I'll say this much. Almirola has a better chance advancing than both Edwards and Biffle.Almirola in 5th.
Did any of us see that coming?
To quote Lee CorsoNo idea, but this race just got good until Brad ran away with it.

Actually, that's what Jimmie Johnson has been doing for quite a lot of years now.I'd love it if a driver who doesn't run the nationwide races wins the cup championship. It won't change anything but it'll show that one does not have to run the lower series in the same weekend to get better at cup.

So have many others, but this is the first year that Cup drivers are prohibited from testing at Chase tracks, so some of them are running in the nationwide series to circumvent that rule.Actually, that's what Jimmie Johnson has been doing for quite a lot of years now.
We better tell Helio Castroneves to start driving in Indy Lights, then maybe he'll win a championship.Cup drivers are not problem. It is fact half of nationwide are either talentless and / or in poor cars / teams and / or start and park.

Nico Rosberg could do with some GP2 racing. Wait, they prohibit former champions. OK, well, that means Bottas and Ricciardo could race there to gain the necessary experience!
I don't see the difference.Totally irrelevant...
I don't see the difference.
Here's some more facts: only 2 buschwhackers in the history of the series have actually deserved to win a race. The first was Dick Trickle, the man who never won at Cup after spending all his time in lousy equipment, so I'll give him those 2 victories even though they came at a time when he still ran Cup full-time. The second was Joe Nemechek when he conquered Homestead in 1997, for obvious reasons.
And for the last tidbit of trivia: free pass recipient for caution 5 in the Cup race was #10. This gives her yet another meaningless lead lap finish for the girl power-obsessed "fans" to boast about.
Everything could be fixed with just simple things. I could live with Cup regulars in Nationwide if they were completely disregarded in the standings. Just merely not awarding them points isn't enough, they need to disappear from the statistics as well. In this week's NW race, Trevor Bayne beat all other series regulars fair and square, he should therefore have appropriate points for winning as well, and be credited with a victory.I swear you are getting more and more paranoid about NASCAR.
Regardless, when Stewart, Harvick, Dale Jnr etc ran in the series when I was watching around 2004-2007 nearly all the grid was full of sponsors, no starters and parkers, and cup guys didn't walk races. Depth is the issue.
Also what about Danica? This season she's actually done better, stopped being a spotlight seeker and concentrated on driving. She's actually getting results legitimately now.
Gotta make money and fill the field somehowCup drivers are not problem. It is fact half of nationwide are either talentless and / or in poor cars / teams and / or start and park.
Just forbid Cup drivers from racing in Nationwide entirely. But neither my idea or yours will ever happen because the grids need to be filled, Buschwhackers will be outraged, and most of all there would be money lost.Everything could be fixed with just simple things. Your constant thinking of Danica Patrick being given the free pass on purpose amuses me. The caution that brought her back on the lead lap was for Clint Bowyer pounding the wall. Not for some silly "ermagherd invizibul dibree!" reason. And provided, damaged race cars will always be a hazard on the race track even if the majority of the field has passed it as the race car could leave its own debris on the track, or stop at anytime.Ah, Patrick, the lucky female dog. I don't see a single reason to appreciate those results for as long as the #10 keeps appearing on the free pass sheet.
Then why are you still watching NASCAR? Formula 1 is still going on. And while I'm not familiar with series like the BTCC, WTCC, WRC, DTM, or many other racing leagues across the pond, I can tell you right now there have to be championships still going on for you to watch.Good thing I have IndyCar now. None of this crap about experienced professionals completely raping (pardon the harsh language) the minor series, and most importantly, no more Patrick being overrated and whining whenever things don't go her way, and no more Go Daddy, the company of morons who have openly supported SOPA.
