Wow! Would be a good weekend for Chelsea if Arsenal can keep this result!

Just checked up on my Fantasy Premier League team. Haven't checked on it since week 2... Sitting in 8th in the GTP League. Not too bad really. Having Diego Costa as captain this week really helped me out. 32 points from Costa alone!!!

Man City 0-2 Arsenal, goals from a Cazorla penalty and Giroud header, best performance of the season by Arsenal, City had an off day...

And the next time we lose one you'll be back to "Wenger out!!!"

Great result though. Great performance.

I still am, but kudos where it's due. But hey if that's a sign that Wenger is changing I'll happily have him stay.

Man United have had a £26.7 million (35 mill Euro) bid for Nicola Otamendi rejected by Valencia, United might go in for a second bid, his is an Argentine international defender...

So this weeks its the Capital One Cup Semi Finals, first up its Liverpool v Chelsea tonight and then Tottenham v Sheffield United tomorrow night, both games on Sky, the game tonight should be good!

the game tonight should be good!

The game last night was indeed good... one of the best games I've seen all year.

Incredible tempo and pace of passing from Liverpool, and really solid defending from Chelsea.

it was a great game last night, Liverpool better team and the finish for Sterling's goal was superb....

Tottenham-Sheff United on now, 0-0 second half just started, second legs for both are next week

If you fancy something different Barcelona v Atletico Madrid in the Copa Del Rey is on now...

....Tottenham beat Sheffield United 1-0, Townsend penalty but Spurs were not good...at all!

Martin Odegaard signs for Real Madrid after taking a tour of every major club to decide who to join, no real surprise he picked Madrid....

Looks like Chelsea are to sign Cuadrado from Fiorentina...

It really is incredible to think that I'm the same age as Martin Odegaard and he's just signed an £80,000 per week contract with one of the biggest clubs in world football.

No matter how good that player is, £80,000 a week for a 16 year old is insane!

He might flop, or he might be good enough to win ballon d'or in the future.

Don't bash the kid before he has got the chance to prove himself. Geez.

Nobody bashed him. Just bashed the fact he's making over €100,000 a week. But I guess if they really think he'll be that good, it could seem like pennies in a few years....

I know there is an FA Cup thread but Cambridge v Man United is tonight on BBC1 and I think after our performances in recent weeks we need a big performance tonight to show we still mean business and to reassure the fans a bit, no complacency done tonight just get the job done!

Well the Fa Cup has been pretty rubbish for you this weekend.

Osgard is 'only' on £40k/wk... he needs to hit all his bonus targets to earn £80.

So a lot of media sources and press saying that United have made a bid in the region of £15-20 million for Dynamo Kiev defender Aleksander Dragovic, he is a 23 year old Austrian international, I haven't seen him play but I have heard some good things about him, United have denied making a bid for him but it is worth pointing out that they denied making bids for Rojo, Di Maria and Herrera....

Disgusting behaviour by Standard Liege fans towards their ex captain Stephen Dafour in the Liege - Anterlecht match overnight. He was sent off for kicking a ball at fans later in the game.

That was pretty shocking, don't think its a surprise in the way he reacted the way he did

Newcastle have appointed John Carver as permanent boss until the end of the season, this is the same guy who has been in charge for four games as caretaker, drawn one and lost three......

Saw the banner and to be honest, compared to how fans used to behave 30 years ago it's nothing.

If you leave your home club for a close competitor, expect to get a lot of abuse!! MTFU and accept it, it's not like they are actually going to chop his your off.

Big blow for Stoke and Bojan after the Spaniard ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in yesterdays FA cup match against Rochdale. He could be sidelined for up to 9 months :ill:

What a shame, just as he had turned a corner and was hitting some form. Scored a great goal too yesterday:

That was a brilliant strike and the Moses goal was great too..

Confirmation that Bojan is out for the rest of the season with Cruciate Knee Ligament injury, gutted for him

Also Sky Sports have banned fans behind the reporters during Deadline Day next Monday, who they are going to do that I don't know...

Thank God for that... we avoid seeing the chavvy kids that should be in bed jumping around in the background.

30 years ago ISIS wasn't actually doing it week in week out. It was tasteless.

Also, from the web:

The Football Jester ‏ on Twitter:"Two more stamps and Diego Costa gets a free coffee."
