So, after declaring the 'mini-championship', will the windtunnel issues hamper Alonsos title attempt?
Will McLaren get through a GP without Gearbox issues?
Will Lotus win?
Can Grosjean make it round the first lap in one piece?
Can any midfield team make a break for the podium/victory?
Will the not-so-new teams get a point?

Can't be more boring than suzuka, right?

If I had gtchips (lost them saying maldonado was going to screw up there) I would bet that a lotus will be involved in an incident because of dirty track or bad track layout, like every year but this one more specific to lotus.

Suzuka was an interesting diversion to a normal F1 race as it relied more on tactical changes. Also there was tension throughout the race as the radio calls indicated that quite strongly with all the teams, which I found quite odd actually.

Normally they're relatively calm, but I did notice that there were a bit more stressed voices.

Korea should be interesting as its a different circuit and always generally provided good entertainment. I'm looking forward to it.

Plus... another early start to watch it, which I like!

I hope there is a different race director (is that right?) this weekend. Last weeks camera shots were a bit..weird. The worst must have been when the camera was concentrating on Massa driving over the line instead of showing the close battle between Kobayashi and Button.

I don't think that'll happen, Mclaren were dominant in the races before Suzuka and Red Bull seems to always do great at Japan. If Mclaren get a 1-2 (they're quite overdue for that) and Alonso outperforms Vettel, we could have a great championship battle on our hands.

One of the worst first corners here..you either get mugged being too careful or overdo it and collide with someone. Similar to Spa but either even tighter and trickier due to the lack of camber and run-off.

Looking forward to getting up at 5:30am like i did last sunday!

Y'know what id really like to see this weekend? whoever wins the race to get out of their car and do the gangnam dance in front of the cameras!

Korea is home of the gangnam after all!!!

Wow. That would be awesome.

Nico Rosberg
“It's good that we have a back-to-back race this weekend, so I have the chance of a better result within seven days. I think the recent updates on our car will be better suited to this circuit, so I hope we can make a step forward performance-wise. I enjoy the circuit a lot and I am excited to get to Korea after following the new Gangnam craze on the internet in the last few months. When I have some time away from the car and engineering meetings, I'm definitely looking forward to his performance this weekend.”

Like Nico mentioned, PSY is going to perform at the circuit: http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2012/9/13852.html

Anything can happen. Including a Alonso win and a Vettel DNF. Or a Vettel win and Alonso DNF. Or Hamilton win and Alonso/Vettel DNF.

Yeah ... anything can happen. Might as well be a Schumacher win. Or Perez. Or KK :D

PS - I do believe Ferrari will up their game. How far is my only question.

Ok, this means GTP roots for Rosberg. No exceptions.

Also 415m views right now. Could surpass shakira's waka waka

Nope. It's the same race director providing the coverage for every race (except Monaco), FOM.

I wonder if they still have that same tasty year old sandwiches this year.

For the race, Vettel wins, Alonso comes second, after an epic battle all the way to the end. Third place is for Grosjean. He will pass 6 cars in the first corner without taking anyone out.

Grosjean. He will pass 6 cars in the first corner without taking anyone out.

Lies, he will qualify higher than 6th and manage to take both Vettel and Alonso out at turn 1. You heard it here first.

Vettel runs in to trouble, win goes to Webber. One McLaren and one Lotus on the podium, Alonso fourth or fifth.

Schumacher retires from yet another race..

If I could go back in time and stop something horrible, Kyle Reese style, I'd travel back to the day before that song was erm, composed, and convince PSY not to do it. I'd show him the misery that he was about to inflict on the world and force him to not only agree to not write it, but convince him to become a monk and take a vow of silence.

Back to the Grosjean thing a sec... the only leading driver that he hasnt hit is Vettel!!
