Another one of interest. Someone posted this on the HWC forums from the Hotwheels community day at the Indy 500. They were showing some new cars there. Check the car in the middle of the picture. Can't wait for this one. đź‘Ť

I got these on the way back from my class... Hehe, looks like I'm on luck today :D

Cadillac LMP | Mazda Furai

Phwoar, the Corvette Stingray concept, I hope I can find that one (I already have the 2010 CTS-V). I have at least one of every generation of Corvette, plus a C1 race car, C2 race car, C2, C5, C6 convertibles and a C6 race car and C6 ZR1.:D I don't buy or look for these nearly as often these days, I really need my own house for display space.:guilty: I have over 200 now.:)

It would be good if they made an Australian car series.

There is an XB falcon out at the moment which is a bit hard to find on shelves in Aus anyway. Also Hotwheels has made the VN commodore and VT commodore. Apparently Matchbox is making a VE ute I heard.

You should be able to find a stingray fairly easy. They are everywhere in yellow. Silver not as much but I think silver is an older colour.

Yellow would like nicer anyway, I'll have a look next time I'm out. I've never seen any Australian cars on the shelf, otherwise it'd have been the first thing I mentioned in this thread after I bought it.

And from today's flea market hunting, Hot Wheels Lotus 340R and Firebird, Maisto Beetle and Realtoy S2000. All apart from possibly the Firebird might be getting a refurb, the Beetle to Mexican Taxi scheme, the 340 to a more standard colour and the S2K to a Spoon racing scheme:

And their current home (carefully placed so as not to damage them), may or may not be the UKGTP trophy :D

Thanks :) I'll be after a Roadster Coupe next, and then possibly a ForTwo and ForFour. Also, how bright is that orange on the Roadie? :P Gave me a shock when I opened the parcel...

Yes that's really strange. Mine is a darker red.
Maybe they made two color variations

Damn you people and your Citroen rally cars! Still haven't found that one...

Something I've been working on:

Just a simple re-paint and wheel swap. I plan on doing another one of these soon with a full drag racing setup.

I just can't believe you have not found the freaking Citroen. I've left literally hundreds of them hangin' in the rafters.

Fox Rustang looks neat with the Phill's Garage Barracuda wheels ans black finish... pretty sinister. mine just had the Nitto tampos removed, but I may get another one soon to also tackle a drag racing theme...

On the same line, R1600, have you ever considered restoring or resurrecting hot wheels instead of giving the axe to new, perfectly good ones? your good work could save countless older hot wheels in need of tlc...

wow, I did not know that version of the HW Trans Am, looks pretty freaking neat. I'll need to hunt it down, it's one of those castings that I collect in all it's bitchin versions. Thanks for the unvolntary info, HfS, and glad you are attacking local flea markets too. If you ever redo the VW as a mexican taxi let me know (:

We don't really have nearly as many antique stores out here as we used to. I'm not even sure where they are. My Hotwheels stuff might slow down here shortly since I have to move to Phoenix for school in a couple months.

Apparently the Citroen Rally car may not be officially released in the USA due to licensing issues. Heard that from a couple people on HWC.com.

Holy hell, you can get a Hot Wheels Talbot Lago? I have to get one of those, beautiful cars.

And Cano, you're welcome :) Didn't realise there was any American iron you didn't already have! :P

If thats true, then how the hell the did NISM0_SKYLINE get one? :odd:

I have no idea, I came home from work and my dad had it sitting on the table. But I'm going to guess the Speed Machines one is the problemed one, but I hope not, that be cool if I had it and no one else could.

Guess I should have said: "the Citroen Rally car will not be available on a US card, only an international card". Some cars on a card with the yellow stripe will be international cards, and for the USA they will switch them over to something else. Meaning this one will be very hard to find here in many parts of the country. Including mine. :(

Edit: That Mazda Furai is a good example. New car for this year, but for the USA it's on that "All Stars" card.

Ah ok, makes much sense now. So it'll be over here indeed, just on a very hard to find card.

Hey Cano,

just to let you know, my Dad and I are in the process in restoring a Hotwheels car. It's currently in primer.

I got me some new ones today as well, although I won't be taking pics so I'l just list them :P, '81 DMC Delorean (Gold, gold wheels), '67 Firebird 400 (Red, black wheels), '09 Corvette Stingray Concept (Yellow, woot), '68 El Camino without a huge V8 in the tray (Silver with flame job), red Ferrari California (I hope I don't already have this one, but I have cousins who'd appreciate it if I do), Merc SLR McLaren (hope I don't already have this one either ), '62 Mustang Concept (white), '71 Ford Maverick Grabber (blue), '84 Pontiac, err, re-badged Grand National?, Dodge Charger Drift Car and a '67 GT500 (don't know if I have one of these already too).

Edit: OK I checked and I don't have any of those already :dopey:, however there was a C6 Convertible Vette in the shops that I don't have and didn't buy it because I thought I did!:ouch:

I found the XB on the HotWheels website, but it doesn't look very good. I tried looking for it tonight in all the shops with no luck, oh well.
