2009 Chinese Grand Prix – Can anyone stop Brawn?

I think Metar knows more about this but:

Whch german TV stations broadcast F1? My usual Belgian coverage is down for a few days so sadly I've got to return to the germans, who I can't stand for some reason... (probably the talking talking talking with Lauda before the race even starts...)

Hey Metar, does RTL or RTL2 broadcast F1?

Anyone pick up on the speed of the Brawns in the final sector? Compared with the RBR's, I reckon if the Brawn's are behind the RBR's heading down that mile straight, they'll pick them off one by one and the RBR's won't be able to re-pass them.

Can't wait for the race. So nice to see a mix up there. Barri out-performed Button, was waiting for that.

According to the speed trap Brawn are totally midfield, albeit 5kph. I don't know the source of your imformation, but the best sector 3 times are also midfield.
This is all from the official F1 site.

Five kilometres isn't much. In fact, it's probably not enough to pass another car over the length of Shanghai's back straight on its own.

I noticed it over the entire course of Qualy.

RBR's were picking tenths up in sectors 1/2 but losing it in sector 3. Let's wait and see, but it's my expectations.

Alright boys, I'm here in Tennesse and am going to try and stay awake for this GP. Don't worry my DVR is set just in case I can't stay conscience.

I'm amazed that Buemi has the fastest car according to the speed traps. Same with the Force Indias, just a shame they can't get it going round the corners as well as everyone else.

The Williams aren't running too fast at the end of the straight though, but it doesn't add up to much in the end though.

Vettel on pole, safety car start? Sounds like a winning combination :sly:

I'm not a betting man, but you can get Lewis Hamilton - the world champion and acknowledged extremely good wet weather driver, starting from ninth in a clearly decent car, at 20-1. seems a bit generous to me. of course, now I spotted that but didn't succumb to temptation, I'll be annoyed if he wins =)

Sutil went off and rejoined under the safety car. F1 cars do not work properly at this speed.

Edit. Force India are pitting.

Alonso is right, let them race, a dry line will appear. Do we need a Liuzzi outlap to convince race control like Fuji 07? :D

Treed on Hamilton.

Ferrari pulls their KERS off for Safety Reasons. Given the weather conditions, can you blame them?
