So what do you guys think about whats going on at Southampton?, Cortese has offered to resign for some reason, but Pochettino has said before that if he does resign then he will leave!...
It all seems a bit weird to me in that we only seem to know a little bit of the story which we probably aren't even supposed to know. I don't think Pochettino will leave if the chairman resigns but until we know the whole story, we can't really be sure what's going to happen.

Ive no idea what's going on, its all a bit weird and its come out of nowhere....

Also Hull have signed Jelavic for £6.5mill and Chelsea have signed Matic (another midfielder!) for £20.6mill...

There's a bit of an internal power struggle going on over there.
The owner wants to sell, the chairman has threatened to resign, the manager has pledged his allegiance to the chairman...

The timing is just awful. Southampton started the season in great form and now they slowed a bit, and then the chairman resigns. Hope it gets sorted without Pochettino resigning. They are a joy to watch this season.

Will be interesting to see how Matic does on his second outing in a Blue shirt. He's been integral to Beneficas game of late and hopefully he can be that game controlling midfielder that is Strong and quick. Definitely a position that we needed. That should hopefully give out front three more flexibility to be able to move forward.

Here is the revised FA cup 4th round draw after the replays..

Arsenal v Coventry
Birmingham v Swansea
Bolton v Cardiff
Bournemouth v Liverpool
Chelsea v Stoke
Huddersfield v Charlton/Oxford
Man City v Watford
Nottm Forest v Preston
Port Vale v Brighton
Rochdale v Sheff Wed
Sheff Utd v Fulham
Southampton v Yeovil
Southend v Hull
Stevenage v Everton
Sunderland v Kidderminster
Wigan v Crystal Palace

That has got to be the dullest looking draw ive every seen!

And Pochettino has said that he will be staying at Southampton...

You know it's a bad draw when the stand out game is Chelsea v Stoke as it's the only all BPL game.

I reckon that one will be shown just because its the only all BPL game, I think Bournemouth-Liverpool and Stevanage-Everton might get the TV treatment as well

Games this weekend

Saturday

Arsenal v Fulham
Crystal Palace v Stoke
Liverpool v Aston Villa (5.30 SKY)
Man City v Cardiff
Norwich v Hull
Sunderland v Southampton (12.45 BT)
West Ham v Newcastle

Still no Rooney or RVP for United...are they actually going to play again this season or what?!

Still no Rooney or RVP for United...are they actually going to play again this season or what?!
Seeing that the reason they're out now is that they were rushed back after minor injuries I'd say let them heal properly.
Play Kagawa behind Welbeck or Hernandez with Januzaj and Valencia flanking him.

All change at the bottom with Cardiff, Sunderland and West ham now in the bottom three, I wonder if Tan will sack Solskjaer soon!

Also De Bruyne has joined Wolfsberg for £17 mill which is a lot for a player who barely played for Chelsea!

I guarantee De Bruyne will be a Sturridge all over again. A player that was good enough, just never given the chance. If we do that to Lukaku, I will be really cross.

Honestly, 17 million is a steal for De Bruyne. He had double digit goals and assists for Wolfsberg last year on loan with a side that was struggling to stay out of relegation. He really should have gone for 20-25 million in my opinion.

Well they bought a midfielder and sold one in the window, Matic in De Bruyne out, still need a striker though and I bet Mourinho will do what he did the fixture against United earlier in the season, which was start with no strikers to prove that they need Rooney!

Liverpool 0-1 Villa Weimann with the goal!!

0-2 Benteke!!!!!!!!

1-2 Sturridge half time...

Suarez saw Sterling do it last time out and decides to get in on the action 👎

But I suppose there was "clear contact" for this one too, and I must just be blind.

There was contact. He knew exactly what he was doing and it was his only option.

All of the MotD pundits say there was contact but I saw absolutely none. Also, 69% of people who voted on the survey saw no contact as well. You can't argue with public opinion.

Considering most of the football fans in England hate Suarez that vote can't be taken too seriously. The pundits however have to be impartial as part of their job and the majority of them, MOTD or otherwise, say it was a penalty.
