I'm not expecting anything, but I for one am tired of mainline recolor of this casting. I think it should've been a Boulevard release, and now that's not possible, maybe as Brian's R34 GT-R(F&F/Retro Entertainment)? And they should ship the case with 80% this Skyline, because scalpers will clean them up in a flash.
I've been finding the current release everywhere (black) so I don't think the blue one will be any harder to find.

Edit: @AOS- SA22C, license plate above the bumper is ~'79-80.

I think I screwed up my link thingy :ouch:. This would be the right place: http://www.southtexasdiecast.com/hwguide/bonus.html :)

You can tell I've started doing links that are not the full URL only today.
It says '96~'12. You were trying to link the current year, right?
Nah, Shinji-man. Can't do it. Gotta keep the tote-filling on the low!
Boo...

Not the blue mainline, I was slamming that one. If they ever made F&F R34 Retro Entertainment, I said they should fill the case with them, because they'll disappear as soon as they hit the pegs!

I thought about selling mine as I could really use that money to get my 1:1 car on the road. Problem is I still want the car for my collection. Should have bought two! :ouch:

I think this is a collectible item you put away for while. You may see some up & down as far as value go, but the upside....... long term.........

Stayed up til CNY all to work on ma bloggggg. But boring stuff aside, get a first and last look at this Muscle Machines' 69 Blown Camaro before I paint it blue:

This was slated for a custom before I even bought it. Too bad. Also, I honestly don't find orange to look that great on this cartoony shaped body.

'67 Blown Nova.

Knew you'd say that. In an odd way I kind of like the Nova the way it is. I was planning to paint the Camaro to give to a friend who loves the '69 model and paint the Nova for myself, but she hasn't responded back, so I guess they're both mine.

@Gotbeefboy564 just keep it in there unless you're dying to get more C7s that you can't find.

Lol, I also like the Pro Street-style tequila-and-Oreo binge-paint scheme on the Nova, it smacks late 80s/early 90s:

So I was notified that the autographed BRE Datsun that sold yesterday for $260 was re-listed, I guess the guy has a few of them to sell. Anyway, he's trying to sell his last one for $300 Buy it Now. Think he's getting a bit greedy.

Anyway, in his description it says that he was notified by BRE through email that the cars will ship on Monday. 👍

Picked up a Richard Petty NASCAR car and HW firebird Funny Car from a thrift store (and GT3: A-Spec :D, but that's another section of the site), and then stopped at a dollar store where I found some amazing MB cars.

No, just the Quarterly cars to give you an idea of what cars I was talking about. 👍

'67 Blown Nova.
Those are amazing!

EDIT: Holy crap, I actually got more MBs than HWs. That's rarer than a blue moon. :boggled:

EDIT Part II: My camera is charging, so no pictures yet. :indiff:

EDIT Part III: My camera is done charging, pictures currently being uploaded to TinyPic. :)

I found two the other one I opened didn't have a mark on it.

Finally was able to get to to the Reject shop and scored some Boulevard's, pegs were pretty bare but at least I was able to get a Beetle and a '57 Chev which were among the ones I really wanted. Big thanks again to @zakyta_4 again for the heads up on these. 👍

And forgot to post these Sunburnerz things I also picked up at the Reject shop a couple of weeks back. :dunce:

So here are the cars I got today:

This Richard Petty car could be in better condition, but its still The King.

Interesting story about this Firebird F/C: Even though the car is based on the '90s Firebird, the copyright year on the base is 1977. :odd:

Part one of my MBs. BMW 1M, Porsche Cayenne, Audi R8. I love the R8.

Part 2 here. Dodge Challenger SRT8, 1957 Chevy Bel Air Convertible, and Mini Cooper Convertible. I might buy a second Challenger for detailing, but haven't decided on it yet.

If you guys want any closer looks, just let me know.

I love that R8, too. 👍
I HATED the paint job on the Oldsmobile, but the stance look really, really good in this pic. 👍 If I ever see one in stores, I'm gonna have to look at it closely, see if I want one(yes, I do). I can always paint it. I should start wheel swapping by 2015, so I may die before I actually get into painting hot wheels.

Scratch that, just got my shipping notification. :)
Can I borrow yours until I get my confirmation? I'm just kidding, I'm sure mine will ship Monday. If it doesn't though, can I borrow it?

:P

Anyone out there know where I can find 2013 Boulevard cars in physical, you-can-walk-in-them stores? I've yet to find even one at any of my local stores. That's kinda odd, since I found all my 2012 Boulevards at every local store that had them. Actually, not all, because some I'm still looking for.

Stores around my area dropped the ball on Boulevards early. I think the last good cars I found in stores were Datsun Bluebird wagon, Subaru BRAT, Olds Cutlass, Chevy Astro, etc., not sure if they were early 2013, or late 2012 models. Never saw Long Gone, and I don't think I ever saw CRX.

On not that related note, I'm going near couple of stores out of the area, so I hope to get lucky picking up a few cars!

Richard Petty stockcar is a nice score Johnny. Like the Matchbox SRT8 Challenger too, picked one myself up a few weeks back. Neat casting. 👍

I wish I had a shirt that said "Keep calm and hunt" and the TH logo rather than the crown and "Keep calm and...".

Thanks, Spacegoat! The base of the casting only says "PIT ROW" and "MADE IN CHINA" so it's a little obscure
