the gold wheels...is a bit of a disappointment. The paint was sloppily applied and the detail is lacking. But I have the good one!:sly:

I have the same one. Black and red paint. I find it to be average to be honest. The paint is applied nicely, except for the front, where they seemed to get sloppy. Also the tampos arent the most spectacular thing I've seen.

Sneak-peak for the R34 Skyline has hit the web:

finally!!!! and it's pretty decent if you ask me. some quick detailing should bring it way up. I already want to see the crazy customs people will do with these. Mine's anyone?

Hi, I'm a bit of a Hot Wheels/Matchbox collector too, I've probably got around 150, however I stopped purchasing or rather at least stopped looking so much when I ran out of display space. My most recent purchase is the '09 CTS-V. I have a couple other brands as well, which aren't necessarily as well made, but I got a VL Walkinshaw and VS GTS-R for example out of one lot. There were others but didn't look much like the real thing.:boggled: I also only buy real cars, except for one which looked a lot like a real car and I thought looked tough. I also tend to remove them from their packets.
