Got an email, filled out paperwork. Getting notarized tomorrow morning and sending back as soon as it's notarized. It isn't guaranteed, but seems promising.

This defeat alone is a dream for me and no matter what happens, ill be happy enough just for the national finals expeirence. We do get to keep the t-shirt right?

My excitement level is well beyond being through the roof, although I know that it is still a possibility that I don't make it as my email is different that those that others have received. The reason has got to be due to some of the drivers ahead of me are close to missing their deadline(s) - at least one of them.. I am, hopeful as @Vaca_Noche is directly ahead of me on the official leaderboard and he received his flight info already.

I am curious as to what time/day you received your initial email Vaca (and others who are lower on the list, @ParkerMO125 , etc). Mine came in just before 5pm PST today.. Again, I know mine is different as it uses the word "may" more than once and highlights saying this is not a guarantee..

Any info fellas?

got mine at 630 central. The word 'may' is not used once. Has the two attachments and the email told me i have until end of 7/1 to send back along with license and airport ill be using and to reply asap with my accept or decline. Talks about 7/9 thru 7/12.

When i replied back with my acceptance and informed ill send all back tomorrow, got a response twn min later.

I would copy email on here but its on gfs pc and only access to gtp is on my phone right now and dont know my password(stays logged in)
im sure all is well zip just respond asap! Proa just a dif format, mine is from a Robin

I'd say they're trying to plan ahead in case there's an issue with a contestant ahead of you and they need to make a late switch.

I replied immediately with a yes and included a picture of my drivers license. My email had the two attachments as well, printed and filled out the documents, will get them notarized tomorrow as soon as my bank opens and fax them to the # that was provided as well as sending the hard copies via "same day service" from UPS/FedEx. My email also had another individual "cc'd" - assuming another employee of the company.

I'd say they're trying to plan ahead in case there's an issue with a contestant ahead of you and they need to make a late switch.
