Well today just proved what we have been saying is true, united need a world class midfielder who can open up defences. Fellani is a good defensive midfielder, now we need a mata/silva type player

Someone like Nani/Kagawa...

Omg, wtf happened to us today, did our reserves play instead??? Moyes playing wrong tactics for a third third this season.

You know, now you say it they sound perfect!
Who do they play for?

Todays poor performance was not due to individual brain-farts though.
Still, I'm amazed at the fact that Young gets paid 100 000£ a week

Hopefully Moyes will let other (more able) players get a chance now after Youngs horrible show of form.

With Rafael, Evans, Nani and Kagawa nearing full match fitness things can only get better in the coming weeks.

Nani needs games to get back to 2011 quality.

I don't think so... He has a not so rare injury. It's called a brain problem. He will never recover 2011 quality, at least this year. Every time he doesn't play he is injured, but when he play gets a real injury.

Man Utd's start to the season is delicious for an Arsenal fan to watch :D.

I am not sure what Ramsey is eating for breakfast these days, but he should have it for lunch too. The boy is in the form of his life after last year in the wilderness and injury blighting him before that. It is excellent to see him living up to his early promise now.

I've got to say, based on the season so far, it doesn't look like Spurs and Arsenal will be fighting for Champions League....

Trouble is with Spurs, they are creating so many chances, but not converting many of them. Today, yeah fair enough the keeper was on top form, but with 29 shots, you'd expect a team of their calibre to convert more chances than that.

They might live to regret it against the bigger teams.

So Man United came to the Etihad Stadium yesterday 4-1 reason.....:sly:

City played brilliantly yesterday, completley tore United's defence apart. Once it was 3-0 it was put to bed. Rooney's goal was good but a bit lucky. Aguero's first goal was superb! 👍

Hopefully we can keep this momentum up.

Free-kick in the top corner with no deflection, yeah really lucky there

Hart got his fingers on it. It hit the underside of the bar and then hit the side netting.

Could have easily been saved or gone over. Such a small space for it to go into the net hence my claim of it being a good goal.

No luck involved though.

Anyway, fantastic game by City. Few (if any) teams could have coped with them yesterday.

Being an Arsenal fan, that was a very good weekend, shame Cardiff couldn't hold on for one more minute against Spurs :(.

We got a good result against Stoke, Liverpool dropped points and Surrey United got hammered by City. Fantastic!

Hopefully we can turn up against the big teams or we can wave our title chances good-bye. Also, Wenger seriously needs to add in January as we are an incredibly thin team, and if Giroud gets injured before Podolski's return and we have a CB injury, we are 🤬

Not surprised by Di Canio sacking, thought it was pretty shocking how he treated the players, Di Matteo favourite to get the job, I reckon Curbishley would be in with a shout for that one, its about time he got back on it...

...finally calmed down after yesterday!, still bewildering that Moyes leaves great players on the bench and out of the team...and Ashley Young must be ashamed of himself after that performance , a pub team player would've been more effective!

I think Man Utd and Chelsea should do a straight swap Kagawa/Mata. Both would probably actually be used at the other team.

Capital One Cup third round tonight, and Chelsea could field the most expensive second string team in history away to Swindon, with the likes of Mata,Luiz and Willian possibly starting...

..and back to United for a second, on Twitter I follow ManUnited News which does as the title suggests and yesterday they said that Ash Young and Bebe joined Twitter at the same time, then they Tweeted who would you rather have in the first team right now Young or Bebe? I responded by saying 'that's like choosing between cancer and heart disease!'

I'd say Ashley young is the better one. Then again that's just like picking the "better" STD.

I really want Mata to do good. A star player for a rival not playing should be making me happy but I like Mata he's an A+ player. Him playing is what's best for business.

You've been watching too much WWE m8h3r!

Not a lot happened in the League Cup tonight, although I was impressed with Tottenham's big win over Villa despite making 8 changes!

But tonight is the match of the round, Man United v Liverpool, and United have to respond to Sunday, I read on Twitter earlier that Evans, Nani, Rafael and Chicharito will start, which is good because they are good players and there's Suarez playing some part tonight as well...this game is going to be good!

Was wondering if you'd pick up on that.

Not sure if I will watch the match tonight. Would have to stream and I don't fancy the effort of doing that and watching a bad stream of Man Utd getting humiliated.

So your not watching it because you think we're going to lose?

Actually yes.... Sounds really bad but I've really lost interested in Football over the last year or so. I just don't find it interesting to watch and it's always worse when your team plays like a bunch of drunk'eds. Don't know if it is worth the effort.

Wow, Ive always loved football and in my life ive never know anyone to lose interest in it..i hope its not because we have had a bad start to the season, you've got to stay loyal

No, it's not the team or anything like that, it's just football. Always the same thing, the same rectangle field with 22 people. I much prefer Motorsport. Different vehicles, different tracks. It's much better in my eyes.
