I think you mean most one sided. I refuse to take "weakest league" from a Welshman...

Hey, we're not bottom of the Euro seedings yet. On a serious note, the Welsh "Premier" League has actually gotten a lot better over the years. I mean, not that it matters to any non-Welshman, but I'm happy about that.

Celtic win. In other news, water is wet and Piers Moron is an utter 🤬. It is good to see someone else other than Rangers fighting for 2nd though.

Lt. Leslie so cruelly overlooked once again.

Quote from Mark Lawrenson on BBC Sport
"Liverpool might start to think about getting Gerrard off to protect him. They could bring Lucas on. Mind you, they're so comfortable, they could bring Jan Molby on."

:lol::lol::lol:

This is turning out to be a very good day for both Merseyside teams....

I am still astounded that someone with no previous managerial experience was given the Tottenham job.

They were hoping for the Guardiola affect.

Anyway, now only two points behind United in the race to avoid Europa League.

Such a good time to be a Liverpool or Everton fan, the score today is Merseyside 7 London 1...

Still think City will win this, Liverpool have been excellent lately and it is in their hands, doubt Chelsea will win it and if we beat Everton we have a top 3 chance here, shame we won't be involved in the run in, Wenger and Injuries to blame.

Liverpool still to play City and Chelsea before the end of the season...

...and next week is Arsenal-Everton!

Still think City will win this.

You're probably right 👍

It's strange... at the start of the season, ECL qualification was the dream we were chasing. Now we're in a position we never imagined it's hard to know how to feel

Remember a few months back when you fell right back and it looked like it would be a battle for 4th? Anything can still happen in the next few games.

Because you have the best player in the league(who stays fit) and a manager who gets his tactics right.

The reason I'm favoring City is because of their midfield and back five. Should be close though.

That was a bit different... that was half way through the season and no one thought we'd sustain it... but now there are only 6 games left, and if we win every one we win the big one.

Last time we were top, we lost to City and Chelsea, back to back. Both games were close and both were away from home. Now we're playing better football and both games are at home...

Yeah, if Suarez doesn't win Player of the Season and Rogers Manager of the Season it will be a travesty.

Could go to Pellegrini/ Mourinho if they win it, Suarez a shoe in unless he gets injured and Yaya has a storming end of season.

Suarez will win.
Martinez might challenge Rodgers, depending on the run in. He's done very well at Everton.

If Everton had had a 25 goal striker, they'd be challenging for the title. All they're lacking is a cutting edge in killing games off.

Just beware of second season syndrome.

Yeah, much as I love Stevie G, I have to admit Yaya is the best central midfielder in the Prem... he's just a fabulous player. But Suarez has scored 29 goals... and he missed the 1st 6 games of the season

The reason I think Rogers should win it is where we've come from... 7th last season, 20+ points behind the Champions.

Not only has he completely turned around a merely average team in 1 season (without spending a huge pile of cash), but he's got Liverpool playing by far the most attractive football in the league and the way he changes tactics as needed is very impressive... today we were 4 3 3, but against Sunderland we played the diamond and we've played 3 5 2 early in the season.

Most teams would do very well with a 25 goal striker... Personally, I think Chelsea would have walked this season if Jose hadn't thrown his toys out of his cot and loaned Lukaku out.

And yes, I know it will likely be more difficult to compete next season if we don't do it this year... we'll have ECL games for one thing.

Couldn't have asked for anything else this weekend, both Chelsea and Man City dropping points and us capitalizing and getting a solid win today. :)

Got to keep working hard and chipping away, onto West Ham next week and ready for Big Sam's park the bus tactics. :sly:

Why is everyone saying the title is in Liverpool's hands? Man City have played two games less, so it's technically in our hands. If Aguero is not back on form by the time we visit Anfield, a win would look very unlikely.
For a team sat in 6h place, Spurs defending is pure comedy
Sacking AVB was a huge mistake.

It's in both Liverpool and City's own hands... if either team win all their remaining games they win the league, irrespective of City's games in hand... the Liverpool v City game could be the title decider :)

Toure shouldn't win player of the season IMO, he is too lazy in his own half. Just yesterday he gave the ball away in the lead up to the Arsenal goal and the offside goal from Arsenal as well.

Anyway, anybody hear of the rumours that Sherwood punched Dawson (Or Rose or Soldado) in the dressing room after the game? It's believable because of Sherwood's temper but I'm not sure tbh. If it did happen, Stotty could well have had his wish come through though. ;)
Give them a hammering and we could get rid of 2 Spud managers in one season :D

I think sacking Harry Redknapp was even a bigger mistake to be honest. I think Tottenham were in a good place when he was in charge.

He had his eyes on the England job. Always dangerous to cry wolf if you don't actually have the other job secured.

So things are getting interesting at the bottom of the table, here is my take on what's going on...

Starting with the relegation zone, Fulham are rock bottom and have been of most of the season, with 24 points from 32 games and the worst defensive record with a massive 73 goals conceded, its looking very bad and very tough for them and I don't think Magath's faith in youth up front is working, playing youngsters like Woodrow and 17-year-old Moussa Dembele and leaving Bent on the bench when you need goals is not the way to go...

Sunderland are still to play this weekend, they play West Ham at home tonight and after tonight they will still have two games in hand because of their cup adventures, one point ahead of Fulham on 25 but they have struggled to score goals all season and Poyet doesn't have experience of managing a team in a relegation battle

Cardiff next on 26 and have been playing better lately, gave Liverpool a run for their money last week

Outside of the drop zone West Brom have been doing a lot better in recent weeks, picked up their first win under Mel against Swansea, 3 points clear of Cardiff on 29 with a much better goal difference and they are starting to gather momentum....

Crystal Palace are next with 31 points and had a terrific win against Chelsea on Saturday, they look so much better under Pulis but with just 20 goals scored they have by far the worst scoring record in the league..

Ahead of them is Norwich, perhaps a surprise to see them near the bottom after spending a lot in the summer window but they have struggled this season and a few of the signings just haven't really worked with Van Wolfwinkel being the prime example, had a bad day against Swansea on Saturday but they do have a five point cushion over Cardiff

Swansea and Hull are just ahead on 33 and they are safe for now but they could do with a few more points just to be sure, same could be said of Villa and West Ham on 34..

So Sunderland are now in real trouble after last night's loss..
