So I gave the time trail another go
New time 1:03.313 I think that's good
Enough for 4-5th in the US

Only the result of Round 4 matters for qualification. The previous rounds are just warm-ups and they give you lots of GT6 credits. Can someone explain the set-up for Gt-academy? Are the first round important too achieve a place in the national finals? and why are they several rounds? I don't really understand how you get a place in the national finals if they are several rounds? Do you need to be the best in your country in every round? Very pleased for answers!
Thanks for the answer! Ok so i don't really need to participate in the earlier rounds, but i guess it's a bit harder to achieve a better time in the final round? It used to be a 370Z in earlier days if I remember correctly?Only the result of Round 4 matters for qualification. The previous rounds are just warm-ups and they give you lots of GT6 credits.
It may be the case that in the event of a tie in round 4, earlier rounds could be used as a tie-break - but it's not likely to even come up and I'm only guessing anyway.
I believe the tie breaker is the date when the lap was done. Which player finished the lap first wins the tie breaker.Only the result of Round 4 matters for qualification. The previous rounds are just warm-ups and they give you lots of GT6 credits.

Also a possibility - after all, motorsport does it that wayI believe the tie breaker is the date when the lap was done. Which player finished the lap first wins the tie breaker.
Is this actually an issue? While I would defer to your 4th place opinion, it would seem that the only location this would come into play is going into Druids. As braking effort needed to lock even CHs is not needed anywhere else on course.Dan Holland is in 2nd place with no ABS.

Anybody got through to race camp in this thread? Any of the gtp guys? Tidgney i.e. i managed a 1.03.260 think im almost at the limit of my driving skills tho.
24 hours of Dubai race, and a race seat. He just raced at Monza. The other two I recognised as finalists were Tidgney (European) and Twissy (national or European, I'm not sure which. It's in his signature I think). There are some great drivers around here, and there's at least one other GT Academy champion lurking somewhere.
Would love to get through to just the next stage im 15th uk atm24 hours of Dubai race, and a race seat. He just raced at Monza. Edit: he said he wanted to see how he does now, with the limited amount of free time he has.

I mean the 28 which go through or 14 whatever it is.... Its good to aim high lolEveryone makes it to the next round. I think the only requirement is for you to make the finals is to have "completed" each round by a certain date. I don't remember exactly. It's in the FAQ.
