Ooof. @Sureboss won't like that - not with McClaren a free agent...

What a horrible threat that is!

I thought he was doing an okay job, considering the club hasn't been able to buy a player since Dec 2014, with our two best midfielders (Reid and Cohen) injured for most of his time in charge, as well as our leading goal scorer last season who was injured for a year (close to returning now)...

Freedman was uninspiring in style, but he did okay. I understand we could be coming out of FFP this June, maybe Fawaz has got someone lined up for then...

Leicester v Newcastle tonight, big night for Benitez, a point away to the league leaders will be a great start...

A defeat as expected but had written this game off anyways. Not a brilliant performance but a much improved performance compared to the last couple of months under McLaren. We probably created more chance this game than the whole of the season under Schhteve, and Leicester didn't really trouble us too much apart from a great goal.

Dull game, only good bit was the goal which was a nice bit of skill from Okazaki, but apart from that nothing really happened....

I wonder if this means Lenny will be spotted in my local boozer more often... he was a regular sight until his move down South. His spell at Bolton has been a pretty miserable one, and he must miss those heady days of CL games with Celtic!

Actually surprised by that. Thought he'd stick it out. I guess they're too far gone now...

New consortium headed by Dean Holdsworth has just taken over the club. Maybe the new board wanted a new manager?

I'll update Manager Watch in a day or two.

Thought Lennon did an admirable job under very difficult circumstances...

11th March - Steve McClaren (Newcastle United, sacked) Premier League
13th March - Dougie Freedman (Nottingham Forest, sacked) Championship
15th March - Neil Lennon (Bolton Wanderers, sacked) Championship

Sackings: 43
Resignations: 4
Expirations: 2
Approaches: 5

Total: 54

We're just three sackings away from having enough to fill up half of the top 92. In one season.

Don't forget successive 3-0 wins for Sheffield Wednesday :D

We now have the fourth best goal difference in the league - ahead of Derby and Brighton - and only Burnley has a better goals scored figure (by 5)...

Just heard the radiomouth say the win will "move Wednesday into 6th". The 6th place we've been in for 2 months and started the day in, you mean? Ass.

Why is Charlton's "0 shots on target" represented on the sliding graphic?

Spurs supposedly eyeing up Wijnaldum. Not entirely sure about the truth behind it and it probably requires Newcastle to be relegated.

Would be a decent signing, he could cover Dembele/Eriksen/Alli better than Mason or Carroll IMO. Spurs have been significantly weaker without their best midfield this year and he's someone I'd be interested in.

Also Bentaleb's horrible season is supposedly over due to injury picked up with the under-21's.

There's ways to win a match in the last minute, not many as sublime as this:

Bit of a lucky win for Swansea yesterday as we didn't play well and our goal came from a Guzan mistake, but still edging that bit closer to safety though

Newcastle and Sunderland is 0-0 just coming up to HT and Liverpool are leading Southampton 0-2.

Another manager for your list @Liquid the Notts County manager has been sacked after just 69 days in charge, cant remember his name though...

EDIT!, Sunderland take the lead through Defoe!

They were 1-2 up on 83 minutes but lost 3-2!

Manchester Derby up next, COME ON UNITED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rashford scores his first derby goal! 1-0 :D:D:D

Spurs now 2-0, Kane again...

Man City 0-1 Man United full time

Spurs 3-0 Bournemouth

United just a point behind City in third now...

Notts County Chairman Ray Trew
I don't think I have ever been as impressed by someone at an interview as I was by Jamie [Fullarton].

March:

BBC
after Saturday's 4-1 home defeat by Exeter City, his eighth loss in 12 games, he was sacked.

Whoops.

19th March - Jamie Fullarton (Notts County, sacked) League Two

Sackings: 44
Resignations: 4
Expirations: 2
Approaches: 5

Total: 55

What the hell happened to Liverpool.

The quantity and volume of extreme language in my house yesterday afternoon was biblical.

Liverpool are beyond frustrating at the moment :mad::mad:
