I don't even think he is eligible as I thought I read somewhere that he held some type of karting license or something that prevented is eligibility. Regardless, there is no need for him to go "flexing his muscle" like that putting multiple accounts on the leaderboard, especially beings he's already got the number one spot and guaranteed in if he is in fact eligible. Its just him being his "elitist" self if you ask me.

I don't even think he is eligible as I thought I read somewhere that he held some type of karting license or something that prevented is eligibility. Regardless, there is no need for him to go "flexing his muscle" like that putting multiple accounts on the leaderboard, especially beings he's already got the number one spot and guaranteed in if he is in fact eligible. Its just him being his "elitist" self if you ask me.
It's not guaranteed he's won the TT yet, which is his only goal, because as you already pointed out he isn't eligible. So I don't see it as elitist, at least in this instance, and I don't want to debate on whether or not he is in general.
So why take up another top 10 spot then?

He's only evening the playing field...he wants the overall win and I think its only fair he be allowed the same amount of time to get it as the rest of the world...I actually think it was really gentlemanly of him to pick a nationality for his second account that aren't eligible for race camp and to be up front about who he actually is. The only more courteous gesture he could have made was maybe call himself "IMMORTAL_Week2"

I nearly said exactly that in my response to Mitch, I'm glad somebody else sees it that way. I'd definitely be doing the same as IMMORTAL if I were in his shoes, because I still think Ti-tech85 is going to start pushing, in my opinion in the next day or so. For him to not try would be a big surprise.

I'm surprised to see quite a few running with ABS 0 in the race camp eligible countries. It's a little bit slower by virtue of having to brake a little earlier than the ABS 1 times. Has to be said that it's so much more fun with it off though!

Fairly proud of that and surprised to make a half second leap this far in. Spent a lot of time studying my second sectors and it really paid off. Very unspecial through sector one and through the chicane, so it's possible I can actually post a 2:17.anything.

How anybody can gold this event with a ds3 is beyond me. I have been at it all weekend non stop and still can't get gold, can do 1:23's all day have even got a mid 1:21 by accident I think as I can't repeat still not good enough for gold. I do think my best time I had some lucky drifting going on it's still a blur cause lack of sleep.

I will admit it is tough for DS3 users but I've been using a controller on this game going on ten years & my best time is a 2:16.426 u just need to push a little harder than usual & u will gold it. From my time on the DS3 i would recommendGot any tips setting wise?Thanks for encouraring post.
- turn off the music on track, listen to the engine and tyres
- if you use AT - then try to use the brake to stay in the correct gears when cornering
- follow your own ghost, i would recommend the line instead of the ghost car
- Throttle/Brake mapped on R2/L2
- TCS 1 / ABS 1
- Steering Sensivity 7
- studying the top replays
- watch @Tidgney 's Guide - you find it on youtube on his channel
- practice, practice, practice
- push yourself hard
- focus and be/stay confident

you made it through rouge flat out with a DS3? in 6th gear? would love to know how...my best time is in the high 2:18s and the best i can do through rouge is drop to fifth and then gun it with extremely minimal brakes. suggestions helpful, snake butt.

To be fair in IMMORTAL's case, I support what he's doing because, like what others have said, he only wants to win the time trial. Since the German competition ended on the 9th, German accounts are no longer allowed to register times.
If he just left with a week still on the clock for the rest of the world, he may not be able to win. Maybe Ti-tech could make a late charge. @DBRS007 could make some noise towards the end too.
IMMORTAL does not want this to happen. So he made a second account in a region not elegible for the competition and will continue his routine of running insane laptimes.

wow did anyone else notice that Immortal was on a 754 km session in his .159 replay?
That's easy enough to do if you don't quit between sessions. I've done it a few times...started and ended first session at around 400 km, didn't quit and came back later that evening for another 400-500 km session ending up with almost a 1000 km on the odometer before turning things off.....its not a big deal.

I think there is nothing wrong with what he's doing. If i had the skills to be #1 in the world i would be flexing My elitism too. Im sure it took a lot of hard work and dedication to reach where he is at. If people don't like it, put some top times up to knock his down. Thats the only answer i see.

After a few sessions of not being able to get anywhere near my 16.9 I managed to beat it today! After yesterday and only being able to do a best of 17.5 I was worried I had lost it! But today was a good day, lots of improvement. Still a bit more in it for me, not enough to qualify but hopefully enough to get into the 15's and cement a top 100 uk place. Right now I'm 83rd. Happy with this evenings work! Back on track!
