After a bad draw in the fourth round, we have 2 big games in the Last 16 draw. Chelsea v City will be the best to watch though IMO.

They may as well hust give the title, money and CL place to Celtic each year, until rangers come back to the top (2 years) and some money goes up there which will never happen.

I guess you could say Arsenal's title hopes are over.

Had a sneaky feeling we were going get one of the big guns in the next round. Arsenal it is, should be a good game. :)

Ouch. Arsenal's injury list has been pretty long all season, and I will be amazed if they are still top of the EPL after that run of games starting next month. Also, they'll not make it past Bayern in the CPL probably. If they do hold on to the lead of the league, however, it will be a remarkable feat and they'd be in pole position for the title.

I bet Wenger will be complaining about that fixture list...'Zut Alors ees not fair etc etc!'

And Mata has got the number 8 shirt, which used to be worn by Anderson...big shoes to fill!!

Not exactly over the moon with Swansea signing Ngog from Bolton, he did get goals in the championship but he was pretty terrible in the Premier League and he is on big wages and I don't think we needed a striker, mind you we have been talking to Tom Ince today about a possible loan move but he is talking to four other PL clubs as well...

I distinctly remember him scoring against one of your clubs :sly:

The race for young Luke Shaw seems to be heating up between United and Chelsea. Both clubs reportedly offering 21.5M and 20M respectively. I really hope we get him to replace an ageing Ashley Cole.

Perhaps I'm being a little overconfident in some peoples eyes, but I feel we can get a result in both games against Liverpool and against Utd.
However I feel the games against Munich and Man City will definitely be too much for us if we do not use this transfer window to out advantage, which is looking very unlikely as we are on the 27th Jan and haven't signed anyone.:dunce:

Signing a striker is a MUST this window as Giroud just doesn't perform against the big teams in the PL. If we don't sign a striker then we don't have a chance of winning the league as we won't have enough firepower up top to beat Chelsea and City. Those two teams will then overtake us in the league and I don't think we will have it in us to catch them back up.

Could easily see us beating Liverpool and United but if there was a decent rest between the two, that coupled with one eye on Bayern could be disastrous.

United with RVP and Rooney and Mata are a different beast.

I guess you could say Arsenal's title hopes are over.
It's certainly doable, and to be the best you have to beat the best.

Granted I don't really think they'll do it. Chelsea and City could cope with it with their massive squads but if say, Mertesacker and Ozil got injured, a massive amount of stress would be put on the squad which is already pretty small.

Cardiff has signed 3 new players, Fabio (permanent) and Zaha (loan)*yet to be officially confirmed from Manchester United, and Kenwyne Jones from Stoke.
That brings the total up to 6 January signings for newly appointed manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

Rooney, van Persie and Fellaini all back in training for the Red Devils ahead of Tuesday's clash with Cardiff.

Solskjær will probably be the most popular manager at Old Trafford tomorrow

Solskjaer will get a great reception! they still sing songs about him, hope Rooney is back, Rvp might not be..

Cabaye is on his way for a medical to PSG after Newcastle accepted an improved offer and it looks like they are replacing him with Luuk De Jong from Moenchengladbach...
