Well, $1200 later, I might not attend the K-Mart thing after all. I did find these funky bunch this morning:

My first T-Bucket! Look Cano, I'm finding more old stuff(I couldn't believe it) on the shelf! That superhero car thing was two bucks. I'm sure it was on sale.

Handful of neat Matchboxes. Boulevard was $1. I think my grocery store's clearing them out. I do hope they continue to stock the high-end stuff.

Last redline I've seen(got it at Walmart few days ago) + two more Express Lane from eBay.

Edit: Anyone know where I can find that Batmobile/Batman moster truck combo? Harry posted it awhile back, but I haven't seen it anywhere.

I shouldn't be telling you this because I'm damn angry about the Morgan . . . but anyway - I got it from Toys'R'Us. About a month back they had only Maximum Destruction - which was priced at $5.99 - so I grabbed that, since I'm a fan - and then a couple of weeks ago I guess I dropped in for school supplies (Toys'R'Us for school supplies?!) and found tons of the Bats and Bone Shakers - but they were priced at $9.99 each.
I picked up one each in any case - thought I was going to complete the collection, since only those three models were featured on the back of the card. But I believe they are now adding more models to the line of combos.
The Batmobile in the combo is really nice. Slightly larger than the other Mainline Bats.

I see you guys are all wasting your money as usual. (pot black :lol)

P.S. $1200 was a rifle, though I'd imagine I've probably spent few hundred on the Hot Wheels so far.

Edit: I ended up going to the K-Mart thing today. I had no idea what the heck was going on. Thanks to group of friendly dudes, I got the number, got to open a box, and got nothing I had hoped for:

Not entirely true. I did want the El Camino, and thought the Nissan truck was cool. But still, no rover or any treasure hunts. This kid from the group I think got Super + regular treasure hunt + rover. But this guy who was especially helpful, he didn't get called until all the boxes were open. Felt bad for him.

Ratio wasn't that bad. I think the first four or so group got to go through unopened boxes. Last two groups I think got recycled contents.

They limited us to five cars from the boxes? That was actually cruel, as I couldn't even find five cars I didn't mind having in the whole box.

After everybody got to go through the boxes, it was free-for-all for the remainder of cars.

Every Kmart handles it a different way. 9 or 10 people showed up to mine, including myself. We each got to open 7 boxes and one guy got an extra box, since he showed up first. No 5 minute or 5 car rule. Half of us stayed behind to clean up the mess and peg the rest of the cars. Here's what I grabbed.

Some cars worth mentioning:

- Black 458 with the hard to find black interior variation
- $uper Charger
- 7 Chevelle T-Hunts w/ 1 base and body retool/variation (And if I didn't take them all, someone else there would have)
- Silverado missing part of grill
- Nissan Titan, absolutely love it!

Will get some pics up of these a bit later. And don't be discouraged, my second Kday was pretty bad.

Well, looks like you got just one more rover than I did. That makes me feel little bit better! whatever lol

Two guys who got Super both were the Chargers. The kid who also got regular treasure hunt, it was also Chevelle. I'd rather have the rover I think.

My only real gripe was that, since we were breaking open new boxes, I thought I'd finally get that Mystery Machine van. Too bad they didn't have the Celica. That would have trounced anything I saw today for me. *shrug*

Ended up going through the scraps and got most cars I wanted except for the Mars Rover. 👎 Got the Ferrari with tan & black interiors plus a few more.

Then went to IKEA to buy a shadow box for my new display. Pictures will be posted on Monday.

Edit: Celica should be out at the November K-Days.

Last Kday I went to there weren't enough cases for everyone and I was one of the unlucky ones. This time there were too many imho. Maybe try a different location next Kday in November. I know the feeling.

Good find on the Ferrari's though! First Kmart I hit had none, but the leftovers at the second location had one. How many black interiors did you find?

Every case had a hunt at ours and 2 $upers.

Some cars still have the TH symbol on it, some don't. We're not 100% sure of the specifics.

I don't think you missed out on that much. In fact, if you are glass half-full guy, just look at how it was a wasted trip for most of us. You saved some time & gas bro!

On a serious note, it really sucks about the contrast between the one that Jason attended, and one M-Power and his friends cleaned up approximately 25% of the available Treasure Hunts in North America. For me, there is another K-Mart in range. If there will be another in November, I'll try that one, and hope for better outcome(this could blow up in my face, actually). 👍

Hehe, well maybe Kmarts will come to Canada one day, I know all our Zellers are becoming Targets soon. I do hope they sell HW there, in Zellers they always have a few good ones.
