Hull v Sheffield United and Man City/Wigan v Arsenal is the semi final draw, and sorry about the double post...dunno what happened there!

Wigan are 2-0 up!!!

Oh my god oh my god, calm yourself man City will still win this is too good to be true.

How can Man City spend all the money in the world and still have Demichiles in defence is a big mystery!

This is going to be the most nervy 5 minutes in any Wigan fans' lives . So good if they could hang on though.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

FA Cup semi-final draw

Hull City v Sheffield United
Wigan Athletic v Arsenal

If Arsenal don't win the cup then Wenger should seriously consider retiring!

Fantastic win for Wigan! And to those saying that Arsenal will go through, just remember, anything can happen, that's the magic of the cup.

I mean just look at Wigan, knocking out Man City 2 years on the bounce. Once even at the Ethiad.

Two things I want to get United fans opinion of (non-United fans can weigh in as well..)

-what do you think of that letter Moyes got sent to all the season ticket holders?, it was a bad move I think as it seem a bit desperate....you know think are bad when the manager is doing stuff like that!

-what is happening to Van Persie?!, he could've been sent off Saturday and he has had a real attitude problem lately, remember what he said after the Olympiakos game? Its been like this for the last month or so and its only adding more to the rumours that he is unhappy and will leave in the summer....I wouldn't start with him against Liverpool, I'd have Rooney and Welbeck up and bench RVP, he's a liability right now...

1. Shows a sign of weakness. Moyes has shown this multiple times. The Rooney new contract situation comes to mind. Fergie would've told Rooney to pack his bags if he asked for that sort of contract.

2. He left Arsenal to attain high level trophies. He got that last year. But now, he's upset because I think he knows United won't be getting a Trophy this season and most likely next. After next season, he will likely begin to decline. I can understand exactly why he is acting like this.

Moyes sent the letter to season ticket holders because those tickets are due for renewal for next season and many of the holders are perhaps thinking of not renewing after this season...which is understandable, so that letter was 'supposed' to persuade them to renew..

Football is a funny game and a lot of the fans are plastic. 10 years ago it would have been very easy to get a ST for Brighton for example, who could barely fill a 7000 stadium. Now, hard to get a ST, averaging 27000 crowds (albeit at a bigger ground) and the city is suddenly filled with Brighton shirts. Guaranteed if they fell out of the Championship the average attendance would give sub 20000. Likewise in the Premiership would probably average almost full every time at around 30-31000. Seems that even the biggest clubs can suffer from fans wild expectations, though Man Utd fans are arguably more likely to up and leave them for good than Brighton fans.

He's having a tantrum and is acting like a spoilt child basically. He wants to score goals, win games, and ultimately win trophies. Since he's not able to do that he's probably lost all desire to play for the team, high profile players like him want to be winning.
Football players are very very fickle, when it's all going well they love their club, players, manager and it's all hunky dory. As soon as things go tits up they want out as soon as possible (yes I am generalising here), they always want a bigger wage packet, and more trophies to boast about. Most aren't willing to stick with it and help their team out of a few bad seasons and want a transfer.
I think Rooney only stayed at United because they were the only club stupid enough to give him £300,000 a week.

It's fair enough I suppose, they only want to be successful.

Charlton have sacked Chris Powell...

And they have appointed a foreigner who hasn't managed in this country before..like Fulham did...and West Brom...and Brighton...and Middlesbrough....and Watford...notice a pattern here!

Other news. Pardew has been banned for seven games, the first three of which is complete stadium ban and the other four is a touchline ban...and he has been fined £60,000...

Football this weekend and there are some massive games on!

Saturday

Aston Villa v Chelsea (5.30 SKY)
Everton v Cardiff
Fulham v Newcastle
Hull v Man City (12.45 BT0

The two big games on Sunday and some big games at the bottom on Saturday as well

...Also RVP has gone on record stating that he is happy at United, with the manager and the training sessions on wants to sign a contract extention...hmm, im not convinced...
