2015 Formula 1 Grosser Preis Von Österreich

I suspect that Ferrari gave him a stern talking-to after he blamed them for his poor performance in qualifying.
He certainly looked quite sheepish. Earphones in. And, to make him look worse, he was sandwiched between two 'happy' people in Alonso and Vettel.

I've never seen someone so happy about a 25-place grid penalty... What drugs have McLaren-Honda given Alonso?

I'm a bit confused too. Don't they have to take a stop-go in the race too to make up the places that they were unable to drop on the grid?

Yes they do. Somewhere in the range of 10secs I believe. Can't quite remember the number, and as a McLaren fan, I don't want to! :lol:

Brundle and a spectator get into a deep discussion on air while cameras where running. Brundle tried getting him to leave and eventually succeeded. :lol:

I think Alonso just doesn't give a damn about the penalties or the potential outcome of the race. He's probably just hoping to be able to have a bit of fun out there and race button until the car breaks down or runs out of fuel.

No one's fault there. Raikkonen got loose, Alonso had nowhere to go. They are both fine which I think is the more important thing here.

Looks like Raikkonen dropped it - his hands zig-zag before he got hit.

Hard to say, looks like he might have been assisted, need the Alonso onboard...

EDIT: The Button-mobile sounds very poorly.

EDIT EDIT: A space is being cleared in the garage, providing it makes it back.

It's not all bad for the McLaren boys, Red Bull Ring has some fantastic hospitality services :lol:

That's a strange place for a driver error. He was out of the corner and a ways down the straight (4th gear?) when the car went squirrelly.

Started shortly after the exit though. We've seen Raikkonen crash with a left-hand-lunge before (Monaco) so I'm still unsure. However, I still think there's a possibility that Alonso gave him a nudge early on in the incident before the second collision, maybe even deflated Raikkonen's rear left tyre.

EDIT: A couple of photos from the Beeb feed;

If Kimi ran over the astro turf, that could have done something in terms of grip, like with the Rosberg Qualy lap, presuming the astro turf is still damp.
