Then go to Kit Kringle and get them. ;)

Okay. :indiff:

Also XB Falcon recolour. Wasn't too sure about this at first but I think it's going to look ten times better in person.

Been sick this week. Ugh. Went to two wal-marts and a Target today. No E-case cars in sight. 1 WM has two full dump bins already. No idea when we will get new stuff.

I did buy a car from the dump bin though. A 32 Ford Vicky from 2002:lol:

My lastest finds from TRU... Morris Mini from Italian JobView attachment 109371

Nice, still just the blue ones around here :(

Well I certainly had a good and rather lucky day today! :D

Went in Kit Kringle, found a somewhat overwhelming number of Treasure Hunts in there! Here are some pictures I took with my new IPod Touch I got recently:

Here is close up of them, although I forgot to get the Subaru in the picture :ouch: :

Sorry for the sideways shot. :ouch:

Here are the ones I bought:

Would have bought more, but they were $4 each. :scared:

Here some other Hot Wheels I got there as well:

Really digging that Hot Hubs Suzuki QuadRacer. :D

Just when when I thought my luck couldn't get any better, found this at Wal Mart :dopey: :

Glad I didn't buy it at Kit Kringle. Instead of paying $4.00 for it at Kit Kringle, I got it for .97 cent at Wal Mart! :D

And here are 2 Viper's I got at Fred's:

Got a can GTS Blue Pearl at Hobby Lobby and going to paint one of them with it and give it white stripes! :dopey:

If only there was some...function...some way to....rotate pictures....

:D Nice finds, I have two of those Tyrrells, good job picking it up. Probably the best recent reg-TH in awhile. To me.

That sucks for Jarrod. I'm still debating if I should go or not. Play by ear.
Well, sorry for the disappointment with the Drag Bus, but at least its still a Color Shifter. I guess.
No, I'm glad you told me before I tried showing it off to my nephew. :D:tup:

I've passed on like three of them, but they just don't do it for me!

Not sure if you know, but that's a KMart exclusive color for the collector day. :)

Had a feeling that was the case when I posted it. Oh well not terribly concerned about missing out on it, my XB collection is fairly incomplete anyway. (missing the first editions, all the $upers and both garage series versions)

Found these tonight when I stopped at a Walmart I had never been to. I think this pretty much makes the all large wheel Scion FR-S a variation officially. And the Datsun is only Nekid on one side. :(

I had to google the copper one you mentioned earlier, but is it the red one you are also missing? That one's better than the Super Treasure IMO(painted headlights, too).

Been watching this thread for a while now. I am in the process of moving, and before i packed everything away i took some pics.I have a few rare or hard to find cars in my collection, but i usually just buy what i like. At the height of my collecting (addiction) i had roughly 5000 cars in my collection (maybe more, i lost count). I had no choice but to down size a few years ago, so now i'm Left with just a couple thousand of my favorites. Anyway hope you enjoy the pics;-).

Haha those pictures were uploaded from my Ipod and I didn't know how to rotate them (I haven't had my IPod long). I have heard some pictures on here end up rotated when uploaded for some reason as well.

Thank you Dwight! :) That Tyrell is definitely one of a kind. 👍 I love it! :D I certainly will be going back to Kit Kringle to get more treasure hunts again soon. ;) I must get that Fiesta!

Yep that one too. Didn't realise there were two of them in that series.

I sure did. Quite a collection you have there.👍

Porn! Porn! Somebody call the Mods!

You also need to come over & clean up the drool on my keyboard.

Really nice cars, and really like your taste in those diecasts. 👍

That Tyrell's one of the handful TH I ever found. I like the regular one better though. :P On the pic rotating, we'll have to google that. I never figured out the "why".

P.S. I hit "like" by accident, you can keep that.

Come to think of it, I think the red one was Walmart box set exclusive. I have two, but one of them I need to sell as part of the lot on eBay, or I'd have just given it to you(of course, shipping is a whole other matter!). On TTP & eBay, I sometime come across those for pretty reasonable prices. Probably collectors just like me, breaking up sets.

