It is an own goal, which is unfortunate for RVP as he hasnt scored for seven-and-a-half games for United now!

Good performance so far, we are comfortable and in control...

Well it was hard work in the end but we got the win and 18 points clear...

...and Swansea are one nil down!

They got there in the end, sweaty times  Hopefully the break for the internationals and this win will get them back on track, some tough games ahead though.

Good show by Southampton today, beating Chelsea 2-1! MOTD should be good tonight.

Another day in the Premier League thats full of goals!

3 defeats in a row for Swansea! :indiff:

Well done Southampton. I get banter from friends when Man Utd lose. Looks like it's time to deal it out to a specific Chelsea supporter.

Maintained a 15 point gap. Another set of games down. Only need what now, 10 points?

Yeah i think 10 points is right, it was 13 last time out

City have just got to keep on winning and hope United have a few slip-ups and dont forget its United-City next Monday...

Good result for United maintaining our 15 point lead and the goal went down as a Bramble OG so RvP's goal drought continues.

Yeah, they've been there before too. It didn't always end well.

Gotta keep on pushing to score 1 or 2 goals.

Fixed.

Why is it only ever United fans?

I completely agree with the decision to sack him, they have had a terrible season and O'Neill has only won 31% of his 67 games in charge! which is a crap record, some might say the timing is wrong with only 7 games left but i disagree, i think a new manager would revitalise the team and give them a boost, they were going backwards under O'Neill

....Paolo Di Canio is travelling to the North west to talk to Sunderland about the job...

I won't be around for the Chelsea game tomorrow as I'l be about 37,000 ft in the air on my way to Denver. Also, I may not have access to the site until the 9th so don't think I've died or something

Di Canio's been appointed too.

The problem wasn't the manager, it was Sunderland, they are terrible. Fletcher's their only real goalscorer and they'll probably go down with Reading and Aston Villa. No major loss there really.

Oh and Di Canio was crazy when he managed Swindon Town, so he should be great fun at Sunderland.

I'm amazed he got the job in that case... I hope he has a driver to take him to the ground.

Sub-par performance by United earlier :indiff:

Cracking goal by Ba though...i want Chelsea to win the cup now..

..what did Evra say porthill?

Chelsea deserved it, the first half was close, United possibly edged it but then after Chelsea scored we just wasted what possession and chances we had. That said, Cech made a superb save to stop Hernandez scoring. Overall not a great game but Chelsea deserved it. It's easy to forget both teams had played 48hrs earlier though and a good number of the players we're involved in those games.

The one thing I'd have done differently is started Kagawa or at least brought him on with half an hour or more to go.

Was Evra's remark as good as Roy Keane's while England and Montenegro were waiting in the tunnel last week?
