Again you single out one specific car across a broad model range. One car doesn't make them all that way. But best to drop it here than start world war three.
"That's fine because you're not the one who brought it up. However, your claim that "bigger cars are the problem" was pretty stupid considering you love a year/body style that isn't any bigger by marginal numbers than the current generation.'

Perhaps if you stopped & read posts directed towards you instead of letting your brain just click, "Post Reply" to everything, you'd see why I singled that car out; you can't claim cars are getting too big when the era you brown nose isn't smaller by any considerable means, esp. the specific cars you love to brag about.

A certain friend of mine has asked me to post this here.

Carbon fiber rear end.

I'm not good at finding photoshops. How can you tell the first one is?
Mainly the fact that the shopped photo has a lot of details, colours, and textures from the previous Shelby Mustang. It's also a very easy angle to photoshop convincingly. The stripes aren't quite straight, and the texture number plate surround is flat while the bumper is contoured.

I still think that the EB 'stang with track pack and manual is the best option in the range. Especially once the warranty is over.

Huh. Maybe? It was pretty far away from Ann Arbor all the way over here in Grand Rapids, if that were the case. Although, I know C/D comes over here pretty often for pieces, and to run tests up at Grattan Raceway. Actually, a lot of the automakers bring their cars up there to test. Could have been all the above!

I read most of the major reviews of the Mustang, and it sounds like its most of everything that we expected; A civilized, well-done sports coupe that keeps the Mustang ideology going, while still being a global product. Everybody likes it because its legitimately a good car - what a novel concept! The GT is still a hell of a performance deal, even if you can't get a stripped out one for less than $30k (how I will miss those 2012 days...), but, it sounds like the EcoBoost variant will be more than enough for most people, and will only take a little getting used to. But, I think more than anything, I'm interested in seeing what the aftermarket comes up with. There are so many different ways to go with the new Mustang, I can't wait to see what people do. Particularly with the EcoBoost.

Still, uh, someone find a way to get rid of the pony on the front and back and let me throw on some ST badges, please.

"...how is the handling performance of the 2015 Mustang? We’ll turn to Motor Trend to find out, who recently had a go in fully-loaded 2015 Mustang GT Premium model complete with the 435 horsepower 5.0-liter Coyote V8. On the figure eight course, the car and its fancy new IRS suspension put down a time of 24.7 seconds at an average of 0.84g. That’s quicker than the last Mustang GT (25.0 seconds at 0.77 g average) and is also better than the track-focused Mustang Boss 302, which did it in 24.7 seconds at an average of 0.78 g. MT never put the stock Camaro SS around the figure eight as far as we can tell, but for comparisons sake, the 2013 Camaro SS 1LE did the figure eight in 24.2 seconds at an average 0.83 g."

"MT says the 2015 Mustang “didn’t feel like the front and rear ends were talking to each other,” and “turning in off-throttle resulted in moderate push (understeer from the front end), which needed to be corrected with the throttle.” They concluded that they were “expecting more” out of the Mustang’s IRS, but chalked the understeer/oversteer behaviour up to the Mustang’s 3814 lb kerb weight, which is 196 lbs more than the last Mustang GT."

And thanks to the new IRS and heavier weight the 2015 GT is slower in the 1/4 mile than the outgoing 2014.
