Another one on the street.

A good color scheme, but reverse it and it'd look even better. In my honest opinion.

That color is just awful. It looks like the putty patrol. Blubmblubmbllululu!

I'm am not a fan of stripes, but this is just wow. I would get this simply because it is not offered on any of the other models (5.0, ecoboost, v6).
I think this combo would look good with chrome plated wheels too. I'd get these stock rims and have it finished in brushed aluminum.

Brushed aluminum carbon fiber?

Buddy inquired today through 3 dealerships about a '16 allocation on a GT350 & all 3 are asking $5-10k over sticker because the other 2 (plus 2 more equalling 5 altogether in just Plano/Frisco) are also asking that much.

Pretty upset given he sold his Boss 302 for this car and has to wait even longer to put down an order. So, going through what @Blackbird. is going through in his region. :indiff:

Sounds to me like nobody wants to sell one.

I'd prefer these white stripes over the black ones.

Those are CF wheels. I don't think you'll be getting those in brushed aluminum.

I'm going Tuesday to see if a dealer will do MSRP. Fingers crossed. A lot of maybes but I'll see what's what.

That maybe an R in the picture but i specifically said what I would get. My budget wouldnt get me an R. A GT350 would be enough, you know the one that comes with aluminum wheels?

The 7 spokes are unique to the GT350R. The base car comes with these.

So I don't think you could have the 7 spokes in brushed aluminum, period. Of course there is the aftermarket.

You going for the big daddy R? :sly:

While it looks seriously bad ass A. I don't need a track weapon like that. B. it's quite a jump from the base 350 ($13,500) so I don't think it's right for me. I guess I should add C. Rs are really low allocation and even harder to get at MSRP if not impossible at this point.

I'd go with the base. For options... depends. If I got the yellow it'd be the stripes, black roof, and yellow is an extra cost. Or white w/ blue stripes no black roof.

You basically just have to tell them, MSRP and you have a sale, any more than that....see ya.

I'm going to try really hard to stick to my guns. My guess is they'll try to push $5k over sticker.

Worst Case: They waste my time and stay firm on $10k over

Problem there is that there's always a sucker who will take your place, sadly.

Very true. I'm going into this expecting not to make a deal. It's very rare to get an MSRP deal.

Is it normal that i fell crazy in love with the new GT350 ?

Not at all. I fully intended on keeping the S4 until I saw this car and saw what the MSRP was. Alot of car for the money.

the price is really expensive but it's one of those things that i really love regardless of price. I don't know maybe because i live in the place where Mustangs are very rare.

The power coat on the stock GT350 can be removed to its original aluminum finish.
Here are Sidewinder II's from a Viper with the black paint removed from the rim to reveal the original aluminum finish. So yes, I would get the standard GT350 car that comes with the non carbon fiber wheels and get the rims polished to remove the black paint.

Don't you own a Nismo GTR? What is a $13,500 difference? Isnt a Nismo GTR 40/50k more than a standard 100k GTR?
I agree on not needing a track weapon since you have one of the ultimates already.
Also, after seeing some posts in different Ford forums, your best bet to get close to MSRP is out of state. Some Cali people interested have called 70 dealerships and all want to charge ADM.

Or be like me and wait till the hype dies down and get the car for MSRP or 2nd hand R!

Double post, just letting you know.

I think someone else has the GT-R NISMO around here, and it was the very first one produced.

I thought you meant specifically the 7 spokers. My mistake.

I don't own a NISMO GT-R or a GT-R. I lease a S4. I can't afford a GT-R anyways. Besides, I don't think i'd be looking at a GT-R if I was shopping in that price bracket.

I'm not wanting to get rid of my S4 so if this thing with the dealer on Tuesday doesn't pan out I have no problem waiting. Makes it easy to stick to my guns. If they don't want to deal it's not like i'm going back to my Honda Civic.

For some reason I thought you were a GTR owner because of the blackbird name. But that probably has to do with the sr71.

I still have two years to go on my '13 so I have no choice but to wait. Who knows, maybe by then viper prices may get into the mid 60s. :D
