Undrivable. That's what this thing is. I can't even do a full lap without myself getting sick looking at the screen bouncing up and down from all the bumps. Great job Nissan. Fantastic GT Academy this year. 👎

I don't think it's undriveable ,it just requires a different style of driving than most are used too.
But I do agree with getting sick of the bouncing and shaking down the straights I've almost thrown up twice today as its very disorientating

And yet you capitalized Romanian :)

that was ironic :)

anyway, my attitude? i'm still calm, no need to be a thug behind a computer, i'm not a kid ;)

i think this round must be a joke, am i dreaming or?...

I don't agree. I find it funnier that it is hard for you to find your shift key.

what was the point of that post? why this tone with me? i have offended nobody as far as i know with my post.
He is not a friend, it was the first time he talked to me, i do not allow myself to talk to a stranger like that...

my posts are whitout caps, so they are incomprehensibles?
-You guys can search posts from me where i don't use caps when i write a name, i always make the effort.

instead of some reflexions for my posts without caps, i'd rather some corrections of my english wich is not my language... but ok, i take notice ;)

I apologize for the HS, guys ;)

I've had the same problem - have got bronze but now had to give up. I dread to think what this would do for an epileptic or a migraine sufferer!

Fixed for you. I is always capitalised when you are talking about yourself. Sentences always start with a capital letter.

Allow me to quote this part of the Acceptable Use Policy again.

  • You will not use “textspeak” (“r”, “u”, “plz”, etc.) in your messages. Decent grammar is expected at all times, including proper usage of capital letters.
This is non-negotiable and does not say you don't have to if you can't be bothered.

Ahhhh, I was on for a high 25/low 26 then I hit the very last cone before the finish line.... Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!

Nice lap sky

Nissan is clearly interested in hiring a very specific kind of driver with this year's event. One who can handle cars with insanely annoying understeer (see Round 1) and one with overly stiff suspension. :)

On a 27.9 now after another 100km or so this eve, can see quite a bit more time in the last sector especially if I man up enough. Was good enough for 8th UK at the time but just checked and been bumped down to 10th. Painful being at work all night and seeing times steadily improve again haha.

Someone mentioned earlier (can't remember who) that Nissan may be interested in someone who can adapt to any car, hence why all of the cars behaved much, much differently from each other - more than they would considering the fact they are much, much different cars. :P

It is a good trait to look for though, a driver that can adapt to any car is more suitable than those who can only drive one car fast.

Hating the very tight penalty areas. After getting a bronze it took me another hour of re-starts just to get silver. All because of those touchy areas. 1400th in the ranking is good enough for me.
That being said, I like this car better than the Peugeot. More predictable and easier to figure out. Turn-in early and you're good to go. Not bad for an FF car.
It's just too time consuming to re-start. :P

Can't believe I got scared  I was 6 tenths up on my ghost on for a low 26 when I got to the final chicane. Psychologically from earlier that last cone got the better of me and I slowed down and lost a few tenths :( 26.5 for now, 1st in UK and 9th overall at least but I want better :P

I will beat that cone!!! It's on! The pressure is immense at the end of a hot lap though; the last chicane is so difficult to get right! It's a 1 in 100 shot.....

EDIT - Now 3:26.472 (1st in UK and 5th Overall)

:gtpflag:

I genuinely think this car is a fun one to drive. I've never properly cut laps on la sarthe before tbh aswell. ( I literally bought gt6 only to cut laps on Bathurst) plenty of restarts for me but i'm improving my pb each session. Currently silver trophy. Wanting gold at least and if there's time, ill try push up the rankings a little before time runs out.

Good luck all.

I completely agree Andrew. And its not only the ffb, but also the on screen bouncing....I too became nauchous after my short stint with it.

I hate rounds with long tracks. When you see you are 6 seconds off it's really depressing. You know the time lost per kilometer is the same as it has always been, but over a whole lap it looks like you're MILES off pace.

Maybe PD will troll us even further next year: Nissan R92CP at full Nurburgring 24h :P

Also, wonder what happened to IMMORTAL? I expect him to be all over the top by now

Guess, he does not like this combo which is horrible by the looks itself.

Probably. His driving style relies a lot on trail braking and 4 wheel drifting the car, which is pretty useless for this car. Wolf on the other hand has a much smoother and progressive style, which is why he monsters this combo

I think IMMORTAL should still do pretty well though, if he decides to give it a try. Aliens are fast no matter what.

Or just get rid of cones all together and follow the 3+tires over the white line= Lap invalidated rule. There is no need for those cones.
It's undoubtedly easier to program. So there's a need, just not one we're apt to appreciate. :)

Maybe the length of the Circuit de la Sarthe is encouraging them to use that technique for this event over others.

Oh, please, god no. :nervous:

After the first 15mins of trying this combo I hated it, thought it was the worst racing game experience I've had to date.

But now I'm actually enjoying it and looking forward to the grind over the next few days.
