The results don't matter anymore though. The season is over. "We beat Everton" isn't really a massive talking point of a Manchester United season. We're not getting relegated and I sure as hell don't want Europa League football next year.
There is a good chance to get top 4 still. How is that season being over given season Manchester United had, may look it for a team that usually finishes in 1st position most of the time in Premier League but 4th at least will be avoiding total disaster. I think Manchester United need to find another manager with right mentality though, David Moyes post-match comments are usually cringeworthy.

Wigan 1-1 Arsenal goes to extra time, great game with a great atmosphere!

@Saidur_Ali Fourth place is still definitely possible, seven points behind with 15 to play for, win all our remaining games and who knows!

There is 5 games left, 9 points behind, it is crucial Manchester United win their remaining games especially next one against Everton. Then it will be exciting race for that 4th spot to the end.

That's doable!, the Everton game is obviously tough, but after that our games are against Hull, Norwich, Sunderland and Southampton...all winnable games!...

Everton will also need to lose two further games or draw three, Arsenal will need to lose one, draw two. Goal difference should hopefully take care of itself if Manchester United manage to win remaining games.
Man U will never finish 4th

Though with any luck they will finish in the Europa League spot :D
First time for everything in history of Premier League, lowest before was 3rd three times in Premier League history. David Moyes is breaking so many records for all the wrong reasons, shame Sir Alex Ferguson decided to retire, could have been another title win this season.

Wigan-Arsenal goes to penalties!

Arsenal win 4-2 on penalties!, the trophy is still on for them...

Darn it. I put a £10 matched bet on Wigan to win 1-0 at 20/1. Won on them beating City both times.

If we beat Everton and get very lucky with games around us then it has a slim chance of happening. Only problem is the teams from 4-6 would have to lose like 2-3 of the last few games. If arsenal do bad enough to see them finish 5 or below I see Everton pinching the last place. I just have a feeling we'll aim for 4th and on the last day of the season we'll get 6th on goal different and Moyes will streak on the pitch.

I'd love to see Liverpool finally win the Premier League again. I know someone here in my town who will be drunk for a long time.

What a game of football. What a result.

The only time I've felt more nervous during a game of footy was the pens in Istanbul, and that only lasted a few minutes, I felt like that for nearly 2 hours today

Shame to lose Hendo for 3 games as he's been such a solid player for us this season, and Suarez looked a bit out of sorts, but Stevie avoid the yellow that would have seen him miss 3 games, so that's a positive.

On to the next game :D

Mixed feelings after that result! but it was a great game!

Swansea-Chelsea next and we are now just three points off bottom three so a point or better would be brilliant...even if it does help Liverpool..it helps us as well!

Swansea down to 10 after having Chico sent off for two yellows! :grumpy:

Sheff United 1-0 up v Hull in the other Cup Semi...

Hell yeah! :)

What a result, I thought we were going to end up losing it there in the end, but that third goal came at a crucial stage and kind of knocked the sting out of Man City. Credit where it is due though, they came out and showed fight in the second half, I was expecting it but we didn't cope well at all with the nice and quick passing they were doing. 👍

Sucks we lose Hendo for a few games, but fully confident whoever plays in his place will do the job. Hopefully Sturridge isn't badly injured aswell, last thing we need at this stage is losing players through injury.

Onto Norwich next week now, will be a tough one but keeping working hard and keep believing. 👍

Your telling me! makes a hard game even more impossible...

Cant believe its 0-0 at half time, Chelsea haven t really had a clear cut chance yet, Its Hull 1-2 Sheff United at half time in the Cup Semi!
