Who said he was a one season wonder?
A lot of people, I wasn't quoting anyone specific here, but at the start of the year, and during his dry spell in the first couple of months, a lot of people wrote him off.

International break now so no Premier League for a couple of weeks, it'll be weird with no top flight football over Easter...

In regards to the top of the league:

Last night, Schmeichel won the award for Danish footballer of the year. Afterwards a reporter asked Eriksen about the rivalry between him and Schmeichel in the top of the PL. His joke answer was:

"Now we need to injure Kasper. Of course he is injured when he returns to Leicester after two national games."

Reporter: "You'll take care of that?"

Eriksen: "Ahh, let's see"

Norwich Striker Diermurci Mbokani was at the Airport in Brussels when the bombs went off this morning but was unharmed and is now safely back in the UK

Can't out turn the big C though.

Wrexham were on telly last night versus league leaders Cheltenham and for once, we delivered the goods when in front of the cameras!

Dean Saunders was burying us in his analysis though. Clueless, botoxed moron.

An inexplicable decision from an inexplicable decision and inexplicably announced during an England game...

... but Aston Villa have parted company with 'manager' Remi Garde.

No surprise about Garde, in the last few years the Villa job has become the worst in English Football IMO, ahead of Newcastle and Leeds, they have become a bit of a joke of a club I'm afraid..

FIFA has sanctioned Santos, Sevilla, FC Twente over third party ownership of players.

And, according to Marca. Man City has activated the £39.5 million release clause for Laporte who a couple of days ago suffered a leg fracture.

And there was me thinking that Darren Ferguson at Doncaster would be the next to go.

29th March - Remi Garde (Aston Villa, sacked) Premier League

Sackings: 45
Resignations: 4
Expirations: 2
Approaches: 5

Total: 56

International Break now over, normal Premier League Football resumes this weekend, also the El Clasico is on this Saturday night, Barcelona are 10 points ahead or Real Madrid as it stands!

And on the topic of Spain, Gary Neville's been sacked.

I think Demichelis will definitely be out come the summer. He is also in trouble over betting on games at the moment, I'm not sure what kind if punishment that brings and weather it will lead to him being offloaded anyway.

I'm not sure about Kompany, if I was Guardiola I'd like to give him a shot at being consistently fit, he's too good to not be given a chance.

Toure will definitely leave under Pep I think, they fell out at Barcelona as I recall...

I still can't fathom why he was hired in the first place.
The owner of Salford City, Peter Lim, is co-owner of Valencia.

And for everyone else, Salford City is 50% owned by Peter Lim and 50% by a consortium made up of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Gary & Phil Neville. Lim has also installed Phil as assistant coach at Valencia...
