Both teams:

Manchester United: De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Jones, Giggs, Young, Mata, van Persie.

Bench: Lindegaard, Rooney, Hernandez, Cleverley, Fletcher, Kagawa, Januzaj.

Cardiff: Marshall, Caulker, Hudson, John, Mcnaughton, Medel, Whitts, Noone, Mutch, Bellamy, Campbell.

Bench:
Lewis, Turner, Kim, Eikrem, Gunnarsson, Dæhli, Berget.

United have a pretty decent team for the first time in a long time now. Still a weak back four, and the central mid isn't exactly terrifying.

And there it is!

Robin van Persie with 1-0, less than 6 mins in! :D

Good long ball from Mata, and great cross from Young...

Dreadful start.

Edit: This is absolutely garbage. I wonder what our passing percentage is.

We are playing some much better football with Mata and RVP in our team. Mata's work off the ball has been fantastic. He's been tracking back to defend and also making some very nice long passes. Now all that's left is to bring off Young for Rooney.

Jones is a CB not CM moyes. Why does he never listen! Could of put rooney there and played giggs behind in a diamond.

While I totally agree that Jones is a CB and not midfielder, I disagree putting Rooney there (CM) and I definitely disagree using Giggs behind anyone in any midfield position... Hell, why using Giggs at all?

He is a legend, I love him, but in my opinion his time is over.

Blackburn 2-1 up on Barnsley. Gestede and Cairney, thats 850k of buys putting us in front :D :D

Christ, I'd forgot I'd set up Brain Clough Zombies. I've had Van Persie as my captain for the last three months...

Mata + rooney still behind rvp but have giggs (or fletcher) behind them. Like a 4321 set up instead of the usual 4231.

Didn't they miss a penalty too?

Anyway, Everton is getting really overrunned tonight.

Yet Everton have 60% of the possession!

Mata has been in my dream team alongside Kagawa and I keep missing the transfers!

Giggs is past it. This season should be his last.

United need a very serious clear out of the squad. A fire sale over the summer is an absolute must.

I'd rather use something like 4-2-3-1 with Carrick and Fletcher (as of today), Valencia, Rooney and Mata in the 3 and RvP on top.

And with time, throw Fletcher on the bench and get a player like Vidal, Pogba or Gundogan... Why not all? :P

Haha but that's just my opinion... It worked incredible against Leverkusen with 4-2-3-1, and if only Moyes realises that 4-4-2 isn't the only formation in the world we could actually start winning something again.

Very must indeed...

Getting rid of all the ageing and just not good enough players (Cleverly, Evra, Fletcher, Ferdinand, Giggs and more) and get something "world class", as Moyes put it, is very important this summer.

Some of them might retire this summer though.

Doesn't Pogba play for Juventus? Sale or Loan?
He plays for Juve yeah, he was sold from United.

Well, I have opined for a long time that players like Nani, Young, Cleverly aren't good enough. Good, but not great. Lo and behold, as soon as Ferguson is gone, the team is languishing in 7th place. Exactly where that sort of squad quality should be.

Mata is an important signing, Van Persie probably has two seasons of good football left in him, but United need many, many new signings.

I totally agree...

Though Young today showed signs of being "world class" again. Nani and Cleverly must go.

Van Persie can probably go 2-3 seasons with 20+ BPL goals if he doesn't get any more serious injuries.
Mata was very good today, a bit of misunderstandings but that's understandable. He only first trained with the other players 2 days ago. :)

Whoohooo! United and Swansea both won....very happy man!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Pfft, Young should get a shirt change and have T.Daley on the back. Not good enough, get rid.

Yeah he isn't good enough on a regular basis, but at the moment he is our best left winger... Januzaj can also play there but I think he is more fit on the right side or in the middle.

Doesn't matter... Moyes buys Reus in the summer... Problem solved... Haha, i'll go back to sleep and keep dreaming... :P

What?

He was one of our best players this match, showing great passing, crossing and shooting abilities.

But again, best option, at the moment...

That was by far the worst First Half of the season for Arsenal, not much better in the 2nd either, Flamini was terrible.

Bad result

We look like a totally transformed team with RVP and Rooney back and Mata signed.

Moyes could and perhaps should swap Kagawa for Reus in the summer...
