2015 Fantasy/Prediction Formula 1: The Finale

I have a feeling that the scores might be quite low this week - lots of points lost on RAI, MAS and BOT. And I picked the wrong Red Bull :banghead:

Just realize that you guys can actually see the scores before I post them, since I now put them into the other spreadsheet that calculates and shows the averages. 47 points was the average for the U.S. GP, so third lowest average of the season behind Russia and Hungary.

Ahaha at least I know where I've been going wrong now..........most races I would wait until after FP1/2/3 so I could make better choices, except it never usually made much difference and all I've done is lose 50/60 bonus points to everyone else! @sems4arsenal we'd be walking it if we had anywhere near the same bonus points as everyone

Indeed  I spent so many of them as I didn't know how they work :D

The smack talk is real. I don't see why it should matter though one of you is winning a championship with 7 wins...oh I revealed that too soon.

I'm a greedy sod, a few races back when it was very close I had my eyes on the double......before it all went pear shaped :P And hey 3 races to go, that's plenty of time for the WCC to turn into a complete disaster

Either way you win the trophy for most wins in the wcc so that's automatic CP for next year

Forgot to put in my picks, can I still submit and just lose the Pole position points or no?

edit: I submitted anyways, but up to you if it counts or not.

Go ahead, you'll get a -5 point deduction. If you guys ever forget to submit before quali, just go ahead and submit either way because 9.5 times out of 10 you'll get to still submit picks.

Winner(s) of the Grand Prix de Mexico:

WDC: We have two winners @DK for his first time this season and @ROAD_DOGG33J for the fourth time this season. Road still maintains a 4 point lead over now second place @Barra333, while @aarror having his deduction cost him a vital 5 points that puts him to third with 15 point deficit to first. Should be noted that @sems4arsenal would have won this round but didn't have the necessary cp needed for his picks. If he had had enough, he'd be sitting in 2nd tied with Barra. So with two more races to go and still enough to leap frog your way into second or first...please make sure you have the right amount of cp if any at all.

WCC: 1st place @Barra333 , 2nd place many people , 3rd place @tbwhhs and @sems4arsenal. However, congratgulations to @TRGTspecialist for winning the Mercedes AMG Petronas trophy for most wins in a season and with two GP to go no one else will be able to match him and also reap the benefits going into next year due to it. He'll be awarded 5CP toward next year at the start of the year for the WCC. He also remains points leader after this round, but scored the lowest points among rivals and thus has lost some of the gap he had prior.

BP break down for this GP. Before FP1=10, before FP2=9, before FP3=7

Oh I completly miscalculated my cps  , I'll be in trouble again this week :( . Best of luck to the top 3, very close.

Then make another submit and actually run people who have a chance at point rather than automatically losing out when I don't give you Nico and Lewis cause you have no CP

Winner(s) of the Brazilian GP:

Winner of the Brazil GP is @aarror and with such a win it puts him back in position only a few points behind the leader @ROAD_DOGG33J who has only 2 points over @Barra333 and 4 points over this rounds winner. Going into the final this championship is still anyone persons to take.

As for the WCC the winner was @Barra333 , the points however haven't shaken up too much and it seems all but certain that @TRGTspecialist will win as he still holds a 35 point lead over @tbwhhs. However, with only 1 cp at his disposal and those with the capacity to catch him having far more, his position is in threat going into the last race.

The new pick form is up and read with questions as well, please make sure to feel this out. Good luck and thanks for an awesome season together.

Oh my mistake, I thought otherwise. I'll probably change it now then 👍

But he never did

I'm just wondering, are you allowed to pick drivers without any penalty if they were disqualified after completing the race?

Yes, just always look at the bottom of the updated points. So that image under the flag, it says Massa (who you're talking about) and Sainz. They both don't count for actually finishing the race for one reason or another. Either exclusion, dnf or dq. So you can pick them consecutively considering they didn't "finish" or count.

They're done, I said in the OP that I would post them up between the end of the season and Jan 1st.

Reasons? Because one I wanted to make sure I did my job right through the season as busy as I was, two I'm also setting up the thread and proper tools for next season so I'm not posting up stuff the 11th hour before the Australia GP weekend, and finally I just finished my Finals yesterday so I'm a bit preoccupied with those results.

I know who the winners of the round and championships, I just haven't gotten around to posting up but will most likely do so in the next day or two.

Can you tell who won the WDC championship? :sly: Congrats to our new champ on that note, the winners of the final gp predictions this season are @aarror and @ROAD_DOGG33. Great job on a close battle for the title to the end but the ultimate factor came down to the triple crown BP. The difference between first and second only 13 points. This was a fun group of guys that stuck it out to the end and I thank you for that. I will be pming the season winners as to their prizes and when they will get them.

For the WCC our season winner is @tbwhhs with @TRGTspecialist coming runner up, @DK could have possibly won if he'd have actually used his CP but alas it didn't happen, perhaps next year.

The link below is the complete breakdown of points over the season.
