2015 Formula 1 Grosser Preis Von Ă–sterreich

I was hoping that McLaren / Honda would mount an attack from the back, not mount other cars from the back. Maybe one day they'll be able to catch a break. Glad to see Alonso and Raikkonen escaped unscathed.

Nice drive for Massa. đź‘Ť

Weird mistakes by Hamilton and Ferrari's pit. đź‘Ž

Alonso has been in so many rough crashes over his F1 career already.. Today again +30g I think? I hope he retires soon, that Honda engine isn't worth risking your health for.

Thought it was a decent race but nothing special, fantastic start by Rosberg sealed the win, scary crash at the start!..

That was an instantly forgettable race.

Yeah, the GP2 race was actually a bit more exciting. Much better overtaking, but a little less drama. All I'll remember about this race is the terrible Alonso/Raikonnen crash, Vettel and Massa kinda battling, and Nico winning. Everything else will just mostly be a blur of laps to me. Sad but true. Oh, and and Berger's podium rambling!

When I first got in to F1 in late 2012, I used to be able to be excited almost every single lap! The sounds were a part of it, and I suppose I still hadn't really gotten used to the speeds. I suppose now I have much higher expectations and keep getting disappointed.

Berger speaking at Nico on the podium: "Well done Lewis".

True story.

He honestly sounded a little buzzed/drunk :cheers::lol:

I was impressed by Nico today, Lewis would have been close to jumping him had he pitted a lap earlier but it didn't matter in the end.

Nice bit of razzle dazzle by Pastor Maldonado - that's a few races now where he turns a certain crash into bit of replay flash.

It's a miracle that nothing serious came out of this ...

About the race, my 3 special mentions go to:
Nico Rosberg - a dominant win over Hamilton. Here's to hoping their battle remains balanced until the end of the season.

Felipe Massa - can't be easy to hold Seb's Ferrari and I will admit that I didn't think he could bring that 3rd place home.

Pastor Maldonado - Probably one of his greatest races in F1 ever. Hard and wheel to wheel battles today without giving his bashers nothing to laugh about. Great job!

Yeah, Kimi definitely got loose and Alonso had nowhere to go. No one's fault, though. But, was that a marshall in the background that cleared the barrier once Kimi and Alonso's cars started to come towards him?

This is why there should be a points restructure. From first to last, if you finish the race you get at least a point. With 3 cars not finishing in the first couple laps, the last driver to cross the line under their own steam, should get a point. Big teams can't even finish. Let the small teams get some kind of reward.

It looks like FOM's lawyers got to those two videos posted above before I did.

Sometimes I wonder why Button and Alonso bother turning up to race when they seem to retire within 15 miles either due to unreliability or being taken out.

Probably earning the most pound sterling/euro per mile out of the grid though.

If they didn't run in a GP, they wouldn't be able to do much in the way of improvement.

I've been keeping an eye on the test session at Red Bull ring. Believe it or not, Alonso has bested his best time in qualifying last weekend, AND the car has done over 50 laps without fires, explosions, taking flight or any other typical behavior of this years car.
