including what is most likely the best, most valiable car in my entire collection.

I know you a busy guy Cano but you can't proclaim something like that and then not provide us with any pictures. You tease.

Edit: Just saw your other post. Looking forward to the pics. đź‘Ť
Spaaaaaaace!!! Stop acting the goat! :D Look - horizontal, vertical - it's all a matter of POV.

Whatever.

Good to hear from you Harry đź‘Ť, been awhile since your last post here.

Okay, so I got sidetracked, but here are my T-Hunts, not a single one bought on the secondary market. Special thanks to my friend Cole for the Carbonator. Big post warning.

These next two are not T-Hunts, but I keep them with the THs since they are of the same quality. Picked up for a total of $5.

I'm now working on totaling up the TH values from Hall's Guide. I'm curious to see how much I've got, even though none will be sold at the current time.

I might be going on a treasure hunt tomorrow, if you guys know what I mean. :sly:
After all the time that I've been buying hot wheel I haven't seen one treasure hunt ugh.
It took me about a year or two, maybe three of being a Hot Wheels Collector before I found my first Treasure Hunt. It was quite an awesome feeling, and was well worth the wait. Your time to find a TH will come. It may just take you a second or third look at the pegs before you find one, like my '67 Camaro, but your time will come. :)đź‘Ť

Silly question, but how do you know if they are TH's? I know the older ones say it on the cards.
Do they post them on a site somewhere?

One car:

AutoWorld 1965 Ford GT40

I sent a couple of carded Cars of the Decades Lambo's to Andy last year. IIRC shipping was only like $12-$13 for the small box I packaged them in. Imagine it would pretty much the same deal from 'Murica to here.
$12~$13's high..... but it is international.
It's cool, I've already got the best XB Falcon there is anyway. :P
That true. đź‘Ť
Sweet '56 Merc. đź‘Ť
not a single one bought on the secondary market.
THs are a bit overrated. The ones now are anyway.
Rare wheel variations > treasure hunts.
Andy's speaking Canadian & Jason..... I don't know what his problem is. j/k

I tend to agree that TH's are not what it once was. Having said that, I've seen pics of the Gasser Chevy Super Treasure Hunt, and I WANT ITIT.
Rare wheel variations > treasure hunts.
Come on now.....

As Got Beef posted, they have flame logo on the hidden standard treasure hunts. Super TH's, they of course have rubber tires.

You know you are Nissan fanboy when you pick a little toy-looking Nissan racer over highly detailed Porsche.

Though at the end of the day, I'd drive a Porsche 911... I love Porsches as much as those mooing fighting bulls.

About time! :P
I know I know, I just didn't want to overpay & I do appreciate the tip on the car. I didn't even know it existed. I finally paid $7.65 on eBay after not being able to find one locally(paid only $1.66 more!!!).
Truth. Wheel variants are more rare, so IMHO = more valuable. They just don't pull as much value in the secondary market because the general public is stupid.
That is so weird, because general public is stupid. Except in this case.

:P

Between the race car & 911, I'd take the race car. As the daily driver. Seriously though, I was talking about me, calling myself a Nissan fanboy. :D Edit: Who makes the Nissan?

Yes, the Belvedere could be awesome. The rest of the bunch I'd have to see pics of first.

The casting on its own is done so well I don't even mind if it has RL wheels on it. If the colour scheme is simple, doesn't have silly tampos, and I find a second one for cheap, I'd swap the wheels on it even.

Are you guys getting the latest Belvedere by M2? It's nice. :embarrassed:

Jason - Where's the B.S. other than the fact it's fugly?

RLC car with a plastic base? Nope. Also, that car was re-tooled to ditch the plastic wing. And the paint looks like a spray can job. Straight up BS.

The thing looks like a custom to me.

You take the 2013 Skyline in red, swap wheels, repaint body but don't touch the wing. Reassemble, and profit.

BS is right, but that Singaporean is probably broke and needs money. Let the loser win that auction. Rob Peter for Paul :P

Also, don't tempt me with those M2 Belvederes. Just don't. My wallet isn't going to like me for that.

I think it'll pass as a early test model, and after checking his feedback, I think he's legit. Legit, but also a criminal. He's selling bunch of Super Treasure Hunt & other cars that he claims are pre-production from Singapore. My guess would be that the guy is a insider, or has connection to one.

I used to report stuff like this to that email address Mattel ask you to report to, but I have received zero confirmation that they even received those emails from me, so I don't bother with them anymore.

Why?

Also, I just saw the new Ford pickup they've been working on on their website. I. Am. Stoked!

Andy has it right, the red wing is a dead giveaway to a fake. And like I said, they retooled the car to have a metal wing that is part of the car. No way they would backtrack to an old casting to make an RLC release.

And I already reported it.

Okay, I've been buying cars for my son and daughter (admittedly, I'll suggest items I wouldn't mind rolling around) for a few years now. My son picked out a couple of Muscle cars, a five-pack last week at Target. This was one of the cars:

It's all plastic, top to bottom. The "glass" is opaque black plastic, so there's no interior detail. And the way it seems to be put together is really shoddy...admittedly, I'm more disappointed than he is. I don't expect full metal cars for the money (around $1 each); since he misplaces and drop them frequently, I prefer plastic floorpans. But I don't like where this is going...is it a new trend for Hot Wheels and Matchbox?

The other four cars were metal bodies. That said, the green Pontiac GTO in that set looks and feels great, and has a nice balance to it.

Mattel cuts corners to save money all the time. Removing features from cars left and right. Wouldn't say I'm surprised to see that.
