I'm going to post a pic of the receipt as well because the prices were UNBELIEVABLE

AWESOME. I love many of these underrated brands, they have some pretty cool castings. I also have the Playart tow truck but almost mint, and my Batmobile is also lacking Batman and Robin. And that Corgi thing alongside the Jamed Bond Lotus is awesome.

Also, I love the Matchbox street freakish Fox Mustang with jumbo rears and half an engine poking out.

hahaha, damn you. Let us see!

Got back from my first ever time at Walmart about an hour ago. The 3 nearest Walmart's are about 30-45 minutes away, so that explains it. But, wow was I pleased with their stock.

Grabbed some goodies. Took the only two VW Brasilia's (wanted one to open). The Copo Corvette and Firebird are Walmart exclusives. Also, another treasure hunt! The card is beat up pretty bad, but I never find T-Hunts, so I took it.

And I found the Coronet trunk logo variation.

Same here. I go there for two things: Ammunition for my guns & Hotwheels.

Dirt cheap on ammo's, and best selection of Hotwheels in .........not town, because I do have to drive there. :D

P.S. Nice Super Bee. 👍

Good to know I'm not the only one. I'm definitely going to try to drive there every weekend.

very nice grabs Wyvern, specially both loose cars, that Corgi thing is awesome. The Bond is also cool. And I didin't know the yellow 57 was so expensive.

M-Power, screw you. I want a Brasilia. NOW.

According to Southtexasdiecast the '57 Chevy is 4.00 loose and 15.00 carded. I paid 4.95 for one mint loose last year at an area toy shop, but only 1.19 for the carded one I bought today. Also, the Monster Jam for 1.19 was a deal because they were marked 3.89 and the girl even looked at the stickers on the back. They had three more that I'm going to buy on Monday.

The store just opened this week and in that time they gone from having three rows across/6 rows down and 5 rows deep of cars up to 8 rows across. I told the girl that they should go only diecast because that's were the money lies. He's buying estate lots for cheap and unknowingly passing amazing stuff onto customers.

He's even selling 2011 cars for just 83 cents a piece. Not sure how he's getting them cheap enough to turn a profit, but I dont care. Cars I would never find at Wal-mart unless I knew someone were just sitting on the hooks...it was unbelievable.

This week I should have 8-10 eBay wins being shipped. Most loose 90s and earlier HW and lesser known brands...EDIT Just Play art and Kenner...I lost out on the Yatming

Strike while iron is still...... or while the store is still open. They might not last very long.
Thanks!

I go there maybe every other month. I love going there, as I always come home with some kind of toys. :P

Everyone in Latin America want a Brasília, me included.

I haven't really seen anyone post these on HWC.com. Maybe more will surface as time goes on.

The following is a question towards anyone who's found one so far (I think two others were posted in this thread). Have you seen many of them on the pegs? Or very few?

I bought 4 two days ago.

1 to open, 1 to keep and 2 for, well, I don't know what.

If anyone who wants them can get me 2 easter special VW Beetle Cup Cars, I'll trade.👍

Edit: I might have 3 spare actually. 1 is on a long card.

Hmm, I guess they probably will be common. Did come out not too long ago, as well.

It's a nice casting IMO. I'm a fan of simple cars with little to no decals/tampos.

hahahah I'd rather have your white Torino... but NOT for my collection :dunce:

You don't know what you're missing. :P

I actually wouldn't mind trading the Torino and/or any of the other redlines or blackwalls, too old for me, haha. How much do these usually go for? Says $125 loose for a mint one on SouthTexasDiecast.com, but I'm guessing mine is not even worth half of that. Shoot me a PM if you wanna talk about it some more.

I have basically no knowledge of any Hot Wheels before the 90's TBH. :D

Me too. When I look for cars...the fewer decals, the better. I have trouble with the Leo HW and those made in/for the French and Mexican market.

Was over at my moms for Mothers Day and found the following. I'm going to go through them for rare wheel variations...other than that its off to the show boxes I think. Quite Dusty

Found a few color changers and decided to show Hot - Cold pics

UPDATE: I've found three variations I didnt have. The Green Jaguar XJ220 has 7SP while I now have both the open and closed spoiler versions of the Silver XJ220!

Don't worry, even we mexicans have problems some times recognizing Mexico-made cars, they have some unique characteristics, but you haave to be a walking Encarta to know about some of those sometimes.

