Fantastic result for us against City today. Great game to watch with 3 outstandingly good goals.

Top 4 now looking possible.

Job done from us, another beauty from Coutinho.

Great character and spirit from our lads, given what happened to us on Thursday.

Wednesday extraordinarily scored for the third game in a row (8 goals in 3 games!) and beat the league leaders and best defence in the division 2-0.

Good win from the Arsenal, terrible performance for the most but needed that win, only 4 points off City weirdly.

Haven't seen the mistaken identity thing from yesterday but I'm sure it'll sort itself out, decent win and great to see Rooney back amongst the goals, I'm not too worried about Di Maria's form, I think the same thing happened to Ozil after he joined Arsenal and he has turned out to be one of their best players...

League Cup Final is on now, Mourinho is playing Cahill in midfield.....

Boro weren't the leaders but well done Wednesday. :irked: All the top teams are slipping up now, so little time to plan for games.

Well done to Chelsea on winning this years Capital One Cup final, Mourinho's first trophy for three years..

As a City fan, it was painful to watch but they were two great goals from Liverpool. It was a great game to watch, especially the first half

Maradona looks like most of the old women from back home.

Absolute gypo. State of that ear piercing.

Sad to hear about Dave Mackay's passing, he played WELL before my time but he sounded like a beast of a player RIP Dave Mackay...

Quite surprised that no-one has mentioned Adam Johnson here, don't know what to make of the story too be honest...

Well before most of our time probably. I've heard about the Johnson story, it's a shame people are jumping to conclusions already because this is something which could follow him around for the rest of his life, we should wait until we hear a bit more about it.

Pretty cheap way to win for United, but it is a win.
It might be a cheap win, but it's still a win, which is the important part. Even though it's another poor performance by the United players.

De Gea is the only one with an approved match today.

So I was at work for the first half but I taped it and watched if from the start when I got home, I fast forwarded the entire first half as I know nothing really happened in it, just watched the entire second half, we really got away with that, we had some good chances but there was no real sense of urgency about us, Tim Krul at fault for our goal I thought, I let out a massive sigh of relief when Young slotted it home, we needed that win as we have some fixtures that will shape our season to come..

United were lucky, hopefully they start dropping points with their tough fixtures as I can't see Liverpool dropping a lot with their form now.

If that happens nowadays the guy having his shirt pulled would dive to the ground with an ear shattering scream.

True. But those who know their English football history will know that Billy Bremner is best known for stuff like this.

So to see a hard bastard like Dave Mackay put him in his place is very satisfying.

So its the FA Cup sixth round/quarter finals this weekend and there is only one league game on and that's between QPR and Tottenham which is Spurs's game in hand from last weekend when they played in the cup final (Chelsea's game in hand is against Leicester if your wondering) QPR v Tottenham is a 3pm kickoff tomorrow and wont be televised...

Seeing as we are on the topic of the battle 3rd/4th place, right now I have serious reservations as to whether Man United can finish in the top four, it seems we are only winning games because we have to, because the teams around as are getting results, its like we are being forced in to winning games and we have a massive few month and a bit ahead too when we play the teams around us and Chelsea and City, I'm really not sure, I think it'll be Arsenal and Liverpool for third and fourth right now...

It seems astonishing to me that Evans can be banned for 6 games, and Cisse for 7 for something as trivial (yes it's pretty disgusting and dirty) as spitting in someone's face. Yet Barnes gets away with a potentially career ending leg breaking challenge on Matic without so much as a slap on the wrist.

The punishments are random it seems. I can't remember the name but I believe someone got a 3 game ban earlier in the season for spitting.

I'd give that amount of ban for someone gobbing on the pitch, never mind someone else.

It's not just "disgusting and dirty", it's phenomenally dangerous. All sorts of utterly awful diseases can be spread by spitting - I mean we can start with herpes, wind up through tuberculosis and crest at ebola without even thinking about it. It's a biohazard and if it occurred in the street it would be treated as assault and that's an offence for which you can be imprisoned.

6 matches? Not enough.
