Can I just say "Cleverley get out!!".

Maybe the club shouldn't have giving him such high and stupid wages in the first place, he'd have gone by now had they not without a doubt.

Still think the hate he gets is very harsh, even though I agree he's not at the required level.

My post was based purely on his talent level or should I say lack of. I'm sure he's a lovely fella. Incidentally we are paying him 30k a week pretty limp in this day and age, he's choosing to be greedy asking the likes of Everton for 60.

Palace make club record bid of £7 million for James McArthie who is having a medical at the club..

LOL post edited but I cant spell the guys name!
To be fair, Wigan did have both James McArthur and James McCarthy who were both bought from Hamilton Accies as they probably weren't sure who was who.

£30,000? Tom Cleverly earns more in one week than the average Briton earns in a year. That's still a ridiculous amount of money regardless of whether there are other footballers on more money or not.

It is James McArthur!!

Sunderland sign Ricardo Alvarez on loan for the season from Inter Milan

Arsenal say that Danny Welbeck HASN'T been having a medical and no deal has been done

Falcao is at Carrington ahead of a loan move

Everton hopeful of a loan move for Cleverley but United want a permanent deal

Liverpool defender Sebastian Coates having medical at Sunderland ahead of Loan move

Ajax confirm sale of Blind to United

Sandro having medical at QPR ahead of £6 million deal

Talks between Borini and QPR have broken down

Less than 2 hours to go!

Deal agreed in principle for Danny Welbeck..

20 minutes to go!

The deal is permanent but due to ffp we will pay the price for him next season apparently. Good deal all in all.

Must suck to be an Arsenal fan right now.
Hardly, we've got a 23 yo England international, and MU have signed an over-rated 28 year old striker whose price magically went from 60m Euro 2 years ago to 20m now 👍

Very pleased about Wellbeck, good jorb Venger.

Don't understand some players not wanting to go to a new club where they'll play every week, all because they don't want a lower wage. It's still in the tens of thousands.. absurd.

And that's it!!! window closed

Arsenal have an extension to complete the Welbeck deal, he is expected to be an Arsenal player by the morning, no new news on the Falcao deal though..

Falcao overrated???

Buena Suerte Chícharooo!!!!

Strange that City left Negredo go without a replacement.

With Wellbeck now, does Arsenal have the biggest English contingent out of the top 5 clubs now?

So this is how I see United's starting XI for the rest of the season:

DDG
Shaw, Rojo, Jones, Rafael
Herrera, Blind, Rooney
Di Maria, RVP, Falcao

Rumour going around that Falcao has failed a medical, that would be the icing on the cake to the window for you Man United fans.

If anyone fancies a laugh (and much colourful language), take a look at Leeds United's twitter. They promised the fans "there is still work to be done," which involved selling two strikers and no new signings

I've got to be honest I'm more annoyed at losing Welbeck than I am happy we got Falcao.

Why would you sell a player who is everything the club is about. Young guys who started out at the bottom and came up through the developmental. A guy who is still young but shows some great football and will have his best years ahead of him. Not only that but selling him to a team who we will most likely be scrapping with at the end of the year for 4th. Arsenal were in trouble with the lack of strikers after Giroud's injury. Why did we sell them a striker and help them out instead of taking it as a blessing and beating them for a champions league spot.

SAF said himself that Danny would reach the top level of football as a player. I'd like to believe SAF knows what he is talking about.

I know it sounds like a but of a ramble but I'm just so annoyed we've sold him, especially to our rivals. A loan I can understand. Loan him to someone mid table so he can play every week and get the experience. Then let him come back and prove himself.

We were going to loan him but I think he wanted a permanent move he wants more play time. This gives room for Wilson to come on I think he has a lot of potential more than Welbeck. He's not really an improvement but will do them good while Giroud recovers. But once he's back I can't see him getting much play time. Also RVP is Apparently injured so I assume we got Falcao for that reason. Him and Di maria will be a good partnership imagine how many assists he will get.

RVP is having surgery I believe.

Only problem is give it 2-3 years and Rooney, RVP and Falcao if we make it permanent will all be in their 30's. Welbeck will be 25 and picking up steam. Arsenal will have him and we'll have Hernandez.

I think there is a buy out clause of 11mill if we want him back so should be no biggy. Welbeck as a loan striker up front should thrive and get better its just i don't think the system really suited him.

I love it how a few seasons ago when City started splashing out most United fans were complaining that they effectively bought the Premier League title. And now Woodward said "Financially we are extremely strong. We want to do what it takes to win the title." And financial analysts Deloitte said Louis van Gaal's near £150m spree was the highest gross transfer spend in a single window by any club. Who's trying to buy it now? :sly:

Exactly.

Over-rated???

Have you even seen his stats, and the matches he has played?

And the 60m Euro last year was a permanent deal, this year it was a loan with option to buy.

I believe it was £16 mill for the loan, with the option to buy next summer at £35 mill.
