Looking forward to later, win would be great but I'd be happy with a point..

I'm not really surprised with how well Pardew has done at Palace, he has always been a good manager he is just a bit of a hot-head in the dug-out and I think he is a lot happier at the club where he used to play and away from all the pressure and stress he had at Newcastle..

I really, really hope that van Gaal will make Man U. champions while he's there. Just to give you Brits the chance to see his victory speech. In Dunglish of course.

Chelsea just got away with that, far from a vintage performance..

One change for United, Smalling in for Rojo, Di Maria still on bench..

One of the best halves of Football this season! More of the same please :D

Edit: 3-1!!!! MATAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Edit 4-1 Smalling!!! I'm ****ing loving this!!!!!!

What happened to City? if they don't get their act together Liverpool will catch them (not that that is a bad thing).

Also I hope Cesc Fabregas gets hit by a fish in the face.

What a game! When Aguero scored in the 8th minute, I thought we were in for a long afternoon but what a comeback! I would hate to be a City fan right now, not even 4-2 seconds. ;)

"Our strikers played like lazyhorse fromday."

Liverpool-Newcastle tonight, both teams in poor form but I fancy Liverpool to win quite comfortably as their bad run only happened recently (they were unbeaten until they played United) and Newcastle's poor run has been going on for months, also if Liverpool win then the race for fourth will heat up again after City's defeat yesterday..

Edit: Liverpool just won 2-0, Sterling and Allen with the goals and Newcastle had Sissoko sent off fairly late on, Liverpool now four points off fourth..

Yeah I wouldn't bet on it, since he stated that he is going to take a sabbatical.

Its a shame about Dortmund's situation but I suppose that when your rival team buys 90% of your goal-scoring power you're left in a bad situation.

Right so some breaking news here, the nominations for PFA player and young player of the year have just been announced, and here they are

Player of the year

Diego Costa, Philippe Coutinho, David De Gea, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Alexis Sanchez

Young player of the year

Thibaut Courtois, Philippe Coutinho, David De Gea, Eden Hazard, Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling

Games this weekend

Saturday

Chelsea v Man United (5.30 Sky)
Crystal Palace v West Brom
Everton v Burnley
Leicester v Swansea
Stoke v Southampton

Sunday
Man City v West Ham (1.30 Sky)
Newcastle v Tottenham (4.00 Sky)

FA Cup Semi Finals this weekend mean a reduced schedule, those FA Cup games are Reading v Arsenal tomorrow at 5.20pm on BBC and Aston Villa v Liverpool on Sunday at 3pm on BT..

I was at the Bridge. Given that Chelsea away is the hardest game of the year, the fact we dominated is a great sign. But without Carrick, the possession just wouldn't come to anything. And Chelsea's football is a winning formula and nothing more. McNair and Shaw were both great but the subs didn't do us any good.

Now we wait on Arsenal-Chelsea. If Arsenal win, 2nd place will be difficult to get - although them needing a goalkeeping error to get to the final gives some confidence.

No words on the Chelsea match. I hate Mourinho's defensive and very negative style of play. In my opinion he set out for a draw today by playing Zouma in central midfield. At the end of the game, they had 3 attack minded players on the field.

Anyway, after that game was finished, I watched the extra time of the Reading v Arsenal game. You really have to feel for Federici. That's something that he'll never forget.

Couldn't watch the game yesterday as I was at work till Quarter to 11 doing a stocktake but I taped it and watched it when I got home, no real complaints about our performance but I would've liked to have seen us create more clear chances but McNair and Shaw were fantastic, we shouldn't be disheartened by the loss as we played well and we have nothing to worry about..

...as for Chelsea, lately they're performances have dropped and they are scraping the wins together, they are stuttering towards the title..

First time in ages I've actually not been sick to lose, the better team certainly lost imo which gives me great hope for next season. Carrick was an unfortunate miss in such a big game, although Herrara filled in pretty well and getting better by the minute. Who'd have thought Young and Fellaini would be so integral to our recent success:boggled: A transfer tweak here and there then roll on next season!
