I'm not quite sure what Moyes is trying to do, is he trying a more defensive tactic? Because that's never been United's strong point. We win from outscoring the opposition, not from defending... Attack is the best form of defence after all.

I agree but I bet he'll eventually find the right formation and tactic that work, Maybe the answer is Kagawa or Hernandez.

United have already played Chelsea,Liverpool and city so a very tough start, they have an easy CL group so they just need to string a few results in the league and claw their way back.

What do you think is United's best formation by the way?

1-2 Giaccherini with the goal, good game of football this...

I don't think Moyes plays Kagawa enough, he's a stunning playmaker that can also score quite a few goals. Hernandez for me will always be a super-sub, he's such a good poacher, but I'm not sure he's as complete a forward as RVP. As far as formations are concerned the best one right now seems to be 4-2-3-1, with van Persie up front, Rooney or Kagawa in the hole (and the other on left wing) and Valencia (or Nani, he needs more playing time) on the right. Carrick and Fellaini behind them, and our usual back four of Rafael, Vidic, Ferdinand (Jones/Evans/Smalling) and Evra (Buttner is quality too).

You make some really good points, although I'm one of those who feel Hernandez should start, Kagawa should play Nani hasn't been hitting form.

Also get in Barkley, fantasy points.

Speaking of Fantasy Points. Better start Lukaku over Aguero. Lukaku got 15+ points this week and the auto team completer decided to put in Whittaker with 1 point over Lukaku... Makes perfect sense.

So to this weekend then and the pick of the bunch looks to be Man City v Everton tomorrow at 12.45 on BT, theres no other big games on but there are some interesting ones..

Not a lot happened in the league today, Liverpool and Man City both won 3-1 at home, Newcastle beat Cardiff 2-1 away, Fulham beat Stoke 1-0 and it was 0-0 between Hull and Villa..Sunderland-Man United up next and Januzaj starts for United with Jones in Central defence, Rooney also starts and no Ferdinand and Fellaini in the squad...

That was shocking by Vidic!, same mistake he made against Shakthar!..

Oh dear, 1-0 down already to a manager less, bottom of the table Sunderland. I'm doing my best not to laugh, honest.

1 down already. Great.

It's only out of respect for SAF that I'm not giving up on Moyes yet. I understand it takes a while to adapt but at this rate he'll have to turn into the worlds greatest manager to drag us back into the top 4.

I don't get why Moyes plays Cleverly instead of Kagawa... Cleverly is utterly rubbish at the moment...

What utter crap that was, we are attacking well enough but Sunderland are defending well and whenever they go forward it looks like they are going to score as our defence is all over the place!!

You actually have to order your subs in Fantasy football.

Also Fail Vidic (facepalm)

Januzaj showing them how its done! 1-1

Jesus! what a strike by Januzaj!! 1-2

We finally got the win...1-2!

Europa League here we come! :dopey:

But seriously we need to sort out that defence because its getting ridiculous now, Vidic made the same mistake he made in the week!

Last week David Moyes achieved what took him 11 years...

...Getting Everton above Man United :sly:

Not the best performance if I'm honest but it got the points. Also, Januzaj, what a player! Absolutely incredible young talent. Now we just have to make sure his contract gets signed.

Yeah, we should definitely try get a long term contract with Januzaj.

Fantastic talent.

Yeah, as the Sky Sports pundits say, clubs all over Europe will now have him on their radars.

Idiotic fans of other teams are saying that Januzaj will either turn away like Pogba, or flop like Macheda.

Oh please. This boy did better than anything they did at Man Utd, and possibly better than Pogba has done otherwise.

Turns out we didn't need a left midfielder from the transfer market, we had one to hand already.

With luck, he will safely be in for a contract now. But the new Man Utd staff have been volatile with their decisions so far, so who's to say they won't bother?

We don't need an attacking midfielder either, but Moyes got more chance of finding a new one in the transfer market than his own bench!

Januzaj is a decent player, Could be a big talent for United over the years.

United need to do better still, edging out what possibly is the worst team in the league.

While Man Utd do need to improve and by a lot, man for man Sunderland are way better than Hull or Palace and probably a few others but when you sign fourteen players and only a few even play you have to question why the club allowed that to happen and wonder quite why they have played so badly so far this season.

And meanwhile, could it possibly be Liverpool's year this year...? Sturridge and Suarez certainly look like the real deal... Suarez's goal today was brilliant - nothing too spectacular, but a quick one-two in a crowded box, he stumbles and still manages to cut it neatly passed the keeper. Despite being unpredictable and bitey, Suarez continues to prove that he's easily one of the best players in the Premiership.

Kagawa needs to play, Vidic needs to learn right from left and moyes need to play fifa and learn how the team best line up lol. Lucky win for us, going behind early.......just like last year.

The past few years of suffering as a Liverpool fan are worth it right now. We haven't won a title since before I was born, and I don't think we will this year. But it might be our best chance in a while whilst United, Chelsea and City are all unsettled.