While we are on the topic of eBay: @commodoreben, would you be interested in buying another lot? I'm just now trying to put together the cars I want to move, and have started to list a handful on eBay. If interested, let me know & we can work out the detail & discount later. :)

Ah, that's probably why I wasn't aware of the Red version. 👍 Have to agree it's a pretty sweet looking thing.

I much prefer the "given" part. :embarrassed:

Don't know if this was already talked about or not, but here's the Series 13 lineup for HWC this year:

  • Neo-Classics '58 Plymouth Belvedere
  • Neo-Classics '64 Dodge 330
  • Neo-Classics '64 GMC Panel
  • Neo-Classics Olds 442 Staff Car
  • Real Riders '83 Chevy Silverado 4x4
  • Real Riders Breakaway Bucket
  • Real Riders Thunder Roller
  • Real Riders Haul of Flame

I actually had to look up Haul of Flame, hadn't heard of it before. If I recall, I read one of the designers say on the forums that there would be a Texas Drive 'Em this year. Of course no telling what non-series cars they will do this year. The best stuff last year ended, for me, was the non-series stuff by far - Datsuns (both!), gran torino, Gulf set.

RLC previewed the Silverado and it looks fantastic. Simple era-correct design. We have been asked not to show the images, but I am sure T-Hunted will show it this week. Instant sellout for sure.

Have you bought much from U.S. sellers? I wonder how much a couple of loose cars cost in shipping to Australia.... Don't get your hopes up though, I don't have an extra one at the moment. :D

List didn't really impress me(Neo-Classics does nothing for me, which doesn't help), but I'm still gonna join to see what else they'll come up with. Haul of Flame looks interesting. I had to google the Gran Torino, but that is sweet man. 👍

Haven't actually, the stuff I buy tends to come from either here or Hong Kong.
I wonder how much a couple of loose cars cost in shipping to Australia....

I sent a couple of carded Cars of the Decades Lambo's to Andy last year. IIRC shipping was only like $12-$13 for the small box I packaged them in. Imagine it would pretty much the same deal from 'Murica to here.
Don't get your hopes up though, I don't have an extra one at the moment. :D

It's cool, I've already got the best XB Falcon there is anyway. :P

Anyway, the month is over, @a6m5 @Cano. Let's tally up how much we've got in the month of January. Here's mine:

47 cars. 44 if we exclude the cars I modded or will mod.

Dude, I picked up 52 cars in one weekend, including what is most likely the best, most valiable car in my entire collection. The the next weekend I picked up about 35, and so on. And I'm not even counting the supermarket trash and the several quick fleamarket stops grabs that should tally up to a good 20 cars over the month.

Dang. Will forge my own eventually if I have too. Also, what was the car other than the All Stars Ford Focus in the trade?

Dude, I picked up 52 cars in one weekend

Ooh. Better work on that for the next couple of months!

Ooh. Better work on that for the next couple of months!

granted, it was a completely extraordinary weekend with all of these being 35-45 year-old mint cars for like $3 each so that's unlikely to happen again, specially soon since I still owe money to the home income after buying all of those  now I need to sell stuff to pay for these, but yeah, totally worth it. You would have probably beaten me in sheer numbers if it wasn't for that.

I already took pics of all of them and opened a new Flickr account so Crappobucket won't be anuisance ever again, so they should be showing up in here soon enough.

I'm now working on photographing all my Treasure Hunts. It will take a while, so while I'm sitting here wearing my Wayne Gretzky jersey and working with Hot Wheels, take a look at this price guide I found. The values, I'm guessing, have several factors to them, including rarity. Nothing is given on where the values come from, but there is a "Contact Us" link. The link for the guide is at the bottom of this post. And if the cars really aren't worth that much, then 99% of my cars are not going up for sale anytime soon. The guide also has an eBay feed.

The link: http://www.hallsguide.com/

:)

EDIT: Photography session has been completed, and the pictures are going to Tinypic.

@ Ryou - Hah! You finally caught that post, did you? Yes, I remember that incident; how can one forget such serendipitous moments?

@ TinZman - Guess you felt it was time to come out of the closet - nice collection. welcome to the discussion and hope to see more of you in here. :)

Spaaaaaaace!!! Stop acting the goat! :D Look - horizontal, vertical - it's all a matter of POV.