Awesome little boxes!!!! pretty cool to have just found them lying around. I'd gladly bring back to life many of those in the last picture. Also, can I have the blue Yatming in the first pic? :dopey:

The colour changers brought back some childhood memories 👍 I had the Camaro and the Funny Car. Also notice you have the 1998 First Editions Charger Daytona, but just like mine, out of the blister :indiff: What is it worth? It and the General Mills Mail Order one, the orange one with 7SP's?

@Nurburgthing vid: I may be twice+ that kids age, but I'd be just as excited to see a car clear the fence hole.

@Jetboy: That First Edition daytona has tan interior w/gold 7sp so its a few bucks loose. If you find one with BLACK interior, its $20+ loose all day long.

And Now so more pics. eBay Wins started arriving and some random 80s loose

Dug through my brother's room and mine. Found ALOT of hotwheels, matchbox and other assorted stuff (LOTS of NASCAR's and other Stock Cars). Will post up pictures.

Wanted to find my Red Baron car but couldn't. I think I lost it forever and I am sad... it was original but out of the box. Only the new stuff is in the box but I may take them out. I don't know for sure. Anyways, getting the camera now.

Okay, so the camera died before I could really photograph my collection, but I did manage to get pics of all of my recent purchases and all of the stuff I dug up today.

If you have any questions on any of the cars, shoot them to me and I'll take more pictures if need be and try my best to answer.

The oldies. Mostly '80's and '90's.
What's here:
Chrome Porsche Carrera
Red Shelby Cobra
Red Porsche 928 with 928 Turbo livery
Red Porsche 959
Red '35(?) Ford Hot Rod
Neon Pink Indy Car
Neon Pink Ferrari 348
Red Corvette Stingray with worn orange/yellow livery
Silver Ferrari 308
Good Humor Truck
Poor condition textured Silver Porsche 959
Green '82 Celica Supra
Purple Vector
Orange Trans-Am with Purplish Pink Lightning bolt livery
Turquoise '57 Hot Rodded Bel-Air with graphics
Yellow '57 Hot Rodded Bel-Air
Brown Chevy Cavalier(?)
Yellow Miata with pink interior
Yellow Beach-Patrol S10
Sparkly-Black Cadillac Limo
Brown-Red Lexus SC
Purple Custom Mercury with yellow flames
Shark-Mobile
Pinkish-Textured Silver Bullet
Yellow Dinosaur Car

There are also six cars I cannot identify:
Lifted Suzuki Samurai-looking vehicle
Red hot rod with coffin body and over-all vampire looking theme
An old '30's era Blue coupe
A red '30's-'40's era convertible
A yellow hot rod with red flames
and lastly a car that has a hot rod on one side and a race car on the other. When you flip it over the seats rise and fall. Blue on one side and white on the other. You can see it on the far left sitting just next to the purple Vector.
P1010442.jpg

Some newer work-horses. The school bus is the oldest of the group I believe.
P1010444.jpg

Some newer cars (late '90's and early '00's I'd say)
P1010446.jpg

Some assorted cars I pulled out, they include:
Mojorette(?) Peugeot 604 Sedan
Matchbox Coca-Cola Van
Matchbox Camaro Police Car
Matchbox Escort Rally Car
Matchbox Corvette Race car
2x Racing Champions Indy Cars
2x Galaxy 500 Stock Cars of unknown origin RCCA is what's on the bottom.
Johnny Lightning Dodge Pickup
Johnny Lightning Hummer Ambulance
Racing Champions F-350
P1010448.jpg

Some more recent hotwheels, some of them only a few years old. There is an older Red Trans-Am Mustang in the mix though. The Mercedes SLK is also a bit older.
P1010453.jpg

Only a very, very small percentage of the NASCAR stock cars I bothered pulling out. The Lucky Charms Corvette was given out by the Cheerios NASCAR team from... maybe ten years ago. They were tossing them from the window of the truck to all the kids standing around as the teams left the track. The #27 McDonalds Ford says it's a Hotwheels make... but something just doesn't seem right about it. The #11 Ford is also a Hot Wheels make. I have the matching #43 and #12 cars to go with their respective tool-boxes too.
P1010450.jpg

A Transformer!
P1010451.jpg

P1010452.jpg

Annnd the new stuff. Volkswagens!
P1010454.jpg

American-made! (Note: I only have one gold Chevelle, it's just a camera-whore apparently.)
P1010456.jpg

P1010458.jpg

European sports cars and hot-hatches.
P1010460.jpg

And lastly, some race cars, a concept by hot wheels working with Mitsubishi and Twin Mill 3. Hmmm.. which reminds me I didn't find ANY of my Twin-Mill 2's whilst looking around.
P1010461.jpg

I'm going to fetch some batteries to snap more shots of the rest of my "personal" collection.
