That advert is hilarious. Also picks up on the insane amount of tattooed players.

Strange goings-on at Cardiff...Iain Moody, the Clubs head of recruitment and an integral part of Mackay's backroom staff, has been put on gardening leave and been replaced by a 23-year-old rookie, Alisher Apsalyamov, who has no football experience whatsoever and was seen painting some walls at Cardiffs stadium just three weeks ago!

Last night odds on Mackay leaving were slashed from 25/1 to 6/4, but he has said that he wont be quitting..

It's not that strange, the owner is an idiot, as you could tell from the first game of the season. As if changing the kit from blue to red wasn't a bad enough move, somehow he's managed to top that already, I wonder what's next.

He is a friend of the owners son apparently, but that doesn't make it ok, its still a decision with no logic whatsoever..

Speaking of mad owners, Southamptons owner Nicola Cortese, who shockingly dumped Nigel Atkins last season, has said that he'll have no problem doing the same to Pocchetino if they go on a bad run, Southampton are in the top four!, you'd think he'd be happy but oh no!

I took this picture today:

It's pretty cool seeing it in person, for one thing it's huge, plus the thought of all the legends of football that have lifted that very trophy above their heads at the end of a season.

That's just unneeded pressure. Having that at the back of you mind weighs on it meaning you make mistakes.

So then the Premier League is back after an action-packed international break and here are this weekends games...in case you don't know!

Saturday

Arsenal v Norwich
Chelsea v Cardiff
Everton v Hull
Man United v Southampton
Newcastle v Liverpool (12.45, BT)
Stoke v West Brom
Swansea v Sunderland
West Ham v Man City (5.30 SKY)

Sunday

Aston Villa v Tottenham (4.00 SKY)

Monday Night

Crystal Palace v Fulham (8.00 SKY)

I know I sound biased here but I think the best looking game this weekend isn't televised and that's Man United-Southampton, Southampton have had a great start and United are on the way back (hopefully!) should be a really good game and a tough one for United..

Also, my other team Swansea have a tough looking game against new boss Poyet's Sunderland...

Without Coloccini against Liverpool... Not sure about Remy after crash... I don't want to see 0-6 again.

Newcastle-Liverpool.👍

Matchday!!!

Just woke up to watch Newcastle score a fantastic distance shot!
And Liverpool has apparently had 6 corners the first 22 minutes.
:dopey:

Looks promising.

Newcastle still winning despite having Mbiwa sent off for concending a penalty. Newcastle doing very well, 2-1 with 20 minutes left.

Edit: As I typed that Sturridge had equalised for Liverpool.

I'm listening on 5Live and I have to say, Southampton are holding their own, from what I hear, they're having their chances. But RVP ends his goal drought :D

That's 11 league games and 12 games in total without a single win registered this season for Dave Jones and I'm pretty sure that's him done.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say Man United are out of the title fight.
I can only see them falling further behind the leaders and will be impressed if they manage a top four finish.

Moyes is way out of his depth.

Giggs should retire.

Kagawa should move on.

No No No No and No!

It has been another disappointing day but we have to continue to get behind Moyes and we are only a few points off the champions league places...I really hope that you are made to eat those words..

Average performance by Arsenal but wow the 4 goals were just stunning.

Ramsey is on fire

I'd be happy to eat my words, and I'm not saying I want Moyes out but;

It's going to get worse before it gets better. Moyes needs time, and will eventually grow into the role as a top manager (hopefully) but ambitions have to be realistic.
He has a long way to go yet.

8 points behind top spot is not a disaster. 5 points from 4 home games is.

I'm not a United Supporter and loving that they're really struggling at the moment but, a title is still not out of contention for them. Considering how poorly they are playing, they are still sitting in the top half of the league.

I'm going to guess that a bid from Dortmund will come in for Kagawa and I think they will really have not much of a choice but to accept it. Kagawa does not deserve this sort of treatment. Everyone here in Japan is pissed off that he's not playing, including Kagawa himself.

On a happier note, Januzaj has signed a five year deal at the club ending speculation of where his future lies, he just needs to decide which country to lay for now..

...also very happy with Swansea beating Sunderland four-nil, but its possibly the worst start for Poyet...

West Ham 0-1 Man City, Aguero 15 mins, west ham have started well but City are predictably ahead...

Ignoring the draw today, if Januzaj chooses to play for England, he will have to wait until 2018 because of some residency rule. I think that could turn him away to be honest, considering that Belgium have a better squad and are playing better than England at the moment.

The one drawback I can see about playing Belgium right now is that they have such a strong squad that he probably wont get much time on the pitch and he'll be on the bench a lot, if I were him id pick Serbia or Turkey

I don't know why any young multinational would choose England if I'm honest. The pressure from the media on young players is outrageous, and the team are perennialy woeful. Play for someone who might win something, and who won't crush you with expectation.

On an unrelated note, the yellow card Nolan got it this game against City was trash. Wasn't even a foul. What's become of football when a challenge like that is a card?

Wow Famine, how bad can it get.

Also still can't understand how United aren't picking up these points? is it the fear factor has gone? they still have a great starting Xi, doubt they have a chance for the title but if they keep this up they need to watch out for the Top 4 spot.

It won't be long before all you Man U fans start getting fidgety. To be fair, Moyes is making a bit of a pigs ear to his start at Old Trafford.

On a positive note, Portsmouth are now 4 games unbeaten and still pulling 15k in League Two.
