Emmanuel Eboue given one year ban by FIFA after a long standing dispute with his agent, he signed a deal to play with Sunderland only three weeks ago and that has now been terminated....

Blunderland not having much luck with some of their players, are they?

I still want Newcastle to go down though.

Them and Villa.

The owner of Salford City, Peter Lim, is co-owner of Valencia.

And for everyone else, Salford City is 50% owned by Peter Lim and 50% by a consortium made up of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt and Gary & Phil Neville. Lim has also installed Phil as assistant coach at Valencia...

He (Phil) has been assistant there for a fair amount of time already; with his brother being given the axe he's now working under his 3rd head coach/manager (delete where applicable) during his time there.

I'm also wondering if Gary will go back to doing another stint on Sky, although I can imagine he'd get quite a bit of stick for it. After all, he's experienced first hand how very different it is saying what should've happened versus actually trying to influence what's happening in front of him...

Also (if a bit late), I can't see Yaya staying. He's acted like a toddler more then once in his time there (the cake that never arrived, and more recently his tantrum over not being named Afcon footballer of the year), and I think Pep will want someone with a bit more enthusiasm... quite a few times he just appears lackadaisical.

Them and Villa.

Villa booked their trip to the Championship as earlier as Christmas, it just remains to be seen if they remembered to get return tickets.

I don't care about Villa at all. They could become World Club Champions and I wouldn't care. They're just a nothing club.

Newcastle I'd like to see relegated in all three spots. And under a transfer embargo. And in administration. And bought by a consortium of Neil Warnock, Ron Atkinson, David Moyes and Wayne Rooney. And hit by a meteor.

Sounds quite intriguing. Just wondering how did he manage to 'rip' your Dad off?
By pretending that he'd discovered a long-lost piece of historic Newcastle United footage all by himself and taking all the credit, when if it wasn't for the work we put in to find out exactly what the footage was that we discovered in dad's parent's attic, we wouldn't even have known who to contact and Ioannou would have had nothing to claim.

It was the 1932 FA Cup final, for reference. He even sent us the tape of BBC North East's broadcast that day where the it was described as "footage he discovered in a house in South Wales"...

Villa vs Chelsea, 6 pointer that one. I jest but I think Chelsea have finally sorted their troubles out. They're looking quite solid as of late.

I'd like to see Sunderland and Newcastle both go down, the only thing they shout about each year is the derby between the two. Neither do anything else but scrape survival and fight to live another day.

I also had 10 on Newcastle to go down last year at 100-1 so yeah wasn't too happy when they scraped it last year.

Gabby Agbonlahor left out of Villa squad for tomorrow after being caught smoking, Marcos Rojo was also filmed smoking ouside a nightclub this week, no idea if he'll get the same punishment from Van Gaal

Speaking of United, Luke Shaw will be back in training on Monday but only light work with one of the physio's, Van Gaal was tight-lipped on when his potential return will be, you cant rush these things.

Ahahahahahahahahahahahahaha get 🤬, Newcastle.

Incredible to see almost a complete Camp Nou with tears in their eyes during the tribute for Johan Cruijff.

Unrelated side note.

The houses of Cristiano Ronaldo and his mom in Madrid are both for sale, since this week, which gives some room for speculation about a possible transfer for CR7.

Yeah great tribute. I've got to hand it to RM to take part as well. I don't remember such solidarity from Barca when Alfredo DiStefano passed.

Not a huge fan of either team but looking forward to a good match by Messi and Co.

Ooh Bale just got seriously screwed by having his goal cancelled. Could have been the winner.

Aaaaaaaaaand Ronaldo saves the day. 1-2.

Good day's Football yesterday with bags of goals, Looks like Newcastle might be down now as I cant see how Rafa can turn it around, good point for Swansea after being 2-0 down

Leicester-Southampton on now and the Leicester Chairman has given every fan a free Doughnut and a bottle of Beer to celebrate his birthday and to says thank you for the support, some merchandise sellers outside the ground are already selling 'Leicester Premier League Champions' scarves....

We are going to be champions :sly:. Even if this current performance has been very heart in mouth.

Dramatic first half though, perhaps a penalty at one end for the Simpson handball when he stopped Mane, which was really good by the way!, and then a great cross and header by Morgan for your goal...

I'm listening on the radio, but it sounded as though his hand/arm was right against his torso not out in an unusual position? The handball rules are so inconsistently applied currently it's probably one that could have been given though. About 5 minutes before the commentators had just been saying how Morgan hasn't scored all season .

If Leicester takes the win today, they're up 7 points. I can't see them screw that up anymore.

And Vardy should get a statue if they bag it.

@Solo, Mane was 1-1 with Schmeichel, he went round him and he went for the shot went Simpson blocked but he definitely moved his elbow for the ball to hit it, he knew it was going to hit his elbow, should've been a pen and maybe a red card....

If Leicester do win they should make a statue of the entire team like in the whole team photos they take but 3D and made of gold.

Great scenes at Old Trafford before the game where Sir Bobby Charlton had the south stand named after him, there was also a crowd mosaic too, he seemed genuinely touched by it, thoroughly deserved, fantastic gesture....
