Oh FFS, VIR round moved 1 week from Aug 21 so it wont conflict with the Rolex sportscar reunion and Laguna Seca. Good thing it doesnt conflict with any other racing of cars that are not show cars now. :banghead:

28 August, Virginia International Raceway (GTLM, GTD), IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship
27/28 August, Utah Motorsport Campus, Pirelli World Challenge
27/28 August, Budapest*, Sprint, Blancpain GT Series
27/28 August, Sydney Motorsport Park, Australian GT Endurance Series
27/28 August, Paul Ricard, Michelin GT3 Le Mans Cup
28 August, Paul Ricard, European Le Mans Series
28 August, Suzuka Circuit, Super GT

:boggled:
But what a day to be a sportscar fan!

Is it me or is the GTLM BMW like, identical to the GT3 except the one missing canard and a different rear wing?

EDIT: Here's the pron gallery.

EDIT EDIT: No more floppy Aston! And the massive rear wing is back! :D Watch out, the big V12 is coming. :mischievous:

I personally would like to see the 2016 C7R with a black and yellow C7R side by side before making an opinion as to which color will look best on it. It's really hard to say which looks the best without seeing them together.

Just got back from Daytona. The GT3 cars are really quiet in comparison to the others (though they're still loud!). The R8 seemed to be pretty darn fast! I don't know if it'll prove to be faster than the M6 though...

Production engines vs Race engines is essentially why they are quiet.

With that...here's an update for the GT classes:
GTLM:
Corvette - 2
Ford - 2
Ferrari - 1
BMW - 2
Porsche - 2
GTLM Total = 9

GTD:
Ferrari - 1
Aston Martin - 1
BMW - 2
Lamborghini - 3
Porsche - 4
Audi - 2
Mercedes - 1 (Sebring start of season for them, unless things change)
GTD Total = 14
GTLM/GTD Combined Total = 23
Thanks to GTD we've got a decent grid size, the GT only events will be amazing this year. 23 cars! :D The supporting cast of Prototypes are a bit muddy for a list at the moment. #GTMasterRace :sly:
