I'm not sure what you paid, but I'm certain the Tatoo machines Talbot Lago was a score. The yellow wind splitter / BMW M3 and the black w/UH Vampyria are the the other two cars I'm missing that I need. Is the porsche a getty promo?

=====================================================================================================

Side note: Not to take anything away from this haul (because it is great) but an eBay lot has just arrived. 79 cars and well it is UNBELIEVABLE. Cano you are not going to believe the cars I stole for $60. Lets just say he took top down photos and turns out 6 of the cars were real riders. Oh and two more words. Brown Hotbird!!!! He didnt include it in any photo. He said 50+ cars and only showed about 40 in the photo. The rest were surprises!!

BROWN HOTBIRD!!!! I nearly cried in excitement when I unwrapped it and went....hmmm this couldnt be a...OMG it is!

I'll put up pics later including a nice close up of an impeccable 80s Schaper Five Winders Car in working condition. They go for $12-15 just as parts cars and mine works. Plus its a model I have not seen in research.

Anyway, thank you to middle men ebay sellers. I love when I read..."this came from an estate." That means they bought on margin...on hopes we no really inkling of value. Thank goodness he took only a couple pictures and said the rest were okay as well.

"BROWN HOTBIRD!!!!"

I thought it was some kind of slang.

I thought I got super lucky in the grocery store today, but it was quite the opposite. I see brand new four-sided box thing, so I got excit........... wait. While the display seems full, there are few lying loose on top of the display. At that point, I knew I wasn't gonna find any Treasure Hunts, but I looked through the whole damn thing, hoping to find the A-Team Van. What I found was literally about 10 Back to the Future Cars. I really wanted those, like, couple of months ago.

I did pick up a yellow '10 Shelby Super Snake + Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggeraaergeage. Nice looking models!

Very good grabs M-Power!!! Therer are some unnusual cars in there, that Porsche... I don't even recall it in tht color. Color Changer?

If I ever get around to make repros of the Duesy's top, I'll for sure mail you one.

Oh come on...so you got six RRs without even knowing they were RRs?

Intresting. PICS. NOW.

Really jealous of you all. I wish I could find any of this older stuff anywhere in Australia. There isn't a strong collector community.

Spewing also that I even have some of the stuff shown in m power's last post. (zender, vw bug, gleamer car (can't remember its name), diablo and the one in the bottom right

I knew a couple were because of the colors of the Scrambler, Lightning Gold and Pavement Rounder. The Cobra, Baja Bug and Rescue Ranger could have been regular or RRs...and they were RRs. I was hysterical. I will get pics up tonight after a race I have at 9 CST

They all came in a lot of 72 cars, at $39. Many Yatming cars as well, but I haven't gotten around to taking a photo. Forgot to mention that in my last post.

The Porsche is a Color Changers car, I think. Has "300 H.P." and "TURBO" tampos on the hood/bonnet.

Did I do good? :)

And the Porsche does look like a Color Changers car, judging by the paint.

gleamer car (can't remember its name) and the one in the bottom right

I got you, homie. :P

The Gleam Team car is a Sheriff Patrol, though the packaging says Gleamer Patrol. And the other is a Sol-Aire CX-4.

Picture Update from my Big eBay score

IMG_0926.jpg

(2) Ertl Hardees Road Runner sets. These were in the original pictures.

IMG_0927.jpg

Some company called Computer associated has there name all over what would be 5 perfectly good early to mid 90s yatming cars.

IMG_0928.jpg

Superfast era Matchbox cars and an earlier Lesney Rolls Royce. These were in the original pictures

IMG_0930.jpg

IMG_0931.jpg

THE FIND OF THE LISTING BY FAR. BOTH OF THE HOT BIRDS ARE 1980 HONG KONG releases!!! Book mint value of the Brown Bird is $50+ while the Blue Bird is $40ish. The Brown was only available short run for the one year. The blue was releases again in '82 with a Malaysia base and then again over several years with both bases but GHO wheels. They are all worth >$5. These are the two Birds to own and the guy didnt even take a picture of them! Crazy

IMG_0929.jpg

IMG_0936.jpg

Late 80s Hot wheels. The red Peterbilt should have the cement mixer attached, but its broke. ( my fault when unpacking :( ) The Blue Peterbilt should have a dump attachment, but since I had the extra cement one...I made do.

IMG_0938.jpg

Some very nice late 80s/early 90s Matchbox. Any Matchbox with an exposed engine I like. I dont collect the rest, but they look nice in my Jammer cases.

IMG_0921.jpg

1980 Kenner Ripcord Racer by CPG Prodcuts. Another car I had to look up. This was another of the unpictured toss-ins and another item I had not seen before. Found one comparable online (unsold) and based on the asking price, this is probably a $5-7 car. 👍

IMG_0917.jpg

Late 80s Schaper Five Winders. An amazing find! Another car that could be easily missed! Schaper had Stompers selling very well. Heck, even the Happy Meal Stompers are collectible. Anyway, I'd never seen these before, so they must have been short ran and a complete hobby flop= value now!

