Dropped 2, but it's not too bad.

EDIT: so if I get a 10 point penalty for selecting Vettel, so I also not get the CP for his win?

3rd wow. I am quite surprised that I am so high.
Webber, Alonso, Raikkonen for Britain.

Holding station and a slight gain on the lead....I can't complain even with not picking the winner.

Up to 12th. Slowly gaining ground on the Top Ten, only 10 points behind now.

Well, I picked up a little more than half of my Monaco loss, so I guess I can't complain much about it. Still need a few really good races to get back in the hunt though.

Dammit, despite getting 1-2-5, I didn't gain any places. :guilty:

Woohoo!! biggest gain +7 places!!! And its 13 places in the last 3 races....I like this game now!

No, you don't. It happened to me last season and it's been added to the rules this year as a clarification.

From the first post:

  • If a driver is selected in subsequent rounds and you are out of consecutive picks a 10 point penalty will be applied.
  • You will not receive a Consecutive Pick if a selected driver wins but has a penalty.

So unfortunately there is no CP if the winning driver gets a 10 place penalty from picking them twice in a row. That is why it's always best to pick drivers who aren't consecutive picks, even if you think those you picked last will win. The 10 place penalty and no CP means it's not worth it.

I didn't do too badly this week. I maintained my position and scored my second win in as many races. Things are looking good, hopefully I can close the gap to those ahead of me in the races to come. My season start was awful, the only reason i'm near the top is i've only had one DNF, despite failing to secure that many wins and podiums. Congrats to those who got the 1-2-3 👍

Preliminary picks for Silverstone:

Alonso, Raikkonen and Rosberg.

Simply to avoid using any of my CPs (Which means I can't pick either Red Bull or Hamilton). I don't think Mclaren or Force India stand a chance, and Massa's form seems to be slipping again despite the competitiveness of the Ferrari. Grosjean is likely to finish behind Raikkonen so that's a no-brainer really. I have 2 CPs in reserve though, just incase Red Bull dominate qualifying and it turns out to be a dry race.

Temporary Selections:
1- Sebastian Vettel
9- Nico Rosberg
10- Lewis Hamilton

May swap one of the Mercs for Alonso and use a second CP, will wait until they get on the track to decide.

Last time I rolled the dice I failed miserably. That being said... VET, WEB, RAI. I've got some CP's to burn, might as well use one.

I'm going for both Red Bulls and Alonso.

I'm swapping Webber for Raikkonen, I think the Lotus's upgrades might do the job for Kimi.

Still ahead of BlacquesJacques after our home race, and I'm hoping for another good result here in Britain :). Preliminary picks are Seb (cp), Mark, and Nico Rosberg, with 4 bonus points right now.

Gone for Webber, Hamilton, Di Resta. Changed to Raikkonen.
