And upside down! :dopey:

I have one of those, too. Really cool of Matchbox to sell them today. I also have one from when I was a toddler(70's), but for the life of me, I can not find it. :ouch:

So i went to Toys R Us at like the perfect time....

hw3ja.jpg

The bill came to a total of $30; most I've ever spent on these things in one day.

hw301.jpg

Cougar, Genesis, M3, Murcielago (Speed Machines).

hw302.jpg

Silvia, Challenger Drift Car, Yur Too Fast.

hw303.jpg

"Ferrari-5", not "Ferrari Five"..

hw304.jpg

I already have the red one, saw a yellow, then saw a blue, so I figured, why not?

hw305.jpg

This made my day. There were 2 RED Enzos and 3 GT3 in stock...like a dream come true.

Those are some nice selections you collected, but personally, for me, it's a good thing you didn't find the Hakosuka, because if you did, if you did. . .

I've been to Toys R Us once, since finding that one Hakosuka from that initial shipment. Only odd find was the S15 Silvia. I love the car, but I couldn't get over the ugly (aero)kits, and it was riced up in not very pleasant way. Damn shame. I looked for the blue Nova(late 60-ish), too. I have the green one, so I passed on the blue the last time. Changed my mind, but I couldn't find it anymore. :ouch:

then I'll go to toys r us and buy five
last time I was there I saw 6

Do. Want. I already have the M3, but the other 3, especially the Murc (both the Decades SV and the Speed Machines one I've been searching for in much the same way you have with the red Enzo) ... I'm jealous.

hw302.jpg

Silvia, Challenger Drift Car, Yur Too Fast.

When I went to Toys 'R' Us last time they had all 3 colors of the Challenger Drift Car (red, green, blue). I would have grabbed a blue one if I had had more money. But I just got $40 from playing a gig at a local restaurant/bar/cafe so I see another Toys 'R' Us trip in my near future!

"Ferrari-5", not "Ferrari Five"..

I've been debating with myself whether or not to get this for some time now... :banghead:

You think you're cool with 5, don't ya? Well, my birthday is coming up, I can get tons. :P And I only missed them because I was late, I could have gone earlier and snatched all. . .

@AOS- I'll. . . I'll. . . Buy it from you! 💡

If you're picky about quality, you'll notice that the Ferrari packs tend to have funny features... in both of the Ferrari packs I purchased, the car sitting at the top will have a messed up suspension system where the front wheels sit further from the body making the car sitting up on a slant.

@Ryousuke, bahaha good response!

@AOS-: I am jelly. I coulda sworn I had that S15 though, just in a maroon color with its black hood stubbornly chipped away to become maroon again. And I thought that Genesis was an LFA.

Got this tonight. A Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe.

Thinking of removing it from the blister pack because the packaging was abused enough. Nothing special in the toy store I bought this from, only some of the classics such as this and the '69 Camaro.

Nice, I haven't seen any Classics around here. Would've definitely picked that up, myself!

Well I got that simply because nothing eye-catching's in store in the toy shop I bought the Shelby from. I saw that blue Triumph thing that looks like a Caterham, that can wait though, and my budget's a bit too tight now. There was once a '62 Mustang Concept, but it was taken away though. :grumpy:

Damn it. I went grocery shopping today, and I found the four-sided cardboard display there, but with all the good stuff already picked out. I've been looking for more Hakosuka, so I was bit disappointed.

I did pick up this old Dodge.

Along with older Chevy Astros, it's my favorite van. I'm weird.

I have the 2008 version of that
it was behind a bunch of 2010 and 2011 stuff
Nice.

My only encounter like that was 1999 Matchbox Mustang Convertible('99 according to Google, can't remember for sure) that I found, right on the same hook with the new line up, except this was either earlier this year, or just last year. I thought the packaging looked beat up.

2008 & 2011 Dodge Van cast looks the same. I wish they were bit more realistic, as I really like the van in real life, but I like both year models just the same. Cool little hot wheels. 👍

"Treasure Hunts" are worth about 10 USD in Re-sale, but only ~$1.00 in stores:D

*And now my pride and joy:

All 3 are treasure hunts, and My dad and I have compiled every single one in the local Bay area since 2003:D:D:D:D:D

My dad has this somwhere...

Locked up in some secret crevace of our house somewhere...he says that it's worth 100 USD!

But that's nothing compared to this:

This car, in a transparent/blue body is worth 600+USD a piece, According to experts. And there are only 3 made. My dad has all of them!

Depends on the car, also the age and if it has variations, etc. Most basic treasure hunts now days are worth about $10, but some older versions ('67 Camaro) are worth several hundred dollars.

+1

Even most regular hunts now don't reach $10. Usually, only $uper T-Hunts go for $10+. I won an eBay lot with four different regular hunts from this year and it was $11 w/shipping included. Should arrive today actually, so I'll post them up later.

Also, I just shipped out two Mustang errors that I'm trading for two BMW M3 wheel errors. Very excited to see them in person! I'll show you guys when they come in. :)

I saw a few of those '77 Chevy Vans, but I was contemplating whether or not I really wanted it or if I'll still like it in the future... so I didn't buy it.

In any case, I wanted to show off my progress on my Seacrest County PD Police Liveries. I think I've discovered a really good painting technique with the gouache I have... check out that Gallardo (that was once yellow).

If you don't have a clue what I'm getting at with this project, find the cars you see above in this list: http://hotpursuit.needforspeed.com/game-info/cars

Pretty cool project!

BTW guys, here are the four regular hunts I mentioned earlier. The Mustang and Riviera are for trades. Keeping the other two.

How rare are those things anyway? I think I might have seen the T-Bird before, but that could've been in this thread. I don't think I ever recall seeing any Treasure Hunt cars at stores.
