No no, its about a tragic air disaster that happened, Man United were on their way back from a European tie in Belgrade, they stopped for refuelling in Munich and the plane struggled to take off due to the terrible wintry conditions the third time it never took off, it went off the runway and collided with houses, 23 people died in total including 8 United players and 3 club staff 2 other players suffered career-ending injuries, that United team were very young and the greatest of a generation and dubbed 'Busby Babes, it happened 56 years ago today....

Oh, I thought you were talking about something current.

No this was on February 6th 1958 at 3:04 PM. If you look on YouTube for Munich - The Documentary, it sheds a lot of light on the background of the crash. Also, Duncan Edwards, who survived the initial crash, died of his brain injuries on February 21st 1958. February 6th is the saddest day of the year for all Manchester United supporters.

I know what it is.

I think this weekend will be the biggest weekend of the season so far, there are big games at both ends of the table and there could be significant changes to the table come Sunday evening...

Saturday

Aston Villa v West Ham
Chelsea v Newcastle
Crystal Palace v West Brom
Liverpool v Arsenal (12.45 BT)
Norwich v Man City
Southampton v Stoke
Sunderland v Hull
Swansea v Cardiff (5.30 Sky)

Sunday

Man United v Fulham (4.00 Sky)
Tottenham v Everton (1.30 Sky)

Pick of the bunch would be Liverpool v Arsenal. Although Spurs and Everton on Sunday is a crucial tie in the race for 4th place as well.

Swansea v Cardiff and Palace v WBA are the big games at the bottom..

...Have you heard about the Vidic news Ross?, if you have what do you think...

Arsenal are well and truely capable of a win tomorrow, I said we need atleast 4 points in the next 2 games, but I think 6 is very doable.

Yeah I have. I think it was pretty inevitable with his contract running out and him getting older. It's a shame to see him go though as he's such a good leader. Plus he makes every other footballer look weak .

It's like Arsenal already know they are going to get demolished this next month and a half. Not even giving it an effort. 4-0 to Liverpool. If it continues this way, we're looking at a 10+ goal game.

Damn! I was hoping for an Arsenal win! Seems everytime I support someone this year it goes tits up!

:D

So gutted this didn't go in. Absolutely INSANE attempt.

I can't believe how our players came out in that game, no fight to get forward or desire to get in Liverpool's face and stop them attacking us.
They say that teams often represent their managers, and I couldn't agree more. Even when Liverpool got their fourth goal, Rodgers was still standing on the touchline firing his players up and changing things around. What did Arsene do? He sat down all game hiding in his shell, only getting up to have a go at the fourth official when that waste of £42.5 million fell over, handing Liverpool their 3rd goal.

We were a shambles from start to finish and I am dreading our annual dicking in the CL and against Utd.

Crikey. Wednesday are positively mid-table after doing the double over Reading (the only team we already beat under Dave Jones)...

Solid performance from Chelsea. We're really starting to come together and become one. Mourinho controlling the team similarly to how Sir Alex always controlled the team so well. Along with the way the team seems to be working on a very Bayern style system, hopefully we can grow into a powerhouse. Hazard stated he wanted to become a Messi or Ronaldo level player. I don't think he can get quite to their level but, with the year that he is having so far, I'd say he's definitely in the top 10 players in the world right now. Maybe even top 5. Amazing performances from the whole team but, Hazard, Matic, Ivanovic and Cahill were outstanding today.

Stunning to me that City were unable to get 3 points at Carrow Row as well.

Not only that, but with a defense that is being held together by double-sided tape and some glue. Playoffs here we come!

Really not looking forward to this Derby match at all, ive got a bad feeling about it after the week we have had!

C'MON SWANSEA!!!

0-0 at half time, pretty boring game so far but both teams have had good chances...

Awesome result for us today, to beat Arsenal in the manner we did was fantastic. Went after them right from the get go, was a joy to watch. :)

Onto Fulham next Wednesday, vital we build on this result and make sure we don't drop points like we did against West Brom. 👍

ROUTLEDGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Swans 1-0 up!!! :D:D:D:D:D

Although it wasn't good for United that Liverpool won earlier, I couldn't help but burst out laughing at Arsenal, also Skrtel is in my dream team!

DYER!!!!!!!!!!

Smallest player on the pitch scores with his head!

About sums it up - nightmare start to a nightmare fixture period. Fairytale run most certainly over now!

At this stage it looks like Chelsea's title, they are just so clinical.

It's weeks like this that made me back Chelsea for the title. Firstly showing Jose's refusal to lose a big game, and then the change around of a team to walk all over the opposition.

While City have lost form due to their loss against Chelsea.