================================================================================================

I'm feeling lazy at the moment, so later I'll add the specifics for each picture later. Again, these were the extras. The other 32 cars including real riders all in Minty condition (or the reason I bid) are in two 16 car wall hanging cases. I will post those later.

@A6M5--The Trans Am, Camaro and Continental Mark 4 in that picture are all Zee toys. I like them over the HW versions because of the durability of the models. Zee diecast are more detailed and of much better quality. Even though they have no real greater value over the HW equivalent...I'd take them any day. That gold Continental...one of the prettiest and nicest 1:64s I've ever had my hands on. The mold for the car includes the door handle, gas door, side lights, running lights, bumper w/guards, the buttons on the spare holder on the trunk lid are even pressed out. The door open and they're solid. Inside, the seats are textured, the steering column is present...heack there's a glove box on the passanger side mapped out. Just an amazing amount of detail for a car that would have cost virtually the same as a Lesney matchbox or HW of the time.

The Porsche is a Color Changers car, I think. Has "300 H.P." and "TURBO" tampos on the hood/bonnet.

I think its an Automagic color changer but dont hold me to it. :)

Ah, very good stuff, dude. I'm really liking the Yatmings from the second pics, that cop car is freaking mint. I also love Zee/Zylmex, they have an interesting array of models and they usually go along unnoticed, just like Playart.

MOAR PICS.

When you started talking about Lincoln Mark & these Zee cars(real nice, btw 👍 ), you just brought back something from my childhood memories, from unbelievably long ago.

One of the earliest Hot Wheels I ever had was a Lincoln Mark by Tomica. It looked just like this one. It would've been like the yellow one on the left.

Thanks for that, man. I'm gonna see if I can find one just like it. :D:tup: I just checked eBay. They have one, but it's a wrong color!

just saw this

to the Walmart!
and while I'm there I'll pick up the camera battery I needed so I can show you my Impreza and Ranchero I got

Interesting. Not sure about having EVERYTHING dyed the color..ie the exposed engine on the Twin Mill and masking would I'm sure be a pain, but for a beginner such as myself. This could be fun. Like dippin' easter eggs!

picked this up at walmart

I think these are my faves

my mom didn't let me get a jaded, a hot ones, a cougar eliminator, and a couple more good cars

Just updated my previous listing with some blurbs about the cars under each picture. I will update this listing with the final few pictures from my eBay win...the two vintage 16 car cases stocked with goodies from the mid to late 80s, the best era IMO for HW. Not crazy paint, just good ole fashioned daily drivers, work trucks, classics and race cars.

The Ebay Cases...Dun, Dun, Daaaa!
Pictures no fewer than 1 person is waiting to see :)

boss hoss cheered me up alot

wait WAT.

Now everybody is posting superstuff. WTF.

Wyvern, screw you. Those are amazing!!! I've never EVER seen the Cobra in red with RRs!!! awesome car! All other RRs are amazingly minty, too. Very ver good grabs. The basic wheel cars are also very good, I'm still behind with several of those.I'm particularly diggin' the 57 Chevy and Good Ol'l Pick 'em 'up.

and yes, all that stuff for 60 is a freaking steal. Did it come with the cases? if so, even worse. Amazing bud.

$miglo, those Matchbox Yesteryears are in aamazing shape!!! I also like the Corgi a lot. Good sunday.

And M-Power, AWESOME YATMINGS!!! I'll suggest you check out the green Citroen. Study it's detailing, you'll certainly come to the conclussion that it is one of the best die cast cars you've ever held in your hands, specially for the price these things sold at when new.

Man, I need to get up and going...

Yes, the cases came with the lot. I bid hoping the cars were good. The photos were top down and pretty grainy. As you can see...my hopes werent high enough. These are gorgeous!

yes, gorgeous indeed, you lucked out BIG TIME. I'ts the beauty of top-shot pictures, but it's also the risk... I once bought a top-shot lot and ended up with some pretty beat up cars, and some that were almost minty. It's part of the gamble.

It's been quite a while since I've posted here, so I figured I'd post what I'd bought since my last post (which I believe was the Tomicas). I might also stop the run of awesome posts with this, which is mainly just a bunch of 2011 cars seen here before many times (the pickings have been very lean over the past few months, and I still can't find that Caterham).

The two VW's were a gift to my uncle, who owns a Type 3 fastback.

Nice, A D1-Z:D Assuming it's of the higher Japanese quality, it likely has the rubber tyres.

What's the sponsor on the Z?

Yeah, it definitely has the rubber tires.

It's the ORC Z33 of 2004, driven by Izumida Yuuki.

Googled that and that's the 1:24 version of the Z I posted.
