But there is a high chance that Ronaldo will leave this summer and they need someone to replace him.

Where would he go? It doesn't seem like United has the budget for him at this moment. And I don't really see Ronaldo going to any other EPL team. Nobody can really afford the guy from another league. Other than maybe PSG or Munich. And they don't really need him. Lavezzi and Ribery to a cracking job week in and week out.

Well United is a high possibility actually. But apart from that, PSG, BVB, or America.

I can't really see him at Dortmund or going to America. I felt like I read somewhere that United doesn't have enough money to afford Ronaldo this coming year. I personally think that he'll stay put at Real Madrid.

It's not that United can't afford Ronaldo, because we can. (Yes, we as in United). ;)

It's more that Ferguson have to consider the new fair-play rules and with Ronaldo's salary, at least one or two United players will have to go to get CR7 back to Old Trafford.

But I really hope Ronaldo returns. Hopefully this summer.

I'd like to see him back in the BPL. Even if it is with a team that doesn't really need him lol.

So Middlesbrough v Chelsea in the cup tonight..but its not on the tv, i thought it would be on ESPN because ITV had a cup game last night, but no its not on, only highlights on ITV4 later...i hate it when theres no games on the tv in midweek!...

Im able to watch on the TV. :sly:

Not that it's that interesting.

Go Middlesbrough! :D

Let me get this right, we are not showing an English cup game in England....but they are showing it in Norway!!

What the hells happening!?

Dammit, I guess I'll just follow BBC Sports live text commentary and watch the highlights later.

Hala Madrid!! That game was brutal for Barca fans lol
Regarding Ronaldo, I really do not see him leaving Madrid. He recently stated he wants to see out his contract. There are rumors of Bale going to Madrid. I don't see Modric rotting on the bench. He does play quite a bit, although not a regular starter like he was for Spurs. Would stink to see Bale leave since Spurs have been doing quite well under AVB. But as a Madrid fan I would love to see him play there. Ronaldo can easily move to the right, center, or even be striker of Bale excels on the left. My only thought would be that if Ronaldo does in fact leave Madrid he would go to Man U (Fergie loves him) and Bale could try to be that attacking threat on the left.

I saw the first half of Chelsea x Mid and was a bit bored. My Porto would run circles around this Chelsea squad.

Can't please everyone all of the time. But I do agree with one of the comments on the website about people venting at the managers when it's the owners who're at fault. If you only give someone half a year in a job and they win the FA Cup AND champions league then you can't just go and sack them for a bad start to a season. It happens to the best of managers.

I don't blame him for making the decision to leave, instead of waiting for the knife hanging above the head of anyone willing to take the Chelsea job on.

Well seeing as they are a massive 16 points ahead of Madrid in the La Liga, I doubt they will be too aggrieved for long  titles in the bag for them more or less.

Anyway I wonder if anyone will actually be willing to take the role of Chelsea manager, with the amount of media coverage, and the brutal owners it would take someone with supreme confidence to take on the club. He would need to be a particularly special manager.....

been a bit of a disaster for Chelsea this season hasnt it? first defending european champions to be knocked out of the CL at the group stage, Di Matteo controvertially sacked, might not finish in the top three in the league..only chance of a trophy is the FA Cup but they have to get past ManUnited first!...

Sacking a manger after an uneventful 9 months is foolish. Sacking a manager after he wins you the FA Cup and the Champions League is bordering on the insane. It's Mourinho or bust at this stage.

Ryan Giggs signs another one year extention which means he will continue playing past 40..if he plays against Norwich tomorrow then he will make his 1000th career apperance..simply incredible...

Two big games today are Chelsea-WBA (Benitez will get ripped apart by the home fans in that one!) and Southampton-QPR (Big game at the bottom)

And Kagawa has his first Hatrick in red and white! I can't wait to watch that game on MotD later!

Good day for me..United 4-0 Norwich and Swansea 1-0 Newcastle...enough said! :)

Liverpool now 2-0 v Wigan barely 20 mins played, both set up by Coutinho...what an impact hes making!

..now 3-0! good game, Wigan are forcing some good saves from Reina..

Yeah I think that Countinho is a great buy for Liverpool. Shame about that.
