Was watching a few lower league highlights today, Wednesday beat Leeds 6-0
The forum's not quite bereft of Wednesdayites:
I don't really know what's going on at Hillsborough right now and, as a jaded Wednesday fan of thirty years' standing, I'm not sure I like it.
I only caught the last half, but good lord.

Enjoy the moment I suppose.

Big game for Arsenal tonight with a win taking them back to the top, I can see them doing it as well as Aston Villa have been poor lately..

Little bit of transfer news, Norwich have signed Jonas Guttierez from Newcastle on loan for the rest of the season..

Raining cats and dogs apparently so will be tough.

FIFA team of the year

Neuer, Lahm, Silva, Ramos, Alves, Xavi, Iniesta, Ribery, Messi, Ibrahimovic, Ronaldo...

How about that front three :drool:

Watching the Football League show, I'm pretty sure Wednesday were the better side only because Leeds didn't actually turn up. It's nice that we utterly punished a properly pap team for a change and all, but the top sides aren't going to give us the time and space that Leeds did.

Spot the Premier League player...

There isn't one!

And I think Dortmund will feel very hard done by for not having a player in there..

Ibrahimovic better than Suarez over the past year? I don't think so. Not far off, mind.

I think Alaba and Schweinstiger should be in there...

Jupp Heynckes wins coach of the year..

Only Rooney and Vidic has made that team from the premier league in 4 years.

Also there was someone called Tokyo Sexwale, which is arguably the greatest ever name in existance

Ive been thinking of a substitutes bench for that team, here it is..

De Gea, Pique, Alaba, Schweinstiger, Bale, Rooney, Suarez...

Ronaldo wins!!!!

That was such an emotional moment and it just shows how much that trophy meant to him. It was nice that he had his son on stage with him as well. The only thing that didn't go how I expected it to was the coach award.

Great post. I especially like the part where you explicitly refuted my point with a well structured argument.

If Suarez keeps up his current form or close to this for for the rest of the season and doesnt win the Ballon d 'Or next time around, then this award is absolute crap. Stats show that he has been the best player in the world so far this season. But can anyone really imagine a premier leage player winning this award? Let alone a player from liverpool? Not saying he should have won this year but i want to see what happens when a player not considered in the top 3 in the world playes better than all 3 of them.

Thought Arsenal were going to throw it away after Benteke scored last night, but fortunately they didn't. In past seasons I believe that we definitely would have done.
I thought Mertesacker, Koscielny and Wilshere were very good last night for the most part, and Ozil was also key to our first goal. I just wish we had killed the game off with a third goal so I didn't have to suffer us nearly throw away a two goal lead.

So there's FA cup replays tonight and one tomorrow night, Norwich v Fulham will be on BT from 7 tonight with the game kicking off at 7.45 and Man City v Blackburn will be on ITV tomorrow night kicking off at 8.10 and Blackburn are a whopping 16/1 to win! I haven't seen such long odds for one team to win a match for a long time!

45 minutes of build up for Fulham v Norwich  Jake Humphrey has his work cut out for him tonight.

I think BT get a little overexcited sometimes 'oh wow we have got Norwich v Fulham lets give 45 minutes of build up!!!!'...its not going to be a good game at all and Man City v Blackburn wont be much better, that'll be very one sided!

So what do you guys think about whats going on at Southampton?, Cortese has offered to resign for some reason, but Pochettino has said before that if he does resign then he will leave!...
