@ICEYOU: Are you making up this stuff as you go along? Tony hasn't even been in Cup for a long time and you are already calling that a "Legacy" Scheme?

As far as I can remember, the only connection Tony had with Mobil prior was his dad working for them. Tony didn't have Mobil as a sponsor until 2011.

ICEYOU
Tony is going back to orange and black and Matt is going back to yellow and black ;)

Matt's nickname is now the killer bee again!

EDIT: Tony's Mobil Legacy scheme for 2013.

Okay, here's a piece of advice for you: You really need to do your homework; use the off-season to learn a bit more deeply about what you are talking about. Trust me, you really aren't going to learn (or miss) anything terribly important about the present state of any sport during it's immediate off-season; that's when you use to time to brush up on the history of the said sport.

What the hell kind of answer is that. You don't just randomly say twice your age whenever you are asked a question about your mental capacity.

Relax lol

I just replied to the wrong part in his comment. I believe Tony Stewart has been racing for a long 15 years now. What are the teams going to do with their old cars?

Not tired of hearing Keselowki's name? You will be now:

Slight language warning at the end.

And for Penske, the old Dodges are mostly being destroyed, outside of Brad's championship car and a couple may be put up at Barrett Jackson or something.

Rebody them and use them in 2013, the "new" cars are just new body designs, nothing else is changing.

If that was true, James Finch wouldn't be concerned with a part-time schedule and continue full-time.

The chassis and bodies are different. It's a new generation of car.

He doesn't have any sponsors, that's why he is concerned.

From Jayski.

More new 2013 car info: The 2013 season will mark the introduction of the 'Gen-6' NASCAR racecar. At the heart of the new car is a desire to see more competitive racing by cars that closely resemble their showroom counterparts. Here are some of the key changes that fans will notice:
1) Distinct body lines that match street vehicles
2) The "greenhouse" area is the same on every car
3) Longer nose and shorter tail to mimic street cars
4) Carbon fiber hood and decklid
5) New decals on windshield and roof
See the full post along with images at joegibbsracing.com.(11-30-2012)

I have not found a single thing saying anything other than the body is changing.

Edit: There will be a few changes I guess, they don't have to build all new chassis though.

Kurt wrecked too many of Finch's cars, that's the real reason why Finch is going part time (That and lack of sponsorship)

Anyone know if the Nationwide Challengers are getting reskinned? I'm 90% sure the RAMs in Trucks are.

Don't think they'll be any rams. If so, maybe just one from some underfunded team. As for Challengers, Supposedly teams can still use them but other then maybe a car or two, I don't see many Challengers next season.

I would like to see the Nationwide Mustangs get redone though, they don't at all look like Mustangs. At least the Camaro has a similar front end to the Road car.

I'm fairly certain NASCAR is working on a new Nationwide car, so that may be in the works.

As far as I know, Dodge/SRT Motorsports has pulled everything, so would any "Dodge" engines be disallowed by the company due to whatever legal matter is there?

Do you have a source for this "fairly certain info" you have?

And enough on the Dodge topic. They are out of the sport for 2013. There won't be any cars or engines in competition.

The only real changes possibly going there that would make sense would be just to update the decals to match Cup (Mainly the names on the windshield and the useless sponsor on the hood)

Didn't they just release a new Nationwide car a couple years ago? Like 2011 was the first full year?

2010 was when NASCAR introduced the Nationwide COT, 2011 was the first full year of it running.

Still waiting for the #11 and #18 2013 Sprint Cup Paint Schemes.

Been checking everyday for the past month. Still no release. :s

Surprising because the #11 has been out for awhile.
