The team is still known as Jordan, the cars are still known as EJ's, and Eddie Jordan still has a part in the team.

and thats all about left of what used to be jordan. the fun youthfulness of the team is now gone. the team hasnt got the same spirit that it used to. now they are just cars painted yellow that are trying to fend off minardi.

Monteiro is about 28, which IMO is pretty young to get in to Formula One, considering he started racing PERIOD when he was 20 years old.

Not many people can get into the sport at 20 it's very very very difficult and also illogical because you build a lot more talent from experience not from youth.

Wow, that´s pretty odd. But it shows that he has talent.

Alonso, Riakkonen, Massa and Klien have started f1 at a very young age. Alonso was 19, Riakkonen was around the same age. Now look at them, both of them have race wins under thier belts. Michael Schumacher was only like 22 when he started. This shows that age doesnt reammy make a big factor in getting into f1. Just because your 20 doesnt mean you wont get into f1 for a few years, you could get in now if a team think you have talent. Age is no factor.

and what i wasnt talking about in my previous post wasnt the age of the drivers (any team that had damon Hill racing for them obviously doesnt care about age), its the spirit of the team. remember when jordan was in thier prime, the late 90's, they were the hip-and-happenin team. they had bikini models everywhere, the team was very youthful in spirit, sponsor savvy, lead by a fun loving guy in EJ who happened to be a drummer in his band called the buzzin hornets. now look at them. the spirit of the team has gone, its all bare. theres no 'fun' left in the team.

some of the worlds most talented racers not jsut F1 drivers, V8supercars, WRC, etc. started at very very young ages in karting, its amazing how many of the top v8 supercar drivers went go-karting before they were like 10-15

Born and schooled in Aveiro, Portugal, and lived in Gafanha de Nazare, then I came via aeroplane to the USA...

Are you fat FatAssBr? :dunce: j/k :D

By racing, I mean actually start karting, the only person in Formula One with the least prior racing experience is Kimi Raikkonen. Schumacher and Alonso, had done kart races and etc. to the knowledge I have anyways quite some time MORE than 2 years before going into Formula One. Let's not mention that it was A LOT easier for all those guys to get sponsorship backing.

Age is a factor. When Schumacher came, he didn't dominate, it took him time, and he only won his first ever championship because of the death of arguably the best driver ever.

Even then, I denounce the opinion that Schumacher himself has any talent that any other driver doesn't.
