On that front, we've also signed Romanian future-international Sergiu Bus. He's an awesome striker with excellent form (a goal every three games), so he can kiss that goodbye.
It's surprising we got him - I'd heard Chelsea were after him...
Hmph. I liked that joke.

Anyway, along with future Romanian international Bus (from CSKA Sofia) and future Belgian international Vermijl (from Manchester United), apparently we've signed probably not future Portuguese international Melo (from Moreirense) and re-signed actual Slovenia international Kelhar from ourselves. The latter we gave a short-term contract to in August and he immediately had an ACL injury which meant he's never played for us.

Harry Redknapp has resigned as QPR boss this afternoon, says he needs a knee operation which would keep him from doing his job and being at the club, he has needed the operation for a while and I thought he had it in the summer during the off season, Sherwood favourite to get job with Hoddle second favourite....

The only thing worse than Rangers was the state of the pitch.
I'm not sure what was worse, the state of the pitch or the quality of the football on display - both were abysmal.

Meanwhile, Rangers are shipping in 5 players from Newcastle United in a bid to ensure at least a playoff place, and preferably the automatic promotion spot. Understandably, Hearts and Hibs are not very happy about it, not least because Mike Ashley (Newcastle owner, and 9% stake holder at Rangers) is not supposed to be exerting influence on the Rangers board as part of a deal with the SFA... yeh right.

Just want to say as a United fan all the best to Darren Fletcher at West Brom, he was a fantastic servant at United with 342 appearances and all the best to Anderson too, he was something of a flop at the club but he did score a penalty in the Moscow shootout, so thanks for that Ando!

That's pretty much the only thing I can remember Ando doing really . Sad to see Fletcher go as well although it's a good move for him as I couldn't see him getting into the United side anytime soon.

If your talking about the European Leagues, Borussia Dortmund lost to Augsberg 1-0 at home, their 11th loss in the last 19 and are bottom of the Bundesliga two points adrift...

Speaking of European football, Inter lost again. 1-0 to Napoli in the cup.

As long as they keep losing on the run-up to the next round of the Europa I will be happy. :sly: :P

Apparently a condition of the five players' loans is that they must be in the starting XI.

Brian Clough must be turning over in his grave.

Ghana currently tearing Equatorial Guinea a new one in Africa Nations Cup.

Edit 3 0 and now pitch in lnvasion.

Mad scenes, surprised the ref doesn't just award Guinea the win with the way the tournament has been going.

We've started doing an accumulator at work on the 3pm games every weekend. Last weekend we was 1 goal off 5/6 games. This week we've gone with Chelsea, Man City, Palace and Swansea. We had a 5-5 split between Southampton winning and the game being a draw so we're not betting on that one. We have done Bournemouth to beat Wigan though. Wish us luck.

Today marks the 57th anniversary of the Munich Air Crash where 23 people including 8 Manchester United players lost their lives.

:lol::lol: Arsenal had Giroud and Welbeck up front today!

Both have their game more suited to Arsenal's style and are more proven, I'd give Kane 1 or 2 more years before I rate him. (Stunning this season no doubt)

Conversely, I'll wait till Giroud or Welbeck destroy the best defence in England (Chelsea) before I consider them to be near Kane's level.

Kane and Welbeck up front would be a formidable duo. But neither play for the other's club and that's all there is to it. 🤬 Morgan can spout what he wants, as if people give a toss.
