I think the real life car is lame, but the minicar is neat

I keep saying this about Hot Wheel's Impala and T-Bird every so often.

Let me show you why I like this Monoposto casting:

These definitely need headlights, so not long after these photos were taken, I had done just that. Photos tomorrow along with another sweet grab.

Yes, it's insane. I do have a lot of stuff hosted there, but even so I cannot see how in the hell I would burn 10 gb per month of bandwhidth. It's just absurd. I mean I don't think 50 people per monthgo back through all the pages in this thread nor in the "Did you see anything good today" thread.

But now hearing you say that you onlt have like 7% of storage usage and you still suffer from this crap, well, it's clear thaat it's just something Photobucket shoves up yours -and mine- to make you go "omfg no now I need premium". Stupid service. To Flickr, will ya?

I think I'll be going after the Collector's Chevelle, and just to have the whole series, I'll go after the other Collector's mail-in cars too.

Just figured out that blue Datsun 620 pickup is not a standard recolor, it's a KMart days exclusive color. The real recolor is this one:

So if you want the blue one you'll have to go to the Kdays event on the 15th of February, or get one off eBay. (or beg me to get one for you)

Nice recolor, but I've got my eyes on the orange 620.

You would think that would be the reason, but no. Just personally think it looks a lot nicer than the Blue Kdays version. The Bronze MC5's(?) especially go well with the Red.👍

I didn't realize the limit was two tier. I don't post much, so I doubt I'll hit the limit, but their consistently glitchy website will force a move for me pretty soon.

What do you do to earn a self-imposed ban!? Ditto on the Chevelle. Pretty nice. I could never find 20 mainlines though, all from one store, so I don't even try. I just received the mail-in School Busted tonight, but I think I paid about $13 for it(too lazy to even open it right now).

I would agree with you but then we'd both be wrong.

Actually one thing I think we can agree on is that Tomica need to make this. (Vintage range of course) I'd buy one in a heartbeat. It's just one of those quirky retro odd ball cars that really peaks my interest.

That blue is cracking. And if I remember correctly, i'ts one of the few HW paints with a "clearcoat" over it, so you can fully use acetone on it to remove tampos.

Did you check out eBay? Looks TLV, along with Konami or somebody made decent looking coupes, but not the hatch back we drooled over in the car thread. Yes, I totally agree that TLV needs to recreate that baby blue hatch, maybe with a roof rack.

I was really hoping that R34 would have real riders next time I saw it. I'm so bored of that one with same ole' plastic wheels.

You shopping for the wrong brand, son! I'm down for the R34. Between the R32 and R34, I decided to stop the R32 and continue collecting the R34s. I made a good decision.

Here's my story for the week: Item said "new condition", "brand new sealed", "bent card". Never mind the bend, does this look sealed and new to you?

That's only 2 of 6 photos taken. Admittedly I don't mind it going loose, but hell, I put down $15 for a "brand new sealed and bent card", not this. I'm not unhappy I didn't get what I want, I'm unhappy the seller wasn't honest-and I can prove to you it was unhonesty, based on probability:

1)The card was shipped in a parcel. Parcel came uncrushed, therefore, no damage could've been done.

2)The card was wrapped in a plastic bag inside the parcel. The blister can't shift itself loose off the card.

3)The card was also put inside a protecto-pak. Definitely no way the blister could've shook itself loose.

4)Upon inspecting the card more closely, one of the tears, one bit of the card that's stuck to the blister can be seen in the listing. It has been well-disguised, but the truth doesn't lie.
